Welcome to 2026, a year of possessing all the promises of God, which are considered "Yes" and "Amen" through Jesus Christ. Key promises of God in the Bible include:

**Eternal and Spiritual Promises**
Salvation and Eternal Life: God promises that anyone who believes in His Son, Jesus Christ, will have eternal life and not perish.
Forgiveness of Sins: If you confess your sins, God is faithful and just to forgive them and purify you.
The Holy Spirit: God promises to give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him to guide them into all truth.
New Life: Those in Christ are promised a "new creation" where the old life is gone and new life has begun.

**Personal Guidance and Strength**
Presence and Comfort: God promises to never leave or forsake you. He is a refuge and strength in times of trouble.
Strength for the Weary: Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength, "soaring on wings like eagles."
Wisdom: If you lack wisdom and ask God, He promises to give it generously without finding fault.
Peace: God promises a peace that "transcends all understanding" to guard your heart and mind when you pray.

**Provision and Protection**
Meeting All Needs: God promises to supply all your needs—such as food and clothing—according to His riches in glory.
Protection from Evil: God promises to protect His children from the "fowler’s snare" and be a shield against harm.
Escape from Temptation: God is faithful and will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear, providing a way of escape.

**Future Hope**
A Future and a Hope: God declares that His plans for you are for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Working for Good: God promises to work all things together for the good of those who love Him.
Jesus’ Return: Jesus promised He is going to prepare a place for believers and will return to take them to be with Him.
The End of Suffering: At the end of time, God promises to wipe away every tear, with no more death, sorrow, or pain.

Believers need to claim these promises, trusting in God’s faithfulness and timing.

"What do people mean by 'Full-time Ministry'?

Many ask if I'm in "full-time ministry," but I think Christians often misunderstand this concept. The truth is, there's no such thing as "half-time" or "full-time" ministry – it's a lifetime calling to share Jesus' love.

As a Christian, you're already in ministry, regardless of your profession. Your workplace is your mission field, and you have opportunities to share the gospel daily.

You don't need to be on a Sunday pulpit to minister; God has placed you strategically where you are. I'm a minister in the marketplace, and I don't wait for a specific platform to serve." My life is of ministry.

God will upgrade you; you are climbing higher. Your level is about to change! Amen.

There is no playground in front of me.
We are all running our individual races, and my desire as I run mine is to finish the race and hear my Father in heaven say, "Well done."

1 Corinthians 9:24
24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.

Serve Others!

"Good morning, Daddy. Do you want some coffee, Daddy?"
This is the first greeting and question I receive from Lwazi every morning since he learned to speak. The boy is already asking how he can be of service to me by offering me coffee.

He knows I like my coffee first thing in the morning, and as soon as I say "Yes" to the coffee, I watch him run to tell our house help, “Please make coffee for Daddy.”

This always challenges me to think: Am I also serving others? How do I serve others, or am I the only one who wants to be catered to without caring for others?

Philippians 2:3-4 (ESV) states: "Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests but also to the interests of others."

Be challenged over this weekend. Are you of service to others around you?

Psalm 127:1
Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.

Whatever you are doing for God, ask yourself, “Is this God’s plan?” Remember, if the Lord is not building the house, all your labor is in vain. You can build an entire house—life, career, church, or ministry—and yet not have any part of it built according to God’s plan.

This scripture points out that they had to labor to build it because God wasn’t in it. Get God involved in everything you do. Find out His plan first.
