MATTHEW 27:27-31
The Moment of Trial should bring Glory!
Jesus met up with a lot of trials and tribulations even before His crucifixion.He was treated as a circus perfomer, humiliated and bashed. The moments of trial are there in the life of a Christian. You can take a cue from what happened to the Son of Man. Tribulations come to us in varying forms; some are brought about through children, some from relatives and even ourselves fall into the devil's trap at times.
At these times, we at times ask whether God exists, and why He would let such happen to us. But I say to you, let the moment of trial bring glory.Jesus was spitted upon and lashed but He remained humble and silent. Let us be humble like Christ and be slow to anger even when accused of what we are not weary of.Let us not be vengeful in our doing, thereby spoiling the name of the Lord.
For God to be glorified,take a leaf from Jesus and understand that we need to face certain situations so that the power of God can be manifest in us. There is a testimony at the end of the pain.Hold on to your faith for those who wait upon the Lord will mount up with wings like eagles. Shed off the bad characteristics and God will lift you up. What trial are you facing right now?
LET THAT MOMENT OF TRIAL BRING GLORY!

LUKE 19:41-42
As Jesus is walking towards Jerusalem, he cannot help it but cry.There were a lot of evils going on in the town that overwhelmed Him. As Jesus looks at you what does He see? Does He not weep in anguish? We claim to be true soldiers of Christ but there are a lot of things we do in secret that cause the Lord to cry in sadnesss. We can hide from man but we cannot do so from God. For whatever you do in secret you will get a deserving reward.
We see in the book of John, Jesus wept because of a loss of life. Today He weeps because whilst we are still living yet we are dead. Jesus is asking you today whether what He sees in you is true.There are a lot of evils we are hiding that bring tears to His eyes.
When Jesus got to Bethsaida, He visualised an arse tied to a tree. He commanded it be brought to Him a sign of humility. There are chains satan has bound us with, Jesus is instructing that they be loosed so we can come to Him. If only you believe. The devil has no power over your life because the Master has commanded that you be released from your iniquity.
When you visualize the cross have faith that God has set you free of your troubles, that the boundaries in your life have been released and abundance beckons. Chant "Hossana, Hossana, He who comes in the name of the Lord." And Jesus will abide with you. Lay your troubles before Him and He will trample them as Jesus passes by and they will be a thing of the past.
When Jesus finally entered Jerusalem, He went into the temple and people were trading and doing all sorts of worldly things. He overturned the tables and brought sanity into the house of the Lord. He was cleansing and making holy the place of God. Likewise, our bodies are temples of the Lord. Invite Jesus to cleanse you of worldly lust and be cleansed of all wrongdoing. Let Him overturn the tables in our hearts and let us become new creations. It is time to cleanse the church of all evils.
ARE YOU READY TO BE CLEANSED?

Favorable Atmosphere
Genesis 2:8-9

We were made and put in the garden of Eden in the presence of holiness. Whatever was created, it was done with the approval and God's holy hand in it. If we walk without God,we are bound to get lost as we walk in darkness.If you take a wild animal and domesticate it, you will find that it will struggle for survival as it is exposed to an unusual environment. The power of the fish is in the water, this means that a Christian should be free to showcase their talent and express themselves in the house of the Lord. This is the environment were children of God should thrive best at.You are in the Father's house do not be hindered by the devil and his utterances.
What example are we setting in our walk?An atmosphere of prayer should be purposeful. We should know our motive when we create an atmosphere of praising God. It is to give glory to him and to invite His spirit to operate amongst us without hinderance.Connect to the right network on time to be able to talk to God. You and I know the right place to go to in order to be connected. Do not be misled.
When you talk with the Heavens,faithfully and truthfully, mountains move in your life. There are realistically a lot of afflictions in life, but knowing where to turn to will help us handle them in a godly manner. Gos speaks to us in various ways-only you know the best way of communicating with Him.
It is dangerous to have passive passengers in the church. They become a liability in gaining blessings from God.Every individual has an obligation to make the church flourish and honor be given to the Almighty. Contributing can be done in the following ways:monetary, physically-offering your time and talent, emotionally-by praying for the strentghening of the Corps.
ARE YOU IN A FAVOURABLE ATMOSPHERE WITH GOD?

LUKE 19:41-42, holiness sermon by Major V. Mkwapatira
It was palm Sunday 09 April 2017 and we were celebrating the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem as we are set to remember His cruxifiction and subsequent ressurection at Easter.

As Jesus walked towards Jerusalem, He looked at the city and He cried.The town was dorminated by a lot of evils. What does Jesus see in you when He stands at the gate of Gweru Citadel?Does He not cry when He sees you? We say we are true soldiers of God but because of our works, and the places we visit amid darkness cause Jesus to weep with sadness.

It is not the weeping caused by death like Jesus did in the book of John. It is the question He asks when He looks at us-"are you my true soldiers that I have chosen to stand before the world and represent me?"There are a lot of things hidden within ourselves that are the cause of Jesus weeping with sorrow when He sets His eyes upon us.

When He got to Bethsaida He visualized an arse that was tied and instructed that it be brought to him. There are chains that satan has bound us with to himself. Jesus has seen and has commanded them to be untied at this very moment because He wants us to come to Him. Ohhh boundless joy!

What a great sign of humility from the son of God to ride on a donkey.When you look at the cross,visualize Jesus untying the boundaries that have been set in your life.Hossana, Hossana to Him who comes in the name of the Lord.Lay your inadequacies before Him and He will step on and trample them so that they become a thing of the past.

He went into the city and found people having opened a market in the temple and trading like they did on the streets.It is there that he overturned the tables and put a halt to the direspect to the house of God.Your body is the temple of the Lord may Jesus overturn the tables of worldly lust within our hearts.Open to Him so that He may cleanse the filthiness brought about by the devil and his agents.It is time God cleanses the evils existing in the church. May God bless you this Easter and beyond!Happy Easter!!!!!

What is social media?-These are computer-mediated technologies that facilitate the creation and sharing of information, ideas, career interests and other forms of expression via virtual communities and networks.
Advantages
*Fast *Cheap * Wide coverage in a short space of time *build relations

Disadvantages
* A message sent may not be rectracted eg. watsapp
*False information is at times relayed and passed on.
*Some information may not be palatable for a group. For example news of death may be thrown on social media when some of the rellatives have not yet received the news.
*There are harmful sites that may be visited. eg p**n
*It consumes time and may kill physical relationships.i.e. it may be addictive
*Messages do not have a tone and may be misintepreted
*Love cycles may come into existence.

HOW CAN YOU PROTECT YOURSELF FROM THE MALICE OF SOCIAL MEDIA?
*Do not allow people to take your videos and photos unneccessarily. These may be misappropriated
*You should exercise self control in its use
*In as much as we live in the world,let us not be of the world
*Be careful of information that circulates, some of it is demonic and may harm you
*Do not respond to information of which you are not sure or that you have not verified to be true
*Restrict the groups that you join.Some cults are using social media to initiate people
*Let's us keep the word of God close to us. Let us share it with our families
*Block the numbers you do not know and do not accept friend requests from strangers
*Have time to verify content watched by your children and siblings.

May God guide us in our use of social media so that we do not fall into the trap and bo***ge of satan.

SUNDAY 12 MARCH 2017 HOLINESS MEETING SERMON

NO ONE CAN DISPUTE GOD'S PLAN
EXODUS 12:23, MATTHEW 26:27-28

No one knows the day or the hour so it is of importance to stand in good stead with God at all times. There is a woman who was struck by a motor vehicle as they were travelling besides the road. It is not a matter whether you pray or not, but that the Lord gives and the Lord takes.
In Exodus, we see God talking to Moses saying He remembers His covenant with the Israelites and the time to set them from the captivity of Pharoah and Egypt had arrived. Many plagues were sent to the country to try and force the Egyptians to set God's children free but Pharoah remained adamant he would not.
In the fullness of time, when God wants to do something, no matter how much satan is adamant that it will not happen, the plan of God always prevails. Has He not said and will He not do? He says He says plans to prosper us and not to destroy us. A season of breakthrough beckons to those who put their faith in Him. Believe, call out His name and it shall be done. God's time is the best time and His plan for us is better than any plan we can draft for ourselves.
He is "I am", a God of war against evil and affliction. God stands by His promise, no matter how long it takes like it did for the children of Israel, He will remember His covenant with you.He is a God who fulfills His promises and has a plan for you. If only you could keep your faith, have patience and abide by His laws.It was God's plan that we be served from our sins through the shedding of the blood of the Lamb on the cross.
Let us put on our Christian regalia at all times for the battle is at hand.Just like the blood smeared on the doors of the Israelites at passover,we need to cover ourselves with the blood of the Lamb so that when God wipes away the agents of the evil one He will passover us and our families.We need to pray so that we comprehend and fall into God's plan for our lives.
The enemy is always lurking at any opportunity to keep us captive. Through our faith and consistent calling on the almighty's name we find that no one can dispute God's plan over our lives.
May the blood of Jesus be shed over our lives so that when the devil and his agents want to enter they may meet with the almighty's holy resistance.
