Celebrating 150 years !!!

The CPCA Anglican Diocese of Central Zimbabwe Mothers' Union joined the Mothers Union World wide in celebrating it's 150 years anniversary. The celebrations were held at St Joseph's Bembe in Lower Gweru. It was a celebration indeed as the women danced,worshipped and listened to teachings and the word of God.

The theme for the 150 years Celebrations is " Lighting the way for the generations to come" The celebrations continue with the Worldwide celebrations going to be held in Durban South Africa later on in the year.

We continue to pray that the guild may continue to be impactful in our communities.

The Mothers Union Conference roars into life at St Joseph's Bembe in Lower Gweru

The Bishop Right Rvd Dr Ignatius Makumbe dedicated the borehole and water system at St Hugh's Mazinyo Mission in Gokwe. The Borehole will give water to the primary and secondary school with a total of 18 water taps installed. The sorrounding communities will also benefit from the project. The Bishop encouraged the two schools to utilise the abundant water to raise income for the institutions.

The event was attended by clergy, St Hugh's congregants, Headman Mazinyo,Area councillor, school staff and students for both schools and parents.

The borehole and water system costed approximately $22000.
