It involves cultivating daily intimacy with God through
1- prayer
2 - studying the word of God searching scriptures and meditating upon them
3 - living in obedience
4 - living the holy life
5 -prevent quenching the Holy Spirit

*-As long you are not obedient to your church and honour the man of God , it takes away the anointing*

*-Honour the anointing of your church*

:- prioritize intimacy with Jesus
- Keep Jesus first as it is the foundation of the anointing
:- live a holy and obedient life
- sin or disobedience etc can quench the Spirit
:- consistent prayer and fasting sharpens spiritual sensitivity and keeps the fire of the Holy Spirit burning
:- feed on the word of God
- regular meditation of scripture
- you are a product of God's word
:- remain humble and teachable
:- protect and increase the anointing by
1 use the gift
- Practice increases the anointing
2 stay planted and connected to the spiritual covering
- Remain planted where God has called you and remain connected to the covering
3- Hate sin , love righteousness
- Pursue righteousness
4- Keep company with fire carriers
- Surround yourself with others who are passionate about the things of God
5- prompt obedience
- obey God's leading immediately...

*Dimensions of the anointing*

1 John 2 : 27

But as for you, the anointing (the sacred appointment, the unction) which you received from Him abides [permanently] in you; [so] then you have no need that anyone should instruct you. But just as His anointing teaches you concerning everything and is true and is no falsehood, so you must abide in (live in, never depart from) Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him], just as [His anointing] has taught you [to do].

*1 The abiding anointing*
:- the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit in a believer
:- it indwells you permanently
:- sin takes away the anointing
:- *sin is missing the mark*
*2 service anointing*
:- it is the anointing to serve
:- we were served to serve
:- makes you a proper disciple
*3 dominion anointing*
:- it is the highest level of the anointing that releases great faith and miracles
:- it makes you to dominant every situation

-- anointing is the free gift though Jesus Christ
-- you can keep the anointing by :-
1 Pray and fast to align yourself with God's power
2 live in holiness
- purity and obedience
- pride is "I" in the negative
- pride is calling yourself what you are not
3 hunger for God
4 laying of hands
- anointing can be transferred by the laying of hands through impactation
