Today, at the Collen Bawn Church of Christ Lord’s Day Worship Service, we were blessed to worship together and reflect on the sermon: “Women Supporting the Advancement of the Gospel” based on Luke 8:1–3.

We thank God for the vital role women continue to play in supporting the work of the Gospel, just as seen in the ministry of Christ.

To God be all the glory! 🙏

Before the Lord, we come not in pride, but in humility—recognizing our weaknesses, acknowledging our sins, and seeking His mercy. 🙏

We are imperfect, yet His grace remains sufficient. Today, may we surrender our shortcomings, repent with sincere hearts, and ask for His forgiveness and strength to walk in righteousness.

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” – Psalm 51:10.

Lords Day Worship Reflections | Sunday 24 May 2026

The Lords Day Worship Service at Collen Bawn Church of Christ was truly a blessing. We were spiritually nourished through a powerful sermon titled, “Lessons from the Birds: Knowing God’s Time and Will” from Jeremiah 8:7, reminding us of the importance of discernment, obedience, and sensitivity to God’s divine purpose.

Brethren, let us never abandon the assembly of believers, for in worship we find spiritual strength, encouragement, and renewal for our weary souls. The enemy rejoices when believers isolate themselves, but God’s design is for His children to grow together in faith, prayer, and fellowship.

When we gather, we are reminded that we are one body in Christ, uplifting one another through burdens, trials, and victories. No matter the challenges of life, let us remain steadfast in attending worship, for every assembly is an opportunity to encounter God’s presence and receive divine nourishment. Those who remain faithful in fellowship are strengthened to stand firm, finish the race, and inherit the promises of God.
