A brief synopsis of the book
πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

*The Christian life ought to be anchored on solid foundational truths and practices beyond the ephemeral euphoric thrills of the miraculous. It is a purposeful design not a "trigger an emergency panic button" escape valve mentality. One should intentionally, consciously imbibe and religiously abide by proven tested solid principles. These should form the bedrock for the Christian faith. Strict observance of these enables the believer to weather through the tempteous storms thrown at us by the devil.. Life is like a puzzle, every piece counts*.

Prayer Point : Restoration

*Job.42.10 And the Lord turned the captivity of Job and restored his fortunes, when he prayed for his friends; also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. (AMP)*

Restoration is bringing back to the original state or better than the former glory. Restoration always precedes a time of desolation.Brethren, so much is at stake in our individual lives, in our families and the Church at large with the ongoing effects of Covid 19 and the recent events in our church. The devil has left a trail of destruction, chaos and anarchy. No doubt we need the brooding of the Holy Spirit, to restore us (Gen 1:2).
Let's pray to God to restore:

1) *Our Worship*

Ps.132.7 We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool. (KJV)

Let's pray for the restoration of corporate worship in our places of assembly. Heb 10:25

2) *Our Ways*

Prov.16.7 When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. (KJV)

Let's pray that we walk in His perfect will fully pleasing him in whatever we do. Psalms 25:4

3) *Our Wealth*

Prov.3.9 Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; (NIV)

Let's declare that our fortunes and wealth be restored so we use them to serve God. Deut 8:18

4) *Our Wellbeing*

3John.1.2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers. (AMP)

Let's us pray for all round prosperity of our soul, body & spirit including our finances. Phillipians 4:19

5) *Our Warfare*

Ps.18.34 He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. (KJV)

Brethren let's pray for the Lord to teach us to wage a good fight of faith against the onslaught of the devil and his cohorts. May He make us valiant in battle. Ephesians 6:10-17

God bless you

As we close 2021 and enter 2022 in a few days, it's important to ponder and meditate on the following thoughts.
There are basically _seven_ things that come with a new year

1) *A new year presents an opportunity for a fresh start, fresh beginning*.

It's an opportunity to start all over again, make amends, realign, repent and try again. There may be things you failed to achieve in 2021 you are presented with a chance to start all over again this time believe all things come to pass

_John.8.11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go and sin no more (KJV)_

2) *A new year births new potential*.

Potential is untapped ability and capacity in you. You can unlock that potential in the coming year and soar to greater heights. All things are possible

_Phil.4.13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (KJV)_

3) *It is a time of reflection and self introspection*.

Look at the past year see your successes and failures maybe in your personal life, family, marriage, career, business, studies, projects or ministry. Ask yourself what factors contributed to the successes and failures and come up with strategies, God- given ideas to improve and even excel.

_Ps.139.23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: (KJV)_

4) *Consider revision of strategy and your modus opendis*.

Holy Spirit the chief strategist should inspire to you new ways of doing things that are watertight. He is the fountain of all wisdom, knowledge and skills in all trades and disciplines. He knows how you can navigate your way through to your expected end. Trust Him.

_Rom.8.14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (KJV)_

5) *A heightened personal resolve*.

A firm and unshakable decision to be focused to achieve whatever it is you have as you vision. The hunger passion and urge is raised higher this coming year to be a success for Jesus. To God be the glory

_Ps.118.17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD. (KJV)_

6) *A time to envision great possibilities*.

See yourself becoming actualizing your dreams. See with the eyes of your spirit. They say to achieve the impossible you need to see the invisible. Live and walk by faith.

_Mark.9.23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. (KJV)_

7) *A new year comes new resolutions*.

Aim at something. Plans are blueprints of the future - action steps to achieve your vision. Dream big in proportion to grace allotted to you. Work out your salvation with faith and confidence

_Hab.2.2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. (KJV)_

Have a prosperous 2022

THE HOPE OF CREATION, THE WORLD AND HUMANITY IS THE REVELATION, MANIFESTATION, USHERING IN AND THE APOCALYSIS OF THE SONS OF GOD. APOCALYSIS IS AKIN TO THE EXPOSURE OF THE PARENT ROCK THROUGH SOIL EROSION. NATURALLY THE WORLD IS DESTINED FOR DECADENCE AND SELF DESTRUCTION. THE PRESERVATIVE , THE SEASONING ARE THE SONS OF GOD. NO WONDER SCRIPTURE SAYS WE ARE THE SALT OF THE EARTH. THE WORLD'S HOPE OF SALVATION, RESCUE, METIGATION AND DEVELOPMENT IS NOT ECONOMICS, EXPERTS, SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, INNOVATION OR INGENUITY. THE HOPE OF THE WORLD IS CHRIST. CHRIST IN US IS THE HOPE OF GLORY(COLOSSIANS 1:27) WHY SONS OF GOD? THEY ARE THE BEARERS OF THE ARK. THEY ARE THE CUSTODIANS OF THE HIDDEN MYSTERY. THEY ARE THE STEWARDS OF THE MANIFOLD GRACE. WHAT IS HOPE ? HOPE IS EXPECTATION OF GLORY, SPLENDOR, FULFILLMENT, DREAM REALISATION AND ULTIMATE CULMINATION TO REALITY.
HOPE IS THE ANCHOR OF OUR FAITH. IT IS THE SUBSTRATA UPON WHICH FAITH RESTS. FAITH IS THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR. FAITH IS VOID AND BASELESS WITHOUT HOPE. AND NOW ABIDES FAITH HOPE AND LOVE. HOPE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. IT CAN BE TRUSTED

*Unbelief And Obedience*

Monday, 21 June 2021

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience (Ephesians 2:2).

The word, "disobedience" in the scripture above is translated from the Greek word, "apeitheia" and it means disbelief (obstinate and rebellious); it's characteristically unbelief. So, it's referring to the children of unbelief. It describes something that's very much like the spirit of the antichrist.

2 Thessalonians 2:7 AMPC says, "For the mystery of lawlessness (that hidden principle of rebellion against constituted authority) is already at work in the world, [but it is] restrained only until he who restrains is taken out of the way." "Mystery of lawlessness" refers to rebellion; a defiant opposition to God; to be highly opposed to God's will; to God's Word.

There're people who, without even knowing why, find themselves doing the things they do, in defiance to God. That's how come you find people who say, "I just don't like Christians." If you were to ask them the reason for such hatred, they'll say, "Nothing; I just don't like them." The Bible shows us what spirit is working in such people.

1 Corinthians 2:12 talks about the spirit of the world; and it's the same spirit we read about in our opening scripture: "the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience." But thank God the Bible says that's not what we received! We received the Spirit of God and He teaches us and nurtures us in the will of the Father: "Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God" (1 Corinthians 2:12).

*Confession*

Now I've received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God that I may walk in truth and obedience. My life is Spirit-ruled and Spirit-controlled; I'm always under the sway and regulation of the Spirit. Hallelujah!

*Don't Live In Name Only*

Saturday, 12 June 2021

And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead (Revelation 3:1).

Jesus said concerning the church in Sardis, "...thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead." The church lived in name only, but was dead. It's like living in history. The death mentioned here isn't total death. It's a state where, even though there're still works and activities, there's so much apathy and "spiritlessness."

Being alive in name only isn't a good thing. Some nations and churches are like that. They have a name of a living church, or are recognised in the comity of nations, but they are dead. This can also happen to an individual, because churches and nations are made of individuals.

A worship leader, for instance, could sing and people would think he's alive, but he knows that he struggles to pray, doesn't fast, and no longer reads the Bible. God wants everyone in this position to repent. The Master's instruction to such folks is to be watchful and strengthen the things that are ready to die. That's quite interesting.

For that worship leader, it may be the singing that's ready to die and he or she doesn't know it. So fan the embers of your desire for the Lord and the things of the Spirit. Be aglow and afire for Him always. Pray often. Win souls. Study and meditate on the Word. Be watchful and strengthen these things. Be fervent in spirit, serving the Lord in truth.

*Prayer*

Dear Father, I serve you in truth, according to your Word. I remain focussed, to excel in your service. My passion for your work, and the things of the Spirit are fuelled continually by the Holy Spirit. I'm fervent in spirit, serving you with joy, and bringing glory to your precious Name. Thank you for making me eternally triumphant, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

*The Kingdom Of Heaven*

Friday, 11 June 2021

And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand (Matthew 3:2).

Matthew, in the verse above, used the term "the kingdom of heaven" as he talked about the message that John the Baptist came preaching. But when you read Mark's account, he (Mark) used the term, "the kingdom of God": "And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel" (Mark 1:15).

Anytime the writers of the Synoptic Gospels, Matthew, Mark, and Luke are reporting the same event, or discussing the same thing, and you find some form of disparities, Matthew's account is likely to be the most specific in quoting Jesus, because, among the three writers, he's the only one who heard directly from Jesus. A good example is when He used the expression "kingdom of heaven," and when He used "kingdom of God."

You might ask, "Is there a difference between the two?" Though synonymously used, both expressions are clearly different. The Kingdom of Heaven is that part of the Kingdom of God, established in the earth, and headed by Jesus. In fact, the Greek rendering is "Kingdom of the heavens," which means a kingdom from heaven.

Kingdom of God refers to the rulership of God, the dominion of God, the realm of God. The Kingdom of God is universal; it goes beyond mere territories. It goes as far as to your heartÒ€”which is why the Kingdom of God can be established in your heart. Jesus said the kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:21).

Jesus coming to establish the Kingdom of heaven means He's setting up His authority in the earth, so that He can project the Kingdom of God, like the ambassador of the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of heaven is the Embassy of the Kingdom of God. So, Jesus sets up His headquarters in the earth, and His job is to bring people into God's Kingdom.

In essence, the Kingdom of heaven has to do with the work of Jesus Christ in the earth; it's actually the extension of the Kingdom of God in the earth, headed by Jesus Christ. The Kingdom of heaven is the Church, of which we're a part. Hallelujah!

*Prayer*

Dear Father, what a life you've brought to us, and brought us into! I thank you for the Kingdom of God has been set up in my heart: the peace, the beauty, the glory, grace, and the life of God are fully functional in my spirit; expressed in and through me. I'm determined, more than ever, to tell the whole world this glorious news. The kingdom of God is here in Christ and functional now in my heart. Blessed be God!
