WORD REFLECTION
THEME: Take It To God | Bitter But Not Canceled.
Rev July | 30 August 2026 | Jeremiah 15 vs 15-21.
✅ Jeremiah was facing a difficult life. Denied by all, even his own family. Jeremiah was preaching to Judah, yet instead of receiving the word of God, they denied it whilst worshipping other gods.
✅ Jeremiah always stood for justice, justice for the poor, but corruption was the greatest enemy. So is it in our own nations, where corruption is growing. Therefore, Jeremiah went before God asking Ishe Ronda Rangu Rinopora Rinhi because people denied his word.
✅ Even some today, it might be you unogona uchichema kuti Ronda Rangu Rinopera Rinhi. Jeremiah, in his pain he went to God, and he was honest with his feelings, telling him everything. In your pain, go to God.
✅ Jeremiah felt mocked and abandoned because of his calling. So he was asking God why me? As his call caused kurwadziwa kukuru.
✅ In this all God did not disturb Jeremiah, he left him to vent out, akaburitsa shungu dzake. In life, at times, leave others to vent, vaburitse shungu dzavo in their hearts.
✅ Jeremiah aive neshungu asi he knew where to vent out. He went to God. Many they don't know where to vent. Go to God!
✅ God allowed Jeremiah to vent his strong feelings, and God allowed him, and still after, he did not rebuke him but corrected him as in his feelings God saw he was becoming lost.
✅ In your feelings, you can be lost and draw away from God. As Jeremiah did, in your feelings, go back to God!
✅ Our brothers in the diaspora, where it can be hard and difficult. I say to you, go back to God. If we go back to God, he will restore you. If you want restoration, come back to God.
✅ What did you lose mushungu dzako? Some spoke bad words neshungu and lost something, but God will restore you!
✅ Jeremiah was bitter. Are you bitter? Go back to God because bitterness will not solve anything, hasha hadzina chandzinogadzira. Bitterness destroys, I say Go back to God like Jeremiah in your bitterness. "He will help you."
✅ Beloved of God, tsamwai, be angry, and God can handle your bitterness. Can you handle it yourself? No, you can't, God is saying, "Come back to me." He will handle the bitterness for you.
✅ What God said upon your life it will just happen despite your bitterness. NeHasha dzako zvichazongoitika. So why hold on to something that will not change what God said? Jeremiah was bitter, yet God refused to cancel his calling.
✅ God is saying be renewed! God restores broken souls and hearts. In your troubles, mumatambudziko ako ask God to restore you to become the person you are supposed to be.
✅ God said to Jeremiah, "Remember your identity. And who I am." As God said this to Jeremiah, he is saying, "Remember who you are and who I am." God is not moved by your bitterness. Mwari haasundwe neHasha dzako.
Go to God. Pedza Shungu Dzako. He will Restore You.
