๐Ÿ”ฅ WHAT A CAMP! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

As we reflect on the AIM (Young Adults) Global Camp held this past weekend, our hearts are filled with gratitude for all that God did.

Lives were transformed. Hearts were healed. Friendships were built. The Word of God was preached with power and clarity. Many encountered God's presence in a fresh way with miracles, breakthrough, restoration, and renewed purpose.

We thank every young adult who attended and came with an open heart to receive from God. The camp was a reminder that God is still changing lives, calling people to Himself, and raising a generation that will stand boldly for Christ.

If you missed this edition, don't miss 2027! There is a place for you.

๐Ÿ“– "Donโ€™t let the excitement of youth cause you to forget your Creator. Honor him in your youth before you grow old and say, โ€œLife is not pleasant anymore.โ€ Ecclesiastes 12:1

Have you ever wondered why people are raising their hands in a church praise & worship service?

Here are 5 reasons why we raise our hands during praise and worship (there are plenty more):

1. It Is a Biblical Expression of Praise
The Bible repeatedly shows Godโ€™s people lifting their hands in worship as an act of praise and adoration. Psalm 134:2. Raising hands is a visible expression of honoring and magnifying God.

2. It Symbolizes Surrender to God
Lifted hands reflect humility and surrender before the Lord, acknowledging His authority and lordship over our lives. Psalm 143:6

3. It Reflects Reverence and Honor
In many cultures, raising hands is a sign of respect and honor. Biblically, it reflects reverence toward Godโ€™s greatness. Physical posture can help express inward awe and devotion. Psalm 48:1

4. It Can Bring Spiritual Unity in Corporate Worship
When believers worship together with lifted hands, it creates an atmosphere of unity and shared devotion. Revelation 19:1

5. It Is a Sign of Thanksgiving
Lifted hands can express gratitude for Godโ€™s goodness, provision, and faithfulness. Psalm 141:2 Thanksgiving should not only be spoken but also expressed sincerely.

Yes, someone may not be able to lift hands during a service due to various reasons but if you can, we encourage you to try it. Raising hands in worship is not about performance, it is about expressing love, surrender, reverence, and faith toward God. Whether quietly or passionately, worship should always flow from a sincere heart devoted to the Lord. John 4:24
