Of the six Egyptian Hallel Psalms (113-118) this was sung as part of the Passover service. It's possible Jesus sang it in Matthew 26:30, and Mark 14:26. Martin Luther devoted thirty-six pages to this shortest psalm, expounding it in four important categories: (1) *prophecy* (the Gentiles will participate in gospel blessings), (2) *revelation* (the kingdom of Christ is not earthly and temporal but rather heavenly and eternal), (3) *instruction* (we are saved by faith alone and not by works, wisdom, or holiness), and (4) *admonition* (we should praise God for such a great salvation).
Grace and mercy are universal blessings. Where the love of God is strong in the heart, the bounds of custom and racial prejudice are lept over. We all should laud God. To laud is to intentionally craft and say praiseworthy things about a person. Let your song speak prophecy, revelation, instruction and admonishing. Praise the Lord.

Focus and prioritization are more spiritual issues than physical ones. Colossians 3 reminds us of the reality of our focused spiritual lives through baptism in Christ. We were *raised with Christ.* in rising, Christ left the tomb; left the grave clothes and language of death; lived a supernatural life to do the impossible with God; focused and looked forward to heaven; and now lives sovereignly with God on the right side - and so should we as a risen community of faith. Rise up.
May you rise with Christ to a position above the problems of the world and be placed in power to make the impossible possible. You and I *can do all things with Christ who strengthens* us/me.

For a Gentile to be accepted as a Christian then, he had to first follow Jewish traditions then be baptised as a follower of Christ.
The order was disrupted and it was astonishing to everyone. If it is not surprising, it does not belong to God's doing. Before laying hands on people, they received the Holy Spirit and began speaking in tongues and magnifying the name of God. Their baptism came when they were already manifesting unique spiritual gifts.
It was God's doing. I call upon God to show in our time the astonishment of renewed identity. May God break protocol and minister to your needs today. Let the Holy Spirit fire burn among us as we receive his favour for our time. It's our season as the house of faith to astonish the world with glory.

David makes his achievements become occasions for praising God instead of praising his efforts. God had established him as king, protected him from his enemies, and had exalted his kingdom to great heights but all this did not make him become the center of praise. He accorded it all to the GRACE that had lifted him up even from the grave. God had even healed David but all this was not to turn him to self praise.
Wonderful example of praise for all times. Let's also give thanks at the remembrance of God's holy name. In Your situation find some moments to Praise the Lord.

Revelation precedes mission and commissioning. At times the direction God wants us to take, is through human programs but not for the same purpose. It is however futile to think that what we know about our religion is everything that God is to the whole world. It's better to be humble to the directing of God than to be merely religious.
With his eyes closed tight, Saul saw the light that he describes as brighter than the sun. God's light permeates even through all darkness and that is our revelation. May God open our eyes to his purpose in our time.
