[8/29, 7:30 PM] Apostle L Mundiya: James 1.2 says count it all joy when you go through diverse temptations.James was writing to people who were scattered through persecution and he is strengthening them not to loose faith in whatever they where going through.A lot of we have a tendency of loosing hope in such times like these, especially in my nation Zimbabwe some have abandoned their faith because of prevailing situations. But according to James the suffering of believers does not mean God has forsaken them,he is saying count it all Joy when you go through trying times. You might be here maybe you have been persecuted in ministry and you are thinking of abandoning your calling,my msg is do not quit yet God has a reason for whatever situation you are going through. These sufferings are meant to work something good in us,in every generation of believers, they encounter unique challenges. What is needed is the guts to stand firm.Romans 8 Paul says there is nothing that shall separate us from the love of Christ neither hardships or persecutions have no power to remove us from Christ.I encourage you to stand firm in the Lord saints
[8/29, 7:39 PM] Apostle L Mundiya: Paul is one of the Apostles who went through much sufferings but he never denounced his faith. He was beaten several times for the gospel, accused, jailed but never lost courage to proclaim Christ. Its diffrent from this generation pple are not ready to suffer for Christ. The first apostles of the Lamb went through rigorous times but yet they stood their ground. In Acts 4 after being arrested we hear them praying that God performs signs and wonders, they never prayed for persecution to stop. They found joy in suffering for the gospel.Im saying in such a season this is a stance we need to observe as believers.we the church should not hide but we should come openly to proclaim Christ
