THE BAPTISM BY THE DISCIPLES OF JESUS🤔
JOHN 4:1-2When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,(Though Jesus himself baptized not,but his disciples,) He left Judaea,and departed again into Galilee.We explained that John the Baptist began water baptism as a means to prepare the Jews through the preaching of repentance which was about changing their mind to believe on the coming Messiah and also to introduce Jesus to Israel.Therefore,water baptism was a practice in the Old Testament by John the Baptist before the death and resurrection of Christ.However,John and his disciples continued this act of water baptism after Christ had been introduced to Israel.John’s ministry was to prepare the way for Christ to come.This means that when Christ came and was introduced,John’s ministry should have ended as the last and greatest prophet of the Old Testament.John had disciples and Jesus also had disciples.There were some occasions that Jesus’ disciples saw and desired some of the activities of John and his disciples🤔One time the disciples of Jesus came to him to be taught how to pray like the disciples of John.One of the things Jesus’ disciples copied from John and his disciples was water baptism.It is recorded that when Jesus got to know that his disciples were baptizing people more than John,they left Judea to Galilee to avoid the influence of John and his disciples.It is very important to note that Jesus never baptized anybody in water throughout his ministry on earth.Jesus would have at least baptized somebody if water baptism was so important for salvation.In the early part of the church in the book of Acts,some of the practices of the Old Testament continued until they increased in knowledge before stopping them.Some of these practices were circumcision,the feast of Passover and unleavened bread,the Feast of Pentecost,water baptism,and others.Water baptism was therefore practised in the book of Acts by the early apostles but however,in the epistles,there was no mention of it being practised.Apostle Paul later said in 1Corinthians 1:17 that “For Christ sent me not to baptize,but to preach the gospel:not with wisdom of words,lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.”Apostle Paul,therefore,excluded himself from the practice of water baptism when the revelation of Christ increased.Say this with me,I have been baptized by the Holy Spirit into Christ when I believed the gospel.Read Luke 11:1,Acts 16:3,Acts 10:44-48.Dont miss tomorrow service for anything and be on time 9-1pm but tinosvika na8am for preparations including praise team.BE BLESSED FOREVERMORE

THE BAPTISM OF JESUS🤔
JOHN 1:31I myself did not know him,but the reason I came baptizing with water was that he might be revealed to Israel.We explained that water baptism is not a requirement for salvation and we also taught that the phrase “born of water” used by Jesus Christ does not mean water baptism.The water was symbolic of the Spirit,meaning the Spirit explains the water.The baptism of Jesus is one of the most difficult events for some believers.They often ask👉 "if John was baptizing people unto repentance,did Jesus need to repent🙆‍♀️?"Why did he Jesus allow John to baptize him?Hear this,John’s preaching about repentance was about the Jews changing their mind about God.They were to believe on the coming Messiah which is Christ Jesus.John also told them to produce fruit consistent with their change of mind.The message of John was to prepare the way for Christ's coming.He was to bear testimony about the light but he was not the true light.From our opening text,John emphatically revealed why he came baptizing with water.John’s baptism had a purpose and the purpose was to reveal,identify or introduce the Messiah to Israel.John said in John 1:30-31, “This is the one I meant when I said, ‘A man who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’ I myself did not know him,but the reason I came baptizing with water was that he might be revealed to Israel”.Therefore,Jesus allowed himself to be baptized by John as a means of introducing him to the nation of Israel which was to fulfil all righteousness or what the prophets had said.This was fulfilled when the Spirit descended on Christ like a dove when he was immersed in the river and a voice from heaven spoke to affirm what John said about Christ as the lamb of God.This is what made John the Baptist the greatest prophet among all the Old Testament prophets.All other prophets spoke about Christ in a prophecy or mystery.However,it was John the Baptist who introduced Christ in a person.Therefore,the ministry of John baptizing people in water was a means of preparing the mind of the Jews through preaching repentance and introduce Jesus in person to Israel,clear🤷‍♀️.Say this with me,Jesus is the lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.Read John 1:29-34,Matthew 3:1-12,John 7:37-39.BE BLESSED FOREVERMORE

THE APOSTOLIC MESSAGE💃
2 TIMOTHY 2:1-2Thou therefore,my son,be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses,the same commit thou to faithful men,who shall be able to teach others also(KJV).We have said that Christianity is apostolic and historic.We don’t invent our own messages and practices.What we preach,believe and practice is based on what was handed down to us by the foundational apostles.The foundational apostles are the apostles who were chosen by Jesus and the apostles who were approved by these chosen apostles.One such apostle approved by Peter was apostle Paul.In 2 Peter 3:15 Apostle Peter gave importance and approval to the teachings of apostle Paul “And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation;even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;” The teachings of Apostle Paul was therefore accepted as apostolic,even though he did not physically walk with Jesus Christ while on earth.Apostle Paul also raised Timothy and others.The apostles did not have different messages.What Peter,John,James,Paul and other apostles preached was the same.They all preached from the scriptures and they had the same emphasis and had the same results.The message they preached was Christ.Everything they preached was about what Christ has done in his death,burial and resurrection.They preached about the blessings of the man in Christ;what they have in Christ,who they are in Christ and what Christ can do through the believer.Apostle Paul affirmed this in 1Corithians 2:1-2 “And I,brethren,when I came to you,came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom,declaring unto you the testimony of God.For I determined not to know anything among you,save Jesus Christ,and him crucified”.His message was Christ and him crucified and that is our message also.Their focus was on Christ and his redemptive work for man.From our opening text,Apostle Paul told his spiritual son Timothy that what he has heard from him,he should commit the same to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.This is what we called copy and paste🤩.The message of the church should be one message which is Christ.Our message is not the circumstances of men no no.Our focus should not be on materialism or human politics no no.The message of the church is not how to raise millionaires who will take over governmental powers😂no.Anytime we try to shift focus from Christ to men and the world,we will be driving into error to form our own philosophical message which is not apostolic or based on Christ.The apostolic message is Christ.In Acts 5:42, “And daily in the temple,and in every house,they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ”.Christ was their message and he alone must be our message also.Our message must be Christ.Say this with me,I preach Christ and him crucified and I stick to the message of the apostles.Read 1 Corinthians 15:1-4,2Corinthians 4:5, 2 John 1:9-11.Those in Zengeza,we are meeting for our midweek service today 5-6pm.Never miss these services.BE BLESSED FOREVERMORE

WHY IT IS WRONG TO CONFESS YOUR SINS AS A BELIEVER😳
Why do believers keep confessing their sins to God when they pray knowing fully well that Jesus died for sins and offered the gift of forgiveness once and for all🤷‍♀️.Many are still confused about what Jesus actually did for them.Some people quote 1John 1: 9 as the reason for them confessing their sins to God each time they pray.So what is forgiveness? Forgiveness is NOT a reward for doing something.This means I don't get forgiveness because I pray,confess sins,ask or fast,no.Forgiveness is a GIFT!We have it already!Colossians 1:14 In whom WE HAVE REDEMPTION through his blood,EVEN THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS:Ephesians 1:7 In whom WE HAVE REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD,THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS,according to the riches of his grace;So if forgiveness is a gift,it means I do absolutely nothing to obtain it.All I can do about forgiveness is NOT to pray,ask,fast but to simply RECEIVE! Forgiveness is one of the benefits redemption provided.Romans 4:8(NIV) says "blessed is the man whose SIN the Lord WILL NEVER COUNT AGAINST THEM"Now if the Lord NEVER counts your sin,then that's grace and the Christian is under grace!Grace is the cure for sin.The more there is sin,there is MUCH MORE grace.Take note of the "much more"👉Romans 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.But should a christian go about practicing sin because grace abounds? God forbid!( Rom 6:1.)If a Christian behaves that way,then he is yet to come to the knowledge of who he is in Christ👉He has a problem.A Christian does not PRACTICE sin.Yes he may fall into sin but he does NOT practice sin.When he falls into sin,he RECEIVES forgiveness.God is not going to forgive him no but God has forgiven him already!So all he does is to receive the forgiveness that God has provided.God has forgiven every sin the Christian would ever commit.God is NOT going to forgive him,God is NOT about to forgive him,GOD HAS FORGIVEN HIM ALREADY both yesterday's sin,today's sin and future sins!Jesus didn't die for sin on installment.He died ONCE AND FOR ALL,yesterday's sin,today's sins and future sins ( Heb 10:10;12,Rom 6 vs 10 NIV).All the Christian does is to receive what is already provided and give thanks as praying for what is already provided is total ignorance.Take advantage of this grace God has provided 2Tim 2: 1.Salvation is too big for the ordinary mind to understand,no wonder the bible calls it "SO GREAT A SALVATION" (Heb 2:3)In the new testament,we DONT confess because we want God to forgive us but rather we confess because WE HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN ALREADY!And to confess here has nothing to do with confessing sin.The word "confess" is the greek word "Homologia".It means to say or agree with what has been said.So what has God said concerning your sins?He said NO CONDEMNATION(Rom 8:1) So what are you to confess?👉No condemnation!What again did God say?He says you are righteous ( 1Cor 1:30, 2Cor 5:21).So what are you to confess?👉Righteousness of course! STATEMENTS YOU SHOULD NOT MAKE AS A NEW CREATION
The year of greater Glory🙆‍♀️We are slowly removing the veil clothed on our hearts by religious men and women day by day.One of the terms mostly used as a theme for the year or for the month is👉greater glory.These themes are used to motivate people and to keep them in slavery,yet nothing changes in their life,and nothing good will happen until you remove yourself from that religious thinking.Some ministers will say, the Lord gave me a theme for the year,and the theme is, the year of prosperity, the year of favor, the year of greater grace etc.They are just playing with your mind because of your ignorance.Every theme God wanted to give us,He already did through His son Jesus Christ.Whatsoever you want to hear is already done and recorded in His word.His word is His finished work.Whatsoever God wants to do in your life; He has already finished it.The manifestation takes process,so nothing is new.The seal has already been broken,and the revelation is revealed,and he is Christ in us.So all you need is already in Christ.Nothing is new to us because the Lord has already revealed to us through Christ.Now,greater glory does not come by months or by years.Do not be deceived,greater glory does not come on birthdays.The glory already came and he is in you.The glory of God is not a car,a house,a marriage or any of the material things.The glory of God is in you,and he is Christ.You received him the day you received the gospel.The only theme we were waiting for, that was hidden for ages,is Christ,and now God has already revealed it.That is why the Bible says like this👉Colossians 1:26‭-‬27 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations,but now is made manifest to his saints:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles;WHICH IS CHRIST IN YOU,THE HOPE OF GLORY:If you want to increase in this glory who is Christ,it is according to knowledge not according to a new year or a new month.If you want to increase in His favor,it is according to the accurate knowledge of the gospel,and not according to a new year,a new chuch or a birthday.Get rid of religious nonsense.The increasing of His glory in your life is not by yearly or monthly prophesy or by a church theme,it is according to how you grow in knowledge yourself.Grace,favor, etc only increase or multiple in your life based on your knowledge,and not based on new year or new month or your birthday.How long will you be blinded by religious manipulations?2 Peter 1:2‭-‬3 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD,AND OF JESUS OUR LORD,3 According as his divine power hath given unto us ALL THINGS that pertain unto life and godliness,THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIM THAT HAS CALLED US TO GLORY AND VIRTUE:How long will you still be in religion?How long will you allow yourself to be fooled by Church themes?Everything has already been given to us.There is nothing new yet to be revealed.Get yourself in accurate knowledge of Christ like this and manifest all things.All you need to do,is to sit yourself down and learn the gospel.That is how things will increase for you.Church themes cannot help you.Yearly or monthly themes cannot help you but sitting down to grow in knowledge will help you.The year of this and that are all religious themes to deceive you.They are all motivational themes that will never help you.Sit yourself down and increase in knowledge,and all things will increase in your life.Say no to religious themes this year because if you focus on them without sitting down to work on yourself with knowledge,another year will come,and you will remain the same.Your increase is in knowledge,not in a new year,or month or whatsoever.Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth;but thou shalt meditate therein day and night,that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein:for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous,and then thou shalt have good success.Stay knowledgeable and say no to religion.Throw all of them into the dustbin🚮and let your mind be filled with nothing but Christ,and Christ is not a theme,he is life to behold in the word of truth👏BE BLESSED FOREVERMORE.HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL,ENJOY GRACE

THE SIGNATURE OF THE FATHER IS IN CHRIST!
2Tim.3:15-16 ‘And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures,which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.All scripture is given by inspiration of God,and is profitable for doctrine,for reproof,for correction,for instruction in righteousness:’The word ‘wise’ is from the Greek word ‘sophizō’, which originates from the word ‘sophia’ and it is translated as ‘skillful.’Accordingly,this portion of scripture can be interpreted to mean that,the scriptures are able to make one skillful.Skillful in what🤔?Skillful in the subject of salvation and salvation is faith in what Christ has done.All scripture is given by the inspiration of God.Originally interpreted as ‘divinely breathed by God’.If all scripture is inspired by God,why speak against ‘anointing oil’ or call oneself a ‘New Testament minister’?WHAT IS THE INSPIRATION THEN?👉Scripture here is from the Greek word ‘graphē’ which means ‘writing’.We can therefore interpret ‘All scripture is given by the inspiration of God’ to mean that,the inspiration for the documentation of scripture is God.That is to say,though God inspired the documentation,He is not behind all activities documented🔥.For instance,He is not behind Adam’s fall to temptation or the serpent deceiving Eve🤔.This is the reason scripture must be explained or rightly divide.The profitability of scripture will come from thorough teaching and explanation,which will then bring reproof.Reproof here means evidence,or conviction about the subject of salvation.In understanding salvation,one must understand that it is not a thing,but a person.A person you cannot lose.Once a person has believed in the Gospel,God has put His signature upon Him.You are in Christ after you believed and not after you started behaving well.Therefore salvation is a result of Christ in you,that is the Spirit of God in you.That same spirit in you is your guarantor and guarantee;or the collateral for your salvation.This is the guarantee that you are eternally saved.John 10:28-30 And I give unto them eternal life;and they shall never perish,neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.[29]My Father,which gave them me,is greater than all;and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.[30]I and my Father are one.The Spirit of God in you is the seal that guarantees you for rapture.Rapture is not a flight but a changing of your body:immortality swallowing up mortality.This is the reality of the believer in Christ,and what separates us from the unbelievers.If the unbeliever could access what we have then there would be no need for us to be born again,but the reason why we are saved is because we have rights and privileges exclusive to sons.Ephesians 1:1-3 PAUL,AN apostle (special messenger) of Christ Jesus (the Messiah),by the divine will (the purpose and the choice of God) to the saints (the consecrated,set-apart ones) at Ephesus who are also faithful and loyal and steadfast in Christ Jesus:[2]May grace (God's unmerited favor) and spiritual peace [which means peace with God and harmony, unity, and undisturbedness] be yours from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.[3]May blessing (praise, laudation, and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm!Unbelievers have no access to these blessings,for it is in the heavenly places.In Christ we have received the blessing that:We are chosen👉We are blameless before God in Christ Jesus,no spot,no wrinkle,no blemish,no scar or shame👉We are not an afterthought or mistake.He purposed to birth us as sons in Christ Jesus.Titus 1:1-2 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ,according to the faith of God's elect,and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;[2]In hope of eternal life,which God,that cannot lie,promised before the world began;For before the world began,it was God’s plan that you would be a son in Christ.The death of Jesus was not an afterthought or emergency plan,No, it was THE REAL PLAN.The plan was for Jesus to mass produce Himself and for that to happen,he had to die that we would become sons through His resurrection.BE BLESSED FOREVERMORE

Hear this👉When a man knows the spirit of truth in God's word,challenges become a way of showing how small problems can be.Apostle Paul and Silas in prison but where still praising God.They were not praising God for God to release them from jail,No.That's why even when the prison doors were opened by Angels,Paul and Silas didn't escape🤔.They were praising God because of the joy that salvation brings.Once you understand the joy of salvation,you will be in prison yet you are free and those who locked you up are instead the ones in prison💃.No prison is greater than bieng in the prison of sin and death🙆‍♀️Jesus Christ came and paid the price for humanity's release from sin and death,and once you believe in his resurrection,you are automatically free and can never taste death.There is no problem greater than sin and death.When you know that you have been delivered from sin and death,every problem or challenge become what makes you rejoice💃If as a Christian you still go into depression, it's because you haven't known what it means to be born again.John 16:32 Behold,the hour cometh,yea,is now come,that ye shall be scattered,every man to his own,and shall leave me alone:and yet I am not alone,because the Father is with me.They all left Jesus Christ,but God was still with Him.This is the worst moment in life,when people leave you,especially your very close friends and family.They all left Jesus Christ but Jesus Christ was not alone.God in Christ forever so are they who are born again,we are not alone nomatter who abandons us.John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you,that in me ye might have peace.In the world ye shall have tribulation:but be of good cheer;I have overcome the world.In Christ we have peace over any challenge that could come our way.Christ has defeated the mother and father of all challenges or problems which is sin and death.Do you know without sin and death,satan and demons can't work on this Earth🤔Think about it!Maswerasei👏👏👏
