Good morning family Seeking God #2

"One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple." Psalm 27:4 (NIV)

In Psalm 27:4, King David expresses his deep longing to dwell in the presence of the Lord and to seek Him above all else. This verse beautifully captures the essence of making God a priority in our lives. In the hustle and bustle of our daily routines, it's easy to lose sight of what truly matters.

We often find ourselves consumed by the demands of work, family, and various responsibilities, relegating our relationship with God to the sidelines. Seeking God involves intentionally carving out time for prayer, studying His Word, and cultivating a deep and intimate relationship with Him. Just as David longed to dwell in the house of the Lord, we too are called to create space in our lives where we can dwell in His presence, meditate on His goodness, and seek His face earnestly.

Good morning family
Seeking God #1

"You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water." Psalm 63:1 (NIV),

Welcome to a new week. A new month is already knocking at our doors. How fast. Today’s verse beautifully shows the deep longing and earnest desire for a close and intimate relationship with God. It portrays a sense of spiritual hunger and thirst that goes beyond physical needs, demonstrating a profound yearning for the presence of God in one's life. To seek God earnestly implies a deliberate and persistent pursuit of a deeper connection with Him, acknowledging that true fulfillment and satisfaction are found in God alone.

The imagery of a dry and parched land where there is no water vividly portrays the spiritual desolation and emptiness that can be experienced when one feels distant from God. This verse reminds us that in the midst of life's challenges and in the face of spiritual dryness, our ultimate source of sustenance and renewal is found in God. Psalm 63:1 serves as a powerful invitation to seek God wholeheartedly, acknowledging that our deepest longings can only be satisfied in the presence of the Almighty. May you as His child be found in this mode. Seeking God unreservedly and deeply pushing for a meaningful connection with Him in 2024.

If you judge yourself you wont be judged. It is easy to take offence when others judge you. In any situation consider your view point, another person's view, the view of others and above all God's view of the situation.
