WELCOME TO Day 4 of 14
KEEP PRESSING ON: PRAYING AND FASTING FOR ABUNDANT LIFE
Time 00:00-12 noon
John 10:10 📌
“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
*Devotional*
There are seasons in life when the journey feels difficult, prayers seem delayed, and strength begins to fade. Yet, God calls us not to give up but to keep pressing on.
Prayer and fasting are not ways of forcing God to give us what we want. They are ways of drawing closer to Him, surrendering our desires, strengthening our faith, and seeking His will. When we fast, we remind ourselves that our greatest need is not merely material blessings, but the presence and power of God.
Jesus promised us abundant life ISnot a life without challenges, but a life filled with His presence, purpose, peace, grace, and strength. Sometimes the breakthrough we are praying for may take time. That does not mean God has forgotten us.
Keep praying. Keep fasting. Keep believing. Keep walking. Keep soldering on.
Your present struggle is not the end of your story. God is still working, even when you cannot see what He is doing. Every prayer offered in faith is an expression of trust in Him.
As you continue this journey, don't measure God's faithfulness by how quickly circumstances change. Measure it by His character and His promises. God is faithful.
I Encourage You
Today, set aside dedicated time to pray and seek God. If you are able and it is appropriate for you, combine your prayer with fasting according to your circumstances.
During your time of prayer:
Surrender your worries and burdens to God.
Ask Him to renew your spiritual strength.
Pray for wisdom and direction for your life.
Thank Him for what He has already done.
Continue praying for the breakthrough you are trusting Him for.
When you feel discouraged, remind yourself of God's promises rather than focusing only on your circumstances.
Remember: fasting changes our focus before it changes our circumstances.
Declarations
• I declare that I will not give up. I will keep praying, believing, and moving forward because God is my strength.
•I declare that the abundant life Jesus promised is working in me. I receive His peace, grace, strength, wisdom, and purpose.
•I declare that delays will not destroy my faith. Even when I cannot see the answer, I trust that God is working behind the scenes.
• I declare that I will finish the journey God has placed before me. I will keep soldering on, knowing that my God is faithful and His promises will never fail.
*Reflection*
What is one area of my life where God is asking me to keep praying, fasting, trusting, and pressing forward rather than giving up?
*Prayer*
Heavenly Father,Thank You for the gift of abundant life through Jesus Christ. Strengthen everyone who is praying and fasting today. When they become tired, renew their strength. When they become discouraged, restore their hope. When the answer seems delayed, help them continue trusting You.
Give them grace to keep moving forward and faith to believe Your promises. May their prayer and fasting draw them closer to You and transform their hearts. Let Your peace, purpose, strength, and abundant life fill them.
In the name of Jesus Amen.
