: Legendary actress Leleti Khumalo-Khanyile has disclosed that she avoids kissing scenes in her roles due to her husband Skhuthazo Khanyile's preferences.

Interview with Daily Sun , Leleti (54) said her refusal to perform kissing scenes was a key reason why she wasn't recast in the popular series, Generations.

Leleti urged the graduates to remain true to their principles and wait for the right opportunities rather than compromise their comfort.

“I’m married, and my husband made it clear that kissing another man is a no. It's part of the craft. As you progress, there will come a time when you can dictate your terms. If something doesn't suit you, you have the right to walk away," she explained

“On Generations, they said they wouldn't write for me anymore because I don’t do kissing scenes, and I chose to say goodbye. Just because there are many productions doesn't mean you should accept everything that comes your way," she said.
