The Cross gave mankind two segments of light.
1. Provision for all our needs both physical and spiritual. Romans 8:32
2. Victory over all the enemies of God. Ephesians 2:14 and 15.
The Cross is the Love of God how man who committed treason against his Father in Eden was reconciled to the Maker. God canceled the debt by the blood of the covenant with a decree - It is finished, tetelestai. John 19 :30.
Then through Death of the cross, Satan and all his minions were disarmed and rendered useless as Paul says in Ephesians in the quoted scripture. The darkness of the world under the rulership of the devil was brought to an end. Hebrews 2:14. In the resurrection God confirmed the decree of the cross as sons where born in the new man Christ who is our prototype of makind. The ascension to the Throne sealed the decree of the cross with an Oath-"By Me every knee shall bow" Isaiah 45:23. So now we reign under this Oath on the Throne with Christ. Ephesians 2:6. Together with him in the heavenly places. Now we reign. Revelation 5:10. "He has made us kings and priests and we shall reign on the earth." This is the gospel of the kingdom. The Divine purpose of of God for man is to reign on the earth. " Let them have Dominion over all.... the earth. Genesis 1:26. The purpose of man is not to escape to heaven running from suffering no. But reign on the earth. That is the Will of God for Man. So reign now. Romans 5 :17." Those who have received the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness reign in life by one Jesus Christ." Reign now.
