Good morning students, staff, and the entire family of Chiredzi Christian College.

As we come to the end of another week, I want to remind you of one important truth:

Your future is being built by the small choices you make every day.

Success is not created only on examination day. Character is not built only when people are watching. Greatness is formed quietly — in your discipline, your attitude, your honesty, your respect for others, and your willingness to keep going even when life becomes difficult.

Many young people give up too early because they compare themselves with others. But remember this: A mango tree and a maize plant do not grow at the same speed — yet both fulfill their purpose. Do not despise your process. Your time will come.

Some of you may feel tired, discouraged, or pressured by academics, family situations, friendships, or personal struggles. But I encourage you today: Do not lose heart. Every challenge you overcome is preparing you for a stronger tomorrow.

The Bible says in Galatians 6:9 “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

So as you enter this weekend:
Choose integrity over shortcuts.
Choose kindness over bullying.
Choose focus over distractions.
Choose prayer over panic.
Choose purpose over peer pressure.

You are not here by accident. God placed potential inside each one of you. Your background does not limit your destiny. Your mistakes do not define your future. What matters is your willingness to rise again and keep moving forward.

Walk with confidence. Study with commitment. Respect yourselves and others. And never forget that excellence begins with self-discipline.

May this Friday end with peace in your hearts, wisdom in your decisions, and hope for the future.

God bless you all.

Welcome Back to Term 2

As we begin a new school term at Chiredzi Christian College, let us embrace this season with renewed strength, discipline, and determination. Term 2 is another opportunity to grow academically, spiritually, and personally. Success does not come by chance, but through hard work, consistency, prayer, and a positive attitude.

To all our students: believe in yourselves and never underestimate your potential. Every lesson learned, every assignment completed, and every challenge overcome is shaping your future. Stay focused on your goals, respect your teachers and fellow students, and continue to uphold the Christian values that define our school.

Remember Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” With God’s guidance, commitment, and unity, this term can be fruitful and successful for us all.

Wishing all students, teachers, and staff a blessed, productive, and successful Term 2

A Fresh Start with Intentional Direction

📖 Proverbs 16:3 “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”

The beginning of a school term represents more than a continuation of academic activity—it is an opportunity for reset, recalibration, and intentional growth. This verse emphasizes commitment as the starting point for success. To “commit” means to entrust fully, aligning one’s plans with God’s guidance rather than relying solely on personal effort. For students, this includes academic goals, behavior, relationships, and personal development.

From an educational and developmental perspective, beginnings are critical because they set patterns that often persist throughout the term. Habits formed early—discipline, focus, time management—tend to determine outcomes. Spiritually, inviting God into these plans provides structure, clarity, and direction. It shifts the focus from anxiety about performance to trust in guidance. Establishment here does not mean absence of challenges, but stability in direction and purpose despite them.

Application:
Start this term intentionally. Set clear goals and commit them to God, inviting Him into every aspect of your academic journey.

🙏 Lord, guide me as I begin this new school term. Establish my plans and help me stay focused and disciplined. Amen.

Don’t Trade Your Soul for Popularity
As we begin this new week, remember this truth: not everything that is popular is right, and not everything that is right is popular.

In a world where many are chasing attention, likes, and approval, it’s easy to lose yourself trying to fit in. But listen carefully—your value is not determined by how many people accept you, but by who you are before God.
The Bible asks a powerful question in Mark 8:36:
“What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, yet lose his soul?”

You may be tempted this week:
To follow the crowd instead of standing for truth
To compromise your values just to belong
To choose popularity over character
But remember—popularity is temporary, character is eternal.

Think of Daniel. He refused to compromise, even when it was unpopular. He stood firm in his faith, and God honored him. While others chased acceptance, Daniel chose obedience—and that made all the difference.

Students, choose wisely this week:
Choose integrity over influence
Choose purpose over pressure
Choose God over the crowd

Because at the end of the day, it’s better to stand alone with God than to stand with a crowd without Him.

👉 Walk into this week with confidence, knowing that you are called to be different, not to fit in, but to stand out for what is right.

Have a blessed and purposeful week ahead.

20/03/2026

As we come to the end of this week at Chiredzi Christian College, remember this: your attitude shapes your life. No matter what challenges you faced, choose to remain positive. A positive mind sees opportunities where others see problems.

The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:8 to think about whatever is true, noble, right, pure, and praiseworthy. When you focus on such things, your heart stays strong and your spirit remains lifted.

Do not carry the stress of this week into the next. Learn from it, grow from it, and move forward with hope. Every new day is a fresh chance to do better, to be better, and to shine brighter.
Go into the weekend with joy, gratitude, and a positive mindset—because greater things are ahead.

Choose What Is Right
Every day we make choices. Some are easy, others are difficult. But the Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5–6 to trust in the Lord and He will direct our paths. Always choose what is right, even when no one is watching.

As we begin this new week at Chiredzi Christian College, let us remember that every new week is a gift from God and an opportunity to grow, learn, and become better people.

The Bible reminds us in Colossians 3:23, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord and not for men.” This means that when we study, attend classes, write assignments, or help others, we are not just doing it for teachers or parents—we are doing it for God’s glory.

Students, let this week be a week of discipline, integrity, and determination. Avoid the distractions that can pull you away from your purpose. Choose what is right even when it is difficult. Remember that great futures are built by small daily choices.

Teachers and staff, your dedication is shaping the next generation. Your patience, wisdom, and guidance are planting seeds that will produce great leaders in the future.

Let us also remember that the theme of life as Christians is not just success, but character. God is more interested in who we become than simply what we achieve.
So as we start this week:
• Study with diligence
• Speak with kindness
• Walk in integrity
• Trust God in everything
May the Lord guide your minds, strengthen your hearts, and bless the work of your hands.
Have a blessed, productive, and God-honouring week.
