Grace, Generosity and Unity Define Rutanhira Circuit's Mega Fundraising Success
RUTANHIRA – Rutanhira Circuit celebrated a landmark achievement as its Mega Fundraising Day drew an impressive gathering of church members, community leaders, business executives, and distinguished guests, united in support of the Church's mission. The event reflected a powerful spirit of faith, generosity, and partnership, resulting in a highly successful fundraising initiative.
The Mega Fundraising Day was organised to mobilise resources for key developmental projects within the Circuit. Funds raised will go towards the drilling and installation of a borehole, the installation of a solar power system, the renovation of the Circuit Manse, and other developmental initiatives aimed at strengthening the Church's ministry and improving its service to the community.
The day was characterised by overwhelming support from individuals, families, organisations, and well-wishers who gave generously towards the mission of the Church. Church leaders expressed profound gratitude to everyone whose prayers, financial contributions, attendance, and unwavering commitment made the event a memorable success.
Delivering the day's sermon, Guest Preacher Rev. S. Makwara inspired the congregation with a powerful message titled "When Grace Locates You," drawn from Nehemiah 2. He challenged believers to trust in God's divine favour, emphasising that when God's grace locates a person, barriers are broken, doors are opened, and extraordinary opportunities emerge to fulfil God's purpose.
The occasion was further dignified by the presence of the Guest of Honour, Hon. F. T. Mhona, who attended together with his family. His participation underscored the importance of collaboration between the Church and the wider community. His generous support and words of encouragement were warmly received by all in attendance and contributed significantly to the success of the fundraising event.
Also present was Mr. W. Makonese, proprietor of Makonese Farm, Wiltshire, and Chief Executive Officer of W2 Industries. His presence and generous contribution were greatly appreciated, reflecting his continued commitment to supporting community and faith-based initiatives.
Rutanhira Circuit also extended sincere appreciation to all sponsors, donors, volunteers, church leaders, and members whose tireless efforts ensured the smooth organisation and success of the fundraising event.
