The Price That We Pay For Truth | Richard Langworthy | 30 August 2026

Pastor Richard opened by saying that if we are to stand for truth as the children of God, there is a price that we have to pay. Nowadays, there is so much compromise in the church; people claim to be serving the Lord, yet they are living lives that do not honour the Lord. We need to understand that God is not found where there is no truth. The enemy’s strategy is to dilute the truth and put the gospel off-centre just enough to deceive people.

​We cannot put the gospel and the wisdom of man in one category; we have to choose one. When we try to mix the two, the gospel will become an offence to us. When the truth of the gospel comes, it’s a clear line, and there is a price to be paid for it. That clear line means that there is a separation from the world. In other words, it means we cannot continue doing what we used to do before we got saved.

​Pastor Richard concluded by saying that when we choose to follow Christ, there needs to be a genuine repentance from our hearts. Repentance is not something we say with our mouths, but it’s something that comes from deep within, and its fruits should be seen by the way we live. God’s truth will make us walk in ways that are contrary to those of the world. We cannot separate the truth from the Word of God.

DAY 4 | SOUTHERN AFRICA REGIONAL YOUTH CAMP 🔥

Day 4 of the Southern Africa Regional Youth Camp was a jam-packed day filled with powerful ministry, fellowship, fun and unforgettable moments! 🙌🏽

The day began with a morning meeting taken by Pastor Levy Masuku, who shared the testimony of his life, encouraging the youth through his personal journey and the faithfulness of God.

This was followed by family time, giving everyone an opportunity to connect, share and enjoy fellowship together. The final evening meeting was taken by Pastor Timothy McKenzie, who encouraged the youth that it is never too late to turn to God. Though it was the last night, camp was not over yet; there was still an opportunity to respond to God and make a turning point. ✝️🔥 The day ended with a braai and prize-giving ceremony to celebrate the games and recognise the winners! 🏆🔥🍖

What a powerful and memorable final full day of camp!

The Lord’s Heart to Set Us Free | 23 August 2026 | Mthulisi Mlingwa

Pastor Mthulisi began his sermon by saying that the reason the Lord died on the cross was for our freedom, not for Christians to remain bound and stuck in the same state. Sometimes we forget. We can call ourselves Christians while still hiding things in our hearts that we haven’t allowed the Lord to touch. As a result, we become crippled in our service to Him. When our hearts and our lives are not clear, we hide, and that is an attribute of sin. Sometimes, when we find ourselves in a confrontational situation, we so easily begin to justify ourselves.

He continued by saying that many of us are serving the Lord, but we still have things we have not allowed Him to deal with in our lives. If we do not see the need for the Lord to deal with them, we will eventually face problems.The beginning of our freedom comes from acknowledging our true state and realising that our flesh is deceitful. The problem is that we don’t want the Lord to change us, but we want Him to change our circumstances; that shows the selfish nature of man.

He warned the church that pride makes us resist the ways of God. When the Lord puts us in situations that expose our pride, it is not to embarrass us but to set us free. The Lord desires truth in the inward parts, yet some of us hide behind our works or outward character. For us to be able to lead, we need to let the Lord deal with us. We can say the right words, but if our hearts are not well, it can be felt, because the language of the heart is louder than the language of words.

In closing, he highlighted that we need to stop justifying ourselves and allow God to set us free because that is the Lord’s heart and desire for us.

DAY 3 | SOUTHERN AFRICA REGIONAL YOUTH CAMP 🔥

Day 3 of the Southern Africa Regional Youth Camp was monumental. Pastor Leon Vismer began the day with a workshop on AI and navigating the influence of the internet and social media; bring awareness to the young people; followed by team family time.

The afternoon brought plenty of excitement with games and activities, giving everyone an opportunity to connect, have fun and build fellowship. 🏃🏽‍♂️⚽️🔥

In the evening Pastor Mthulisi Mlingwa began by reminding us that we all need Jesus and challenged the youth to follow the voice of the Holy Spirit rather than our flesh. ✝️🔥

DAY 2 | SOUTHERN AFRICA REGIONAL YOUTH CAMP 🔥

Day 2 of the Southern Africa Regional Youth Camp was filled with learning, fellowship, fun and powerful moments in God’s presence! 🙌🏽

The morning began with a workshop on drugs led by Pastor Noah Makoni, equipping the youth with important truths about the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of making godly choices.

The afternoon brought plenty of excitement with games and activities, giving everyone an opportunity to connect, have fun and build fellowship. 🏃🏽‍♂️⚽️🔥

The day ended with a powerful evening meeting as Pastor Levy Masuku shared on the camp theme, “Turning Point.” He challenged the youth to prepare for the return of the Lord, turn their hearts truly towards Him, and commit themselves to living a Christian life rather than being religious. ✝️🔥

Day 2 was a reminder that every young person has a choice to make.

Knowing God as Our Father | 16 August 2026 | Richard Langworthy

Pastor Richard opened by speaking about how many young people come from homes where the role of the father has not been clearly understood. He explained that although we may have men in society, we do not necessarily have men who fulfil the role of fathers, and this can cloud our understanding of God as our Father. He went on to unpack God’s love as a Father while emphasising His holiness and the obedience required to walk with Him. He encouraged us that although God is holy and worthy of reverence, we can approach Him at any time.

Pastor Richard went on to explain that God’s love does not mean we can live however we want. God desires a relationship where we willingly choose to follow and serve Him. His grace cannot be earned, and His love is not dependent on our performance or how we compare ourselves to others but God deals with each of us individually and uniquely.
He went on to explain that God’s will for us is to grow in obedience and sanctification, but He still gives us the freedom to choose. We can choose God’s plan or choose our independence, pride and fleshly desire to live according to our own terms. When we rebel and make a mess of our lives, He does not stop loving us; He waits for us to return in repentance.

Finally, Pastor Richard spoke about the consequences of sin. Even when God forgives us and receives us back, forgiveness does not always remove the consequences of our choices. Yet God does not abandon us. We have a Father and the Holy Spirit who speaks, guides, warns and provides boundaries for our protection. God has a purpose for our lives and desires our willingness to give Him our hearts and live in obedience to Him. Knowing God as our Father means understanding both His love and His holiness: we can approach Him freely because He is our Father, but we must also respect Him, listen to Him and obey Him.
