THE ABSOLUTE NECESSITY OF THE GOSPEL

Introduction: The gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is God's power for salvation and the supreme message entrusted to His people. Proclaiming it is not merely a privilege but a sacred stewardship and a divine necessity. Like the Apostle Paul, we are compelled by the love of God in our heart (Matthew 22: 37-38) to faithfully declare the life-saving gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ until every opportunity has been exhausted according the sovereign determination of God the Father (Matthew 24: 14; Acts 1: 6-8). Let us, therefore, boldly affirm our commitment to this holy calling through the following seven declarations of faith.

Faith Declarations:
1) I declare that I shall boldly proclaim the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, for it is written: "For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!" (1 Corinthians 9: 16, NKJV)

2) I declare that I shall never be ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God the Father unto eternal salvation, for it is written: "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes." (Romans 1: 16, NKJV)

3) I declare that I shall faithfully fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ wherever God sends me, for it is written: "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you." (Matthew 28: 19–20, NKJV)

4) I declare that the Holy Spirit shall empower me to be an effective witness of the Lord Jesus Christ, for it is written: "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1: 8, NKJV)

5) I declare that the Word of God shall accomplish His saving purpose through my faithful witness unto Christ until I complete my earthly course, for it is written: "'So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.'" (Isaiah 55: 11, NKJV)

6) I declare that God shall continually open doors for the proclamation of the gospel of His kingdom and grant me boldness to make the Lord Jesus Christ known, for it is written: "Meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ." (Colossians 4: 3, NKJV)

7) I declare that I shall remain faithful to the ministry of the gospel until I have finished my earthly assignment with joy, for it is written: "But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God." (Acts 20: 24, NKJV)

Closing Declaration: I declare that the necessity of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ shall continually burn within my heart. I shall proclaim the Lord Jesus Christ with boldness, compassion, wisdom, and unwavering faithfulness. Neither fear, opposition, persecution, nor hardship shall silence my witness. By the grace of God, I shall faithfully fulfill my calling as an ambassador of Christ until the whole counsel of the Almighty God has been declared and my race has been completed to His glory. In the glorious name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

GOD: THE FATHER OF SHINING LIGHTS

Introduction: God the Father is the eternal Source of all true light. Every good and perfect gift proceeds from Him, and in Him there is no darkness, shadow, or change. As His children on earth, we are called to walk in His light, reflect His glory, and shine in a dark world through the Lord Jesus Christ. Let us boldly declare His precious and noble promises over our lives.

1) I declare that God, the Father of lights, shall continually illuminate my path with His wisdom and truth, for it is written: "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning." (James 1: 17, NKJV)

2) I decree that I shall walk in the light of God's presence and shall not stumble in the darkness of this world, for it is written: "Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path." (Psalm 119: 105, NKJV)

3) I declare that the glory of God shall shine upon my life and make me a witness of His greatness, for it is written: "Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you." (Isaiah 60: 1, NKJV)

4) I declare that the Father shall deliver me from every work of darkness and establish me in the Kingdom of His beloved Son, for it is written: "He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love." (Colossians 1: 13, NKJV)

5) I declare that I shall shine as a light in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation by faithfully holding fast the word of life, for it is written: "That you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world." (Philippians 2: 15, NKJV)

6) I declare that the Father shall fill my heart with the knowledge of His glory as revealed through the Lord Jesus Christ, for it is written: "For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." (2 Corinthians 4: 6, NKJV)

7) I declare that I shall walk continually in fellowship with God, the Father of shining lights, and His light shall overcome every darkness before me, for it is written: "But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin." (1 John 1: 7, NKJV)

Closing Declaration: I declare that God, the Father of shining lights, is my everlasting Light and my unfailing Source of wisdom, holiness, truth, and life. His light shall guide my steps, expose every work of darkness, strengthen my faith, and cause me to reflect His glorious character. I shall walk as a child of light, faithfully glorifying my heavenly Father until the glorious appearing of the Lord Jesus. In the wonderful name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

GOD'S UNMISTAKABLE CALL!

Introduction: When God calls, His voice is clear, His purpose is certain, and His grace is sufficient. His call is not based on human ability or skill but on His sovereign will, purpose, and faithfulness. Those whom He calls, He equips, preserves, and empowers to accomplish His divine purpose. Let us boldly declare His promises over our lives anchored on an unshakeable faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Prophetic Declarations:

2) I declare that God's calling upon my life is irrevocable, and He shall faithfully accomplish His purpose in me, for it is written: "For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable." (Romans 11: 29, NKJV)

3) I declare that holy Father God has chosen and appointed me to bear lasting fruit for His eternal Kingdom, for it is written: "You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain." (John 15: 16, NKJV)

4) I declare that the Almighty God shall direct all my steps and establish me in the path He has ordained for me, for it is written: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." (Proverbs 3: 5–6, NKJV)

5) I declare that I shall walk worthy of God's holy calling with humility, faithfulness, and perseverance, for it is written: "I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called." (Ephesians 4: 1, NKJV)

6) I declare that the One who has called me is faithful, and He shall strengthen, establish, and complete His work in my life, for it is written: "He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it." (1 Thessalonians 5: 24, NKJV)

7) I declare that I shall press forward with unwavering confidence until I fully attain the purpose for which God the Father has called me in the Lord Jesus Christ, for it is written: "I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 3: 14, NKJV)

Closing Declaration: I declare that God's unmistakable call upon my life shall not be hindered by fear, opposition, immorality, delay, distraction, lack of zeal, or human limitation. The Lord God shall open every necessary door, grant me wisdom, courage, and endurance, and cause me to fulfill His divine purpose. I shall remain faithful to His calling until that Day when I shall stand before Him with joy, having finished the race and glorified His holy name. In the holy name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

(Philippians 4: 6–7, NKJV)

THE FAMILY OF GOD

Introduction: God has graciously called us into His family through the Lord Jesus Christ. As members of His household, we are called to love one another, preserve the unity of the Spirit, grow together in holiness, and faithfully serve His Kingdom. Let us pray that our lives and our churches may increasingly reflect the beauty of God's family.

1) Eternal Father God, deepen our love for one another so that the world may recognize us as disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, for it is written: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 13: 34–35, NKJV)

2) Glorious heavenly Father God, preserve the unity of Your family and remove every seed of division, bitterness, and strife from among us, for it is written: "Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit... one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." (Ephesians 4: 3–6, NKJV)

3) Loving Father God, help us to care for, encourage, and strengthen one another daily as members of Your household, for it is written: "And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together... but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10: 24–25, NKJV)

4) Almighty Father God, make our families and our churches places where Your peace and the word of Christ richly dwell, for it is written: "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom." (Colossians 3: 15–16, NKJV)

5) Righteous Father God, unite us in humble service so that each member faithfully uses the gifts You have entrusted to us, for it is written: "As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God." (1 Peter 4: 10, NKJV)

6) Gracious Father God, establish us in holiness so that Your family may shine as a holy people in the midst of the world, for it is written: "But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, 'Be holy, for I am holy.'" (1 Peter 1: 15–16, NKJV)

7) Heavenly Father God, keep us faithful until the glorious appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ, when the whole family of the redeemed shall be gathered before You forever, for it is written: "Beloved, now we are children of God... we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is." (1 John 3: 2, NKJV)

Closing Prayer: Awesome heavenly Father God, thank You for adopting us into Your blessed family through our dear Lord Jesus Christ. Fill us with sincere love, steadfast faith, humility, unity, and holiness. Help us to bear one another's burdens, serve one another joyfully, and glorify You together as one household of faith. May our earthly families and every local congregation increasingly reflect Your holy character until the day we are gathered into Your eternal family in Your glorious Kingdom. Through the Lord Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

GOD'S UNCHANGING LOVE

Introduction: The love of God the Father is eternal, steadfast, and unchanging. It is not dependent upon changing circumstances or human performance but upon His holy and faithful character. The following confessions celebrate the certainty of God's unfailing love revealed through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Confessions:
1) I confess that nothing shall separate me from the love of the Almighty God, for it is written: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?” (Romans 8: 35, NKJV).

2) I confess that God's everlasting love shall continually surround and uphold me, for it is written: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love.” (Jeremiah 31: 3, NKJV).

3) I declare that I shall rest confidently in God the Father's faithful love every day, for it is written: “The Lord is good, His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.” (Psalm 100: 5, NKJV).

4) I confess that God's love shall strengthen me through every trial, tribulation, and adversity that the Almighty God permits me to go through, for it is written: “Many waters cannot quench love, nor can the floods drown it.” (Song of Solomon 8: 7, NKJV).

5) I declare by faith that I shall respond to God's love by loving Him with all my heart, for it is written: “We love Him because He first loved us.” (1 John 4: 19, NKJV).

6) I confess that I shall continually abide in the love of the Almighty God through faithful obedience, for it is written: “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love.” (John 15: 10, NKJV).

7) I confess that the love of God shall be perfected in my life and overflow to others, for it is written: “The love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” (Romans 5: 5, NKJV).

Closing Declaration: I declare that I am secure in the everlasting and unchanging love of God the Father. His love shall sustain me, strengthen me, comfort me, and transform me throughout my life. I shall continually walk in His love and reflect it to others. In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

THE LORD JESUS: OUR COMMITTED ADVOCATE

Introduction: The fact that adversity has become commonplace virtually everywhere on earth, does not mean that God Almighty is indifferent to our struggles, challenges and problems (John 14: 1, 27; John 16: 33). The Lord Jesus Christ is not a distant or passive Saviour (Psalm 46: 1; Hebrews 4: 14-16). Having accomplished His redemptive work, He now lives and continually intercedes for those who belong to Him. He is our righteous Advocate before the Father, faithfully representing us, defending us against every accusation, and strengthening us to persevere in faith (Romans 8: 31-34). As we make the make the following confessions let us focus on the final victory that the Lord Jesus Christ won for us at Calvary nearly 2000 years ago.

Confessions:
1) I declare that the Lord Jesus Christ is my committed Advocate before the Father. I stand accepted, defended, and justified through Him, and no accusation against me shall ultimately prevail. The Holy Bible declares: "My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous." (1 John 2: 1, NKJV)

2) I confess that the Lord Jesus Christ continually intercedes for me. He faithfully represents me before the Father, and His prayers on my behalf never fail. "Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them." (Hebrews 7: 25, NKJV)

3) I humbly declare that the Lord Jesus Christ stands with me in every trial. I will not fear opposition because my Redeemer is actively committed to my eternal welfare. The assurance of God’s Word is that: "If God is for us, who can be against us?... It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us." (Romans 8: 31, 34, NKJV)

4) I wholeheartedly confess that the Lord Jesus Christ openly acknowledges me before God the Father because I openly confess Him before men. I belong to Him, and He will never deny me. The Holy Bible says, "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 10: 32, NKJV)

5) Today, I confess that the Lord Jesus Christ strengthens me to remain faithful to God Almighty until the end. Like Stephen, I will keep my eyes fixed on Him, knowing that He is with me in every season of testing. God’s Word says: "But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God." (Acts 7: 55, NKJV)

6) I declare by faith that the Lord Jesus Christ receives me with joy and honour. Whether in life or in death, I am secure in His unfailing love and saving power. The Bible says, "Then they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, 'Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.'" (Acts 7: 59, NKJV)

7) It is my humble confession that I always rejoice because no charge can separate me from the love of God. Through the Lord Jesus Christ, I have complete assurance of salvation, acceptance, and ultimate victory. Scripture declares: "Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us." (Romans 8: 33–34, NKJV)

Conclusion: Let these confessions become a regular expression of your faith and confidence in the Lord Jesus Christ. Regardless of the challenges, opposition, or accusations you may encounter, remember that your committed Advocate never abandons His own. He continually intercedes for you, stands with you in every trial, and will faithfully keep you until the day you stand in the glorious presence of God the Father.

TRAVAILING: THE GETHSEMANE EXPERIENCE

Scripture References: Matthew 26 verses 36-44 and Luke 22 verses 39-44

Introduction: The supplications of our Lord Jesus Christ at Gethsemane teach us that seasons of intense prayer, surrender, and spiritual travail often precede God's greatest victories and the consummation of His purposes. The following seven confessions express wholehearted submission to our dear heavenly Father God and steadfast perseverance through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Confessions:
1) I confess that I shall remain steadfast in prayer until God's will is accomplished in my personal life, family, church, nation and generation, for it is written: “Nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.” (Luke 22: 42, NKJV).

2) I confess that I shall draw supernatural strength from God the Father in every season of spiritual travail, for it is written: “Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him.” (Luke 22: 43, NKJV, see Psalm 91: 11-12 and Hebrews 1: 14).

3) I confess that I shall persevere in earnest prayer regardless of the intensity of life's battles, for it is written: “Being in agony, He (the Lord Jesus Christ) prayed more earnestly.” (Luke 22: 44, NKJV).

4) I confess that I shall always choose to obey God the Father above personal comfort, for it is written: “Though He (the Lord Jesus Christ) was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.” (Hebrews 5: 8, NKJV).

5) I confess that every season of travail shall produce the perfect fulfillment of God's purposes in my life, calling, ministry and family, for it is written: “For the joy that was set before Him endured the cross.” (Hebrews 12: 2, NKJV).

6) I confess that I shall not grow weary while waiting upon the God of heaven, for it is written: “Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” (Galatians 6: 9, NKJV).

7) I confess that the Almighty God shall bring me from travail into victory according to His perfect will, for it is written: “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” (Psalm 30: 5, NKJV).

Closing Declaration: I declare that every Gethsemane experience in my life shall deepen my communion and intimacy with God, strengthen my obedience to Him, and prepare me for His greater purposes. I shall not abandon the place of prayer or surrender. By the grace of God, my travail shall give way to victory, my sorrow to joy, and my obedience to lasting spiritual fruit. In the glorious name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

5) I confess that nothing shall separate me from the love of God, for it is written: “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” (Romans 8: 37, NKJV).

Closing Declaration: I declare that my faith shall remain firm, my hope shall remain alive, and my love for the Almighty God shall never grow cold. No trial, delay, disappointment, or adversity shall separate me from trusting and serving Him. By God’s grace, I shall remain faithful to the end of my current earthly course. In the holy name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

GROANING OUR WAY INTO BREAKTHROUGHS!

Introduction: Spiritual groanings are a faculty of our innermost being as born-again Christians which is activated by the Holy Spirit (Romans 8: 19-23, 26-27). Holy Spirit-enabled inward groans are a facility of God which enable us to communicate directly and supernaturally with God the Father. Through inward groans we easily bypass the limitations, inaccuracies, the clutter, and the unnecessary noise of natural human languages. May the Almighty God favour you with His precious and most generous Spirit as you utter the following seven Scripture-backed confessions.

Confessions:
1) My groaning is not in vain because God the Father is working out His perfect purposes in me.

Romans 8 verse 28 (NKJV): "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."

Gracious Father God, I confess that every season of inward groaning is under Your sovereign control. You are turning every trial, delay, and burden into a testimony that will glorify Your holy name.

2) My present sufferings cannot compare with the glory that awaits me in the future.

Romans 8 verse 18 (NKJV): "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."

I refuse to be discouraged by my present afflictions. My eyes are fixed upon the glory that God Almighty has prepared for me and countless multitudes of other saints. I shall emerge stronger, wiser, and more fruitful in this season.

3) The Holy Spirit strengthens me as I wait upon the Lord God.

Romans 8 verse 26 (NKJV): "Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered."

The Holy Spirit is helping me in every weakness. He is praying for me according to the perfect will of God, and I shall receive divine strength, wisdom, and breakthrough today.

4) God the Father renews my strength as I patiently trust Him.

Isaiah 40 verse 31 (NKJV): "But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."

As I wait upon the Lord God, my strength is continually renewed. I shall not faint under pressure. I rise above every obstacle by the power of God.

5) My earnest seeking of the Almighty God shall be rewarded.

Hebrews 11 verse 6 (NKJV): "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."

I diligently seek the Lord God Almighty with all my heart. My labour in prayer, worship, and obedience shall not be fruitless, for my God rewards those who earnestly seek Him.

6) God's appointed breakthrough will come at the right time. Habakkuk 2 verse 3 (NKJV): "For the vision is yet for an appointed time... Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."

I reject impatience and despair. God's promises over my life shall come to pass at His appointed time. I will wait with faith, confidence, and joyful expectation.

7) I shall reap a glorious harvest because I refuse to give up. Galatians 6 verse 9 (NKJV): "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."

I will not grow weary in prayer, righteousness, or faithful service. My due season is approaching. By God's grace, I shall experience breakthroughs that glorify Christ and fulfil God the Father's perfect will. In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
