SUNDAY SPECIAL THANKSGIVING SERVICE I

What is not appreciated depreciates, but what is appreciated multiplies! Thanksgiving contains the power for multiplication! When Jesus was about to multiply the loaves and the fish, He didn’t cry out in desperation. He lifted up his voice and gave thanks. Sometimes and many times it is not desperate frustrated cries that provoke heaven’s response! Many times it is thanksgiving! Paul and Silas found themselves badly beaten and thrown into the inner dungeon of a prison (Acts 16:25), but at midnight they were praying and PRAISING! That praising is thanksgiving! Thanksgiving and praising go together. We thank God for what He has done and we praise Him for who He is, a faithful ever loving, ever dependable dad! Tomorrow we have set aside a whole Sunday service as is our custom to enter His gates with Thanksgiving and His courts with Praise!!! It’s a high high praises Sunday! Come with your dancing shoes. Come ready to praise and thank Him no matter what. Come and declare the goodness of God in the land of the living. Invite someone special and important to you! Every believer desires breakthroughs — breakthroughs in finances, health, family, ministry, academics, and spiritual life. However, breakthroughs are not accidental. They are products of walking with God through obedience and faith!

Deuteronomy 28:1

“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God…”

God connects blessings and breakthroughs to obedience.

Many people pray for open doors but ignore God’s instructions. Breakthrough comes when we obey God completely and promptly.

Tomorrow’s service is designed to help you step up to your own desired breakthrough finally! But you must come with faith, and with expectation. God only responds to the expectant. See you later in church tomorrow. Don’t come alone. Bring a friend. Invite a neighbour. You will be blessed for bringing change in their lives. Peace.

Jesus passed this edict to us in Mark16:15:
