⚫️THE GOSPEL SAVES YOU — NOT YOUR EFFORT

✴️Paul clearly defines the Gospel:

✝️“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel… how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:1–4

➡️Notice what saves:

*️⃣Not cleaning up your life.
*️⃣Not promising to never sin again.
*️⃣Not reforming yourself.
*️⃣Not religious performance.
*️⃣Not human effort.

✴️The Gospel is about what CHRIST has already accomplished.

*️⃣He died for our sins.
*️⃣He was buried.
*️⃣He rose again.

➡️Salvation is received by believing the Gospel, not by trying to earn what Christ has already provided.

➡️Your confidence is not in what you can do for God.

➡️Your confidence is in what Christ has already done for you.

➡️So don't put your trust in your performance.

✴️BELIEVE THE GOSPEL

⚫️LIVE ACCORDING TO YOUR NEW IDENTITY

✝️“The righteous shall live by faith.”
— Romans 1:17;

✝️ Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for “The righteous shall live by faith.”
-Galatians 3:11

➡️Doctrine comes before practice.

➡️First, understand who you are in Christ. Then, live according to that identity.

In Christ, you are:

*️⃣JUSTIFIED.
*️⃣ACCEPTED.
*️⃣REDEEMED.
*️⃣COMPLETE.
*️⃣A NEW CREATURE.
*️⃣GOD’S WORKMANSHIP.

These are not future hopes.

They are present realities because you are in Christ.

➡️Yes, you may still struggle.
➡️You may still fail.
➡️You are still growing.

But your struggles do not define your identity.

✴️Don't measure yourself by your worst day.

✴️Measure yourself by what God has declared to be true about you in Christ.

➡️Your confidence is not in your performance.

Your confidence is in Him.

So:

*️⃣Walk by faith.
*️⃣Rest in His grace.
*️⃣Stand in Christ.
*️⃣Live according to who God has already made you.

✴️Your identity is not found in your past, your failures, or your performance.

✴️YOUR IDENTITY IS FOUND IN CHRIST.

⚫️YOU ARE A NEW CREATURE

✝️“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17

➡️Paul does not say:
“You are becoming a new creature.”

➡️He says:
“You are a new creature.”

This is not merely a promise about your future.

It is a present reality in Christ.

✴️Your old identity in Adam has been replaced by a new identity in Christ.

➡️And this new creation is God’s work not your self-improvement.

You did not create yourself.
God made you new.
Therefore:

➡️Your past no longer defines your relationship with God.

➡️Your failures no longer determine your standing before Him.

➡️Your former identity no longer has the final word about who you are.

➡️Your identity is now found in Christ.

You may still be growing.

You may still be learning.

You may still have areas of your life that need transformation.

But your identity is settled.

✴️You are in Christ.

You are a new creature.

So stop introducing yourself to God through your past.

Stop defining yourself by your failures.

Stop measuring your identity by your performance.

Learn to see yourself the way God sees you in Christ.

Say it until you believe it:

✝️“I am not who I used to be.
I am who God says I am in Christ.”

➡️NEW CREATION.
➡️NEW IDENTITY.
➡️NEW POSITION.
➡️IN CHRIST.
