KJV Isaiah 44

1 Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen:
2 Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.
3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:
*Topic: The Lord will help His people*
The above verses are a promise of help from God to His children. He is saying I have chosen you and you should fear not.
There are certain conditions upon which we may expect that God will hear and answer our prayers. One of the first of these is that we feel our need of help from Him. He has promised, He will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground.Those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, who long after God, may be sure that they will be filled. The dry grounds(problems) you are facing right now , you only have to acknowledge that you need God's help and call unto Him and He will help you
Be encouraged to feel the need for God's help and He will help you. Good night saints

KJV Jonah 2
The Prayer of Jonah
1 Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly,
2 And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
3 For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.
*Topic: Your situation mustn't restrict /limit you from calling for help*
From the above scripture , Jonah prayed to God out of the fish's belly . I would like to believe that being in a fish's belly wasn't a comfortable place but that didn't restrict or limit him to pray. Jonah realized that the only way out of the fish's belly was through prayer. Out of the belly of hell he cried and God heard his voice.
Tonight I believe I'm speaking to someone who is in his or her belly of hell , your failing marriage, children involved in drugs, your health, your business can be your belly of hell, bareness,but crying to family, friends , or church leaders will not get you out of the belly of hell . Make God you first refugee in times of trouble. Some people tend to loose hope when facing problems , but tonight I want to encourage someone to know that salvation belongs to God .At last Jonah had learned that “salvation belongeth unto the Lord.” *Psalm 3:8* . With penitence and a recognition of the saving grace of God, came deliverance. Jonah was released from the perils of the mighty deep and was cast upon the dry land. Don't let your situation restrict/restrain or limit you from praying to God . Apostle Paul wrote in his letter to the Corinthians in chapter 12
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

KJV 1 Corinthians 2
9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
*Theme : Fall in love with God*
The above verse is God's promise to his children . His promise is that He has prepared things that no eye have seen and no ear have heard or things that have entered into the heart of men. However for us to receive these things , there is a condition which is to love him. Fall in love with God brethren and you will see all that He has prepared for you. Remember He is a God who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, (Ephesians 3:20)
Falling in love with God is trying to live according to His will.His will is in His Word . Put your total dependency on Him.Also submit yourself to Him through prayer and resisting the devil.

7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
Nahumi 1:7
Jehovah wakanaka , inhare nezuva yekutambudzika , iye anoziva vanotizira kwaari
*Topic : He is always good* The above verse is saying the "Lord is good a strong hold in the day of trouble." This can only be proved if we take refugee in the Lord and He delivers us. God also knows those who trust in Him . He delights in us when we put our trust in Him and His Word and lean not on our understanding or trust in the frail arm of man. The above scripture is a consolation to all who totally trust Him , their trust is recognized and blessed by Him. Now unto you brethren I want to encourage you to trust in the Lord all the time . Situations come and go but be David who said in
Psalms 20
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

KJV Hebrews 4
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
*Theme: God's Word is a weapon. Use it.*
Our opening scripture tells us that our Bible is not just any book. It is not just paper and
ink. It is a weapon that is alive and powerful, and its purpose is to help you
protect, defend, and obtain. When used it has got the power to protect and defend you and your family. It
will help you obtain everything God has promised you so that you can live an
abundant life. In the beginning when God was creating things, He just commanded and things were created. The same Word still have got power even today when used by a believer. Having faith and confidence in the Word will enable a believer to live a life of victory not defeat. Our heavenly Father is faithful to His Word and His promises. *KJV Luke 11*
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
For you to be able to *apply the Word of God* , you must have an insight of the power in the Word.

KJV Luke 8
10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
*Topic: Seek to understand the Word*
One day Jesus was speaking in a parable and after He finished His disciples asked Him saying what might the parable be. I can say His disciples understood the parable but not it's meaning
Even today this is happening to many people. We hear the Word but we do not understand it's meaning
You can read the Bible daily but only the Holy Spirit can grant you an understanding and reveal to you the things you know not that are hidden in the Bible
Jesus answered His disciples question with the above answer in our scripture reading saying unto you it is given to know the mysteries, meaning anyone who sincerely seek to know the Lord and have a deeper understanding of His Word must hunger and thirst to know the Word
The world today is full of people who seeing but they might not see and hearing yet they do not understand. It's so sad brethren because the Word is being preached daily on different platforms and yet we still live in defeat from the devil because we are not understanding the Word and it's power to change things for us so that we live a life of victory
KJV Proverbs 4
7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Solomon is one man in the Bible who knew the importance of having wisdom and hence he asked it from the Lord. When you got wisdom in you, you easily understand things. Seek heavenly wisdom in order to understand the Kingdom of God
We are in *the season of application of the Word of God* but let me tell you the truth , only those who understand the Word of God will be able to apply it.Seek to understand the Word of God and apply it in your life and live a victorious life

Today's scripture
KJV Micah 7
7 Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.
Topic : *look and wait unto the Lord*
In life there are so many situations that we face and at times we feel defeated , but this evening I want to encourage someone not to loose hope nomatter the situation, but instead to look unto the Lord. I want to encourage someone to wait for God . He is our salvation and He is there to hear us when we call unto Him
What we need to understand is troubles come but don't let your enemy/ devil win. The word of God is saying, rejoice not against me , O mine enemy ,when I fall , I shall arise again meaning that even when we are faced with problems, we will overcome them
The word is also saying when I sit in darkness , the the Lord shall be light unto me. So don't despair brethren, you have God on your side
Today I believe I am preaching to someone who might have lost hope in life and is in the darkest phase of life, don't worry dear the Lord shall be light unto you
Maybe I'm talking to someone in a loveless marriage where his/her spouse and children doesn't appreciate, or you have been job hunting for years in vain , whatever situation you are in look unto the Lord He is our salvation
Today I want you to tell the devil that enough is enough. Tell the devil that you have had enough of his nonsense . Tell the enemy that his time for rejoicing over your downfall is over . Declare today that I shall arise
This is our season to rise again . Pray for restoration of all the years that the devil have stolen from you

KJV Joel 2
25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

This is God's promise to us as His children . He will restore when we look unto Him
KJV Proverbs 24
16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

When you fall down it doesn't mean defeat. Sometimes we fall down so that we will testify the faithfulness of our Lord

KJV Proverbs 3
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

*Topic : Trust in the Lord and He shall direct your paths*
God Guides Us in Doing His Will.--Has not God said He would give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him? and is not this spirit a real, true actual guide? Some of us seem afraid to take God at His word as though it would be presumption in them. We pray for the Lord to teach us and yet are afraid to credit the pledged word of God and believe we have been taught of Him. So long as we come to our heavenly Father humbly and with a spirit to be taught, willing and anxious to learn, why should we doubt God's fulfilment of His own promise? You must not for a moment doubt Him and dishonor Him thereby. When you have sought to know His will, your part in the operation with God is to believe that you will be led and guided and blessed in the doing of His will. We may mistrust ourselves lest we misinterpret His teachings, but make even this a subject of prayer, and trust Him, still trust Him to the uttermost, that His Holy Spirit will lead you to interpret aright His plans and the working of His providence. Let God guide you brethren and apply His Word to your life.

*Power of your words*

KJV Ezekiel 37
4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.
Today I want to talk about the power that is in the words we speak. From creation God used words to create all things. KJV Genesis 1
Creation of the Light
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
This shows that words has life in them .
KJV Mark 11
13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.
Jesus used words to curse the fig tree and it withered. Likewise as children of God we have the same power to speak words with life in them. Like the bones in the valley they came to life after hearing the word of God.
Speak life to your finances,family , healthy, marriage they will come to life. The key to a life that we desire is on our mouths.

Do Not Put Trust in Flesh
5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.
7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Topic: *Trust in God*

Some of us when faced with problems , we are prone to look to our fellow men for sympathy and uplifting but the word of God is saying when you trust in men you're cursed. When we put our trust in men , our hearts departs from the Lord . But when we trust in the Lord we are blessed because God sees the depth of our sorrows and what we feel to depths.
So this morning brethren I want to encourage you to trust in God all the time, in any situation. No matter the situation you are in you must always remember that there is nothing too hard for the Lord . In your darkest hour our God remain faithful He will never forsake you . When you feel hopeless and tired have faith in the Lord

The Move to Moab and Tragedy
1 Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Beth-lehem-judah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two son
KJV Ruth 1
20 And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me.
21 I went out full, and the LORD hath brought me home again empty: why then call ye me Naomi, seeing the LORD hath testified against me, and the Almighty hath afflicted me?
*Theme : Know God's will for your life*
On this verse we are seeing that famine has hit the land and there is a certain man who decide to leave Bethlehem- Judah and go to Moab . Maybe his decision to go was because he was seeing others going.
Beth-lehem-judah means " _house of bread"._ Now this man decide to leave the house of bread because of drought to go to Moab . He is removing himself where God has situated him because of a situation . Even today some people are removing themselves from God's covering because of the problems they are facing forgetting that no problem is permanent where God is concerned . Some are leaving their churches because they think that their Pastor is not powerful and run after miracles . Now Naomi , after the death of her husband and sons , she decides to go back and by that time she had heard that there was no drought anymore . But unfortunately she is going a widow and childless. She told people not to call her Naomi but Marah because God had afflicted her. She thought like that because of the situations that she had encountered . Today I want to encourage someone to know God's will for your life not to jus take decisions before hearing what God is saying about the situation you are already in. When Naomi came back the people they had left there were still alive meaning God had been protecting and providing them. Push in prayer before you make any decisions . If it is God's will He will bless you where you are,you will conceive and be the father or mother of Nations without seeking help anyplace . Know the perfect will of God for your life through God's word
KJV Proverbs 3
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
God will never deal with us bitterly if we remain in His covering. Some of the situations we face are test of our trust and faith in God. If we remain steadfast in the Lord we will see his faithfulness.
