CHURCH IS OPEN!
Allow me to shade light on the dark misunderstandings going around that churches are closed, and that ministers of the gospel are gone in hiding during this horrific and terrible period of this deadly and lethal epidemic.
The Church is a spiritual entity comprising the followers and believers of Christ Jesus both the living, and the physically departed (dead) from the beginning of time.
Unlike the common understanding that it is that human made monumental infrastructure which is deserted at the end of each and every worship service, which makes it a social entity.
This is necessary however in order to meet the social demands of gathering as a premises.
It’s like the difference between a house and a family.
A house a mere building where a family can dwell, but it’s not part the family- its only a property.
What is closed are church properties; the buildings, and not the spiritual entity of the body of believers. These are only not meeting or assembling in order to comply to government social calls as measures to reduce on the risk to spread the virus further. And the Church as believers are commanded by Scripture to submit to authority (Romans 13), hence the closure of their premises, and the suspension of all social interactions. I believe that any church or clergy who would dare to defy this ruling would prove no spiritual zeal or genuineness but rather, insolence and rebellion to authorities, and therefore face its wrath.
I therefore submit that submission to authority does not show cowardice on the part of the Church and it’s very able leadership, neither is it a reflection of pseudoism or lack of authenticity.
Church loves people even in the times like these, and is quietly praying and aiding the affected families and nations at large.
Do not entertain any thought or voice that is busy calling the Church and it’s leaderships blasphemous and disrespectful names. Some of the voice are already know that they are not part of the Church or the Spirit of Christ.
They openly confess to believe and use other spirits and powers rather than that of Christ.
They are not part of us (the Church), they are against us (the Church).
Ignore them!
As for servants of God, in times like these, you are highly appreciated, and honoured both for the efficacious works you’ve already done in the past, and the ones you will continue performing when all this quarantine season is gone and dusted.
The governments too are never because of this to be demonised and called all diabolical names.
Their efforts are all to ensure the safety of every citizen. For without citizens, no society. And without society, no gatherings at all levels.
You too, our able government of the Republic of Zambia are doing a great job worthy to be appreciated by any unpolitically inclined mind.
Keep doing everything possible to ensure reduced numbers of fatalities and infections in our beloved nation - Zambia.
It’s time to cry for our beloved country.
Opposition leaders, you stand as potential or possible ruling governments, and should therefore exert every means to ensure the nation is healthy because Democracy is the government of the PEOPLE by the PEOPLE for the PEOPLE without which not votes, no government, and no power or authority.
This is time to ensure that our only Zambia, our only nation is safe and intact through the application of join efforts between our working government, aspiring governments, and the all season and seasoned national partner- the Church.
God bless our nation Zambia
