Dear Jerusalem Parish Family,

I am deeply grateful to God for the opportunity to be reappointed to our beloved Jerusalem Parish, and I sincerely appreciate the love, support, and confidence of the entire church membership.

My prayer is that, with God on our side and together as a church family, we shall once again accomplish even greater things for the glory of God.

Tomorrow, Sunday, we are privileged to have our District Superintendent, Rev. Kainda Titusa, as our guest. Let us therefore observe time and come in large numbers to worship, fellowship, and welcome our DS.

Please remind someone that tomorrow is Sunday. Let us all make every effort to be in church and encourage others to do the same.

God bless Jerusalem Parish. Together, with God on our side, we can do more!

The Jerusalem United Methodist Church Parish Mourns the Passing of Rev. Anderson Kanema

It is with deep sorrow that the Jerusalem United Methodist Church Parish mourns the passing of Rev. Anderson Kanema, a senior minister who faithfully served the United Methodist Church–Zambia Conference in various leadership portfolios and also served as minister of the Jerusalem Parish.

We give thanks to God for his faithful ministry, dedicated service, and the lasting impact he made in the lives of many through his commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

On behalf of the Jerusalem Parish, we convey our heartfelt condolences to the Kanema family and to the entire United Methodist Church–Zambia Conference during this time of great loss. We pray that God’s comforting presence will strengthen and sustain all who mourn.

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4

May the soul of Rev. Anderson Kanema rest in the eternal peace of our Lord!
