Jesus ministry of restoration- Pst Chimba Kalima

The lost are in 2 categories which are the ones we know as those active in church even doing God’s work all the time and those who have stopped coming to church. Jesus ministry of restoration when he comes he attends to both categories.

Jesus is restoring to such individuals
For us to understand this we have to go back to chapter 18:18-26 and a question is asked can rich man truly be saved..?

Benefits of giving your life in Christ

Receive the package in this world special blessings, protection so that you enjoy while you’re in this world.. receive the package in heaven.

Can rich people be saved..? Jesus went to Jericho to answer this particular question
Jesus met batimeas the poor man and zacheus the rich man, Jesus has the capacity to attend to all situations there’s no situation that intimidate Jesus, Zacheus desire to meet Jesus is a rebuke to this generation

Those who give themselves wholly Jesus will attend to them and we learn that three things that hindered zacheus to meet Jesus bedding which are;

His riches : wealth can compete with God
Zacheus overcame this temptation Jesus must be more important than money.

His business: ( his work) tax collector
According to the Jews no one can receive money except from God, Zacheus was regarded as a betrayer of his own people being an archangel of God. Tax collectors were not allowed to enter the temple not allowed to mingle with God’s people.

The people: Do not underestimate the power of the people because they can make you stop worshiping God in order to satisfy themselves. Do not allow people to overcome you even if zacheus chose a wrong path which Jesus wasn’t using Jesus could have still followed him.

The question is answered surely even the rich can be saved. Jesus restoring zacheus
the conversion of zacheus was genuine
Jesus this evening is still in business of restoring and reinstating God restores and reinstates just like he did to Zacheus and his home was no-longer the same.

SERENJE ZONE A | TETA CAMP ANNUAL MEETING

CHILDREN'S CORNER

Jesus made mud, placed it on the man’s eyes, and told him to wash in the Pool of Siloam. When the man obeyed, his sight was miraculously restored. For the first time, he could see light, colors, people, trees, and especially the faces of his parents. He joyfully returned to the city announcing, “I can see!”

The people were amazed and took him to the Pharisees. The Pharisees questioned him repeatedly because Jesus had healed him on the Sabbath. They doubted the miracle and accused Jesus of being a sinner. However, the man confidently testified about what he knew: “I was blind, but now I see.”

The Pharisees also questioned his parents, who confirmed that he was their son and had been blind from birth but were afraid to explain how he had been healed.

Later, Jesus found the man and asked whether he believed in the Son of Man. Jesus revealed that He was the One speaking to him. The man responded with faith and worshipped Jesus.

MAIN LESSON
The story teaches that Jesus is the Light of the World. He not only gave physical sight to the blind man but also gave him spiritual sight and faith. The man moved from physical blindness to seeing the world, and finally to recognizing and worshipping Jesus as the Son of God.

KEY MESSAGE: Even when others doubt what God has done, we can confidently testify about our experience: “I was blind, but now I see.”

How important is the camp meeting to you ?
Does the camp meeting have an impact in your life ?

God is still using the camp meeting today as an avenue for life changing, As an avenue to strengthen his children. Luke 2 gives us the picture who Jesus was when he was 12 years old.

Our theme for this camp meeting is entitled mission refocus communion with God, that should help us understand that we need to communion ourselves remember that you can be busy with God’s work preaching, helping the people in need and many more that is all good but not critical the most important thing is being in communion with God.

When Jesus was 12 years old his parents came with him to the festival of the passover and to the priest the Passover had one importance they delivery story’s but to Jesus Christ it did not speak of the great deliverance but was pointing to the future
Jesus discovered the purpose of his life at the passover equally everyone here can discover the purpose of their life at the camp meeting.

Pst Kalima said “ Few lessons we can learn from this experience of Jesus -
1. Jesus prioritized his relationship with God
2. Stay where your spiritual growth happens “

Give yourself 20 minutes of peace, pray and communion with God, remember what you come here for your time with Him is more important then you just being busy.

This week pray sincerely and tell God to give you a teachable spirit make a difference this week when Jesus came to the temple he was never the same nothing made him too busy to be with God.

God will show you the purpose of your life if you make him your friend make a difference this camp meeting.
