Giving your time to God should be your priority. It’s not about having the time; it’s making the time for God. To be very honest
Making time for God shouldn’t be part of our “to-do” list. It isn’t something that requires more willpower or being more disciplined.
Making time for God needs to be a true longing in our hearts. We must hunger for his presence just the same way you long for the person you love. If you keep pushing yourself to be alone with God, but you actually have no desire you will get tired and it will be a struggle for you, then comes discouragement. Because the desire is not there we push spending time with God as one of the things we do when we are free so we stay busy and disconnected. The first thing I will urge everyone reading this to do is to pray that the Lord give you Love for him, If you really love the Lord you will always want to be with him.
Pray to overcome distractions that lead you away from Him. Put down that TV remote, your phone, your tablet, or whatever distracts you. Make time for God. When you are done, Do not move on to Netflix, social media,an talking hours onthe phone like it use to be if not you will keep going in circles today you are hot tomorrow you are cold. Make it a habit to talk to Him every single time even when you are at work tell hi how you’re feeling, ask for help/guidance, concerns, etc.
What makes my desire for the Lord long-lasting is my desire to live a life unspotted from this world, My desire to walk in the spirit and hear the voice of God draws me to the feet of the Lord Jesus. I know once I start spending less time with God the Flesh begins to kick in
During my walk with the Lord, i have realized that spending only one hour with God is not enough time. Believe it or not, one hour is less than two percent of our day. Imagine only spending two percent of your day with your significant other? Would you be okay with that? Please don't be a Lukewarm Christian
That is just the way the devil likes
