[4]“Do you not know this of old, Since man was placed on earth,
[5]That the triumphing of the wicked is short, And the joy of the hypocrite is but for a moment?

*INTERPRETATION*

The triumph and joy of the wicked are temporal. They can enjoy life today and suffer consequences tomorrow. Beloved of my heavenly father, true triumph and joy are found in the Lord Jesus. Let's commit our lives fully to Him and we shall have everlasting joy.
