TODAYS MESSAGE
Date: Sunday, 23rd August 2026.
THEME: Salvation is a gift from God.
Scriptures: Luke 2:21-35, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.
The servant of God, pastor Moses Kapenda, encouraged the congregation today that we must be dedicated to the presence of God.
True dedication begins with a change of character, because for us to walk in God's presence we must surrender our lives completely to him. The man of God emphasized that in everything we do, we must involve God almighty and not act according to our own understanding, because anything done without God is illegal in the spiritual realm.
He said that before we start anything in life, we must first dedicate it to God, and then we will see the goodness of God manifest. many of the challenges we are facing today, including in our families and marriages, are because we have not fully dedicated ourselves to Christ.
it is not that God is unable to answer, but rather that we have not positioned ourselves under his covering. A child of God must allow God to guide and lead, and must make time for him daily.
When the spirit of God is upon you, you carry divine authority, you can stop death, and you can even close the heavens, because God is with you. the servant of God also reminded us that our bodies are the temple of God, therefore we must keep ourselves holy because our lives belong to God. We are here on earth for a purpose and a great mission.
When we are dedicated to God, there is a mark upon your life that Satan can see, and it becomes difficult for the enemy to destroy you. For your ministry, prayer life, and prophetic calling to grow, dedication is key. Without dedication, even if God has called you as a prophet, you will not see growth because you are outside the umbrella of God's presence.
The servant of God concluded by saying that when you dedicate yourself to Christ, you become untouchable and unstoppable. God is not just looking at what you are going through, he is looking at the desires of your heart.
What is your desire, child of God? Because when you dedicate yourself to him, God himself knows what you need and he will bring it to pass. To God be the glory.
