What is My father thinking that he cannot say?
After the Younger son requests for his share of the inheritance, the father did not say a word but he just gave.
He knew his son was too hard hearted to listen. What does God have to say about your life, seek to know your Father’s Desires not just what he can give you.

Anointed for Service
John 3:3-6
Romans 8:9
When a person becomes born again they receive the holy spirit.
The anointing is a subsequent work of the holy spirit building upon the foundation of being born again.
A person must be born again before they can experience the anointing.
Anointing refers to the divine empowerment and enablement that comes from God through the Holy Spirit. It is a supernatural equipping, that allows believers to fulfil their calling and God given purposes.
Both being born again and being anointed is the work of the same holy spirit.
Without the Holy Spirit we won’t have impact, we won’t have the anointing.
Not all born again believers may be consciously aware of or operate in the anointing but the holy spirit is present within them.
We must seek the anointing, operate in the anointing and live a life of obedience that allows the anointing to direct and guide us.

1 Samuel 3:2-10
Samuel lived in the house of God serving in many ways but he did not know the owners voice, Whatever he was doing was just Routine.
Routine does not invite the presence of God.
God did not say anything more to Samuel until he answered here I am lord, When Samuel said that his life changed from Routine to hearing God.
Do you Know God or are you just living in Routine?

Its with a heavy heart that we announce to you the loss of Ines Francisco, our core team leader and also finance manager for OpenChurch - Ndola.

She passed on today from Coptic hospital in Lusaka.

The funeral will be held here in Ndola starting tomorrow 18hrs at her house in Dola hill.

Let's all come and mourn our beloved leader.

DAY 22 FOCUS: FAITH THAT OVERCOMES
Scripture Mark 5:25-34, Romans 10:17, 1 Peter 1:9, Romans 4:20-21, Gen 22:5 & John 1:1-2)
Praying in faith is crucial for us because it aligns our hearts with God's will. It demonstrates our trust in Him, not just in His ability to answer our prayers but in His wisdom to respond in the best way possible. When we pray with faith, we acknowledge that God is sovereign and loving, and we surrender our desires to His perfect plan.
The prayer of faith is a heartfelt plea to God, grounded in our unwavering trust and belief in His power and goodness. It's more than just words; it's a deep, confident assurance that God hears and answers our prayers. This type of prayer is mentioned in the Bible, particularly in James 5:15, which says, "And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up." James 5:16 goes on to tell us "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective."
