CHURCH PROFILE IN SUMMARY
GOD’S SOULS IN CHRIST CHURCH is a church founded by Bishop Dickson Mwewa. The church is fully registered under the Zambian Act (registrar of societies) and formerly known as LIVING SOULS IN CHRIST CHURCH. Moreover, the church has brunches in Zambia and Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The brunches in Zambia are in Lusaka and Ndola while the branches in DRC are in Likasi, Kolwezi and Lubumbashi. The Church works with the community and local authority in dealing with its activities as listed below:
ACTIVITIES
1. Church mobilization and Support
2. Evangelism
3. Support to HIV/AIDS related issues e.g Access to information , Support Services such as Counseling and Discrimination
4. Home Based Care for Vulnerable and HIV/AIDS infected people
5. Support for Vulnerable Children
6. Support for widows and vulnerable Women
7. Support for the Disabled and the aged
8. Pastors Fellowship, workshops, Seminars and Conferences
9. Youth and Women empowerment through skills training and Projects e.g. farming
10. Nutrition Support
11. Education through community Schools and Skills Training
12. Gender Based Violence (GBV)
13. Prayer for the Nation through overnight Prayer Meetings
14. Also conducts deliverance services every Saturdays from 16hours to 18hours
AFFILIATION/PARTNERSHIPS
GOD’S SOULS IN CHRIST CHURCH runs a school called PARACLETE COMMUNITY SCHOOL which is registered to Ministry of Education under the Community Schools Secretariat.
Moreover, the church works hand in hand with the local community to combat community related issues as stated above in the activities.
