ON DISCIPLESHIP

Discipling people for the Kingdom of God is a sacrificial task as it doesn't only demand that we meet the spiritual needs of people but that we look into their material needs too. This is not done because the students are best but because they have the best teacher or discipler.

TODAY IS VERY SPECIAL TO ME.

Yesterday my Year ended and today I begin a new Year by God's Grace. We have some unfinished business together, A YOUNG LADY I've been posting about needs her college fees paid in FULL.

IT'S TIME TO SHINE.

Child of God you are called to shine wherever you are. Don't hide your light thinking you are being humble. Your good works must be evident to all. Yes that's God's will for your life.
This morning I encourage you to shine that light of Jesus in your life.
Shine through your gift, shine through your talents and career. Your light needs to be seen in your work places and school etc.

‭Matthew 5:14-16 ESV‬
[14] “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. [15] Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. [16] In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

DEVELOP YOUR GIFT.

The Presence of God's gifts in our lives is a sure manifestation of God's spirit in us.

I Corinthians 12:4-11 NKJV
[4] There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. [5] There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. [6] And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. [7] But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: [8] for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, [9] to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, [10] to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. [11] But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

Child of God, you must come to the reality that God has graciously empowered you with His Holy Spirit, and that Spirit came with the gifts of God in your life as tools to serve God.

The first place to use that gift you have is First where you are living. Yes, God wants you to serve him through the people you are with and the Local church.

To develop your gift there are four things that are critical:

1. Depends on the Holy Spirit to guide you.
2. Study the scriptures devotionally
3. Pray consistently
4. Practice your gift. Don't feel shy.
5. Be committed to fellowship with fellow believers.

The essence of the Gifts of God is to help us reach out to God's people for their salvation and edification.

The world is so dark even with it's sun that only Jesus is the light that can light up the hearts of people.

In 2015, I accepted the call of God to serve the lord as a full-time minister. What this meant was that, I leave my Job and commit to serving the Lord and His people in the Copperbelt, specifically to be stationed in Ndola, at least for now.

Before then I served the Lord whilst working for Zambia's Scholarship Fund in Kasama as a Program Director. My plan was to work for 10 years, but as scripture says our plans are not God's plan, the Lord called us just after working for 4 years with ZSF. And we had no option than to Obey.

Before that call( into full-time), the Lord had given me a burden for missions and we began planning as a family as we knew the Lord was calling us into that, so we began planning and doing the work with different churches in Kasama within the brethren with my fellow youths. We would use our little resources to organize outreaches, crusades and overnights in the outskirts of Kasama, and the Lord did wonders and we saw Souls saved and those under the captivity of the devil set free in the name of Jesus.

One night during a crusade of one renowned Evangelist, Tom Liya, I was praying (I was one of the choir members on his crusade) in my heart as I looked at the PA system and all the crusade equipment by Campus Crusade, and I was telling the Lord in my heart “ Lord kindly give me this kind of equipment for the Gospel”. That's the prayer I remember offering in my heart that night of the crusade. The following evening of the crusade, my friend Apostle Michael Muwowo told me;
“ Brother, when I was praying last night, the Lord told me to tell you that He will do what you were asking Him during last night's crusade”.

I knew what that meant, God was talking about my request for ministry equipment. That night, I began to pray and contemplate on the name of the ministry, and what came to my mind was “ SPIRIT LED GOSPEL MINISTRY”. I immediately created an email for that so that I don't forget.

This is how “ SLG GLOBAL MISSIONS” came about.

Since our coming to Ndola, we've served the Lord through the Local Church and other para church organisations, the work we started whilst in Kasama and the pace at which we did ministry has not been the pace we've been moving for various reasons.

I believe it's time we move in what God has called us to do and at a pace that He wants us.

From now on going forward, I am open to working with other churches and ministries Under our Ministry, SLG GLOBAL MISSIONS within and Outside Zambia.

I am still the Local Pastor at Grace Worship Center-OCBC-Z.
Our Ministry will first be instrumental to our local church, and then other churches as well.

WHY SLG GLOBAL MISSIONS?

1. This is the platform through which we shall take God's gospel to the nations, starting with Zambia.

2. It's a platform I will use to teach others how they can establish their own God ordained ministries away from the Local church so that there is a separation between church and our personal ministries.

3. I believe God wants his children to serve Him beyond the pulpit, and this is the platform I will use to show that practically.

Please don't confuse this work with other works I am involved with, this work is purely for taking the Gospel of Jesus to nations.

Finally, I call on Friends and family, within Zambia and Outside, to support us in this work. I call on Friends and family to be partners both in Prayers and Finances.

[40] “Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me. [41] The one who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and the one who receives a righteous person because he is a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward. [42] And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward."

A LADY WHO ABORTED 12 PREGNANCIES, LOST HER WOMB AND STILL MARRIED A VIRGIN YOUNG MAN AND HAD TWO SETS OF TWINS.

A lady was living a life of prostitution in a certain town. One day she discovered she was pregnant, and not wanting to keep the pregnancy, she aborted. It happened the second time and she aborted again until on her 12 pregnancy that she even lost her womb.
One day as she went for her prostitution job, she met a lady who was preaching about Jesus and His mercy and she was so convinced about her sins and repented and became a follower of Jesus.
That woman who preached to her told her " Because you have accepted Jesus, all your sins are forgiven you are now a new person in Christ Jesus".
That night she couldn't sleep because she began to remember about the many pregnancies she had aborted and was thinking how possible that God could just forgive her like that. As she wondered it was already morning.
Around 9, in the morning the lady that led her to Christ came and told her tha if she had any questions for her about the new life in Christ.

The lady began to explain her past and how she had lost her womb in the process, and she asked the lady " you told me that God has forgiven me, you have heard my story do you still stand by what you said that God has forgiven me ? The lady smiled and told her " Jesus' blood was shed for even more evil people than you consider yourself, yes he has forgiven you.
She again asked " but I have lost my womb, if I get married will i be able to conceive?"
The lady smiled and said " If God has forgiven you he will help you to conceive just believe, as God is concerned you are free from your sins because of Jesus. He doesn't see you now as a sinner or one who is a murderer you are now his child".

Then the lady told her, Can I pray for you for another womb ? She said yes !

The lady prayed for her with the following words " Father in Heaven, thank you for saving my sister, thank you for having forgiven her, now i pray for her new womb give her a new womb now in Jesus mighty name, AMEN."

As the lady prayed that prayer she felt something enter her stomach and she began to cry and worship God. And when she was done she narrated what she felt during the prayer.

A year latter, a gentleman visited this lady's church as he was looking for a lady to marry. He met this lady and proposed to her. The gentleman had never known a woman in his life and was looking for a Christian wife who was committed. When the lady thought about the proposal she couldn't accept without sharing her story to this man. She told the man " I like you too, but I want to tell you my story before you can have me as your wife "
She narrated her story and how the Lord saved her. The man was so delighted by her honesty and he went on to marry her.

To cut the long story short, the couple had 2 sets of twins and they moved to another town where God wanted them to serve, to people with similar backgrounds.

Moral of the lesson;

When God forgives you, he doesn't count your sins. His blood wipes them away and he remembers them no more.
Many people today are living with guilt because they haven't been taught well the Mercy of God so they disqualify themselves from God's mercy. I want you to know this my reader, no matter the sins you've committed, Jesus' blood is powerful to cleans you from all your sins. God is ready to accept you and treat you with MERCY. Don't allow guilt to prevent you from your salvation or deliverance. Like that woman God is able to replace what you've lost because of sin. He is the way maker.

[6] But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “Get up, take your mat and go home.”

The story is for purposes of leaning God's mercy it didn't happen. However, I know of something similar, where a lady approached Me who had aborted before and was HIV positive, she shared her story and I prayed for her , she was healed and 3 years later she got married and happily living with her husband and Kids free from the guilt, and HIV free .

DON'T JUST SPEAK WORDS, SPEAK WITH FAITH IN GOD IN YOUR HEART.

Mark 11:22-24 NKJV
[22] So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. [23] For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. [24] Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

In my yet to be published book, I deal with how your pastor can be a hindrance to your growth if care is not taken.

Discovering that you are unique and that God has unique plans for your life from those of your pastor is so critical as a child of God. Such a realization is critical to your growth and maturity. However it's also challenge because it brings its own battles.
As you learn from your pastor, learn with faith that God is guiding you through Him, but never desire to be his photocopy but to be whom God has designed you to be before time began.

OUR LIFE WITH GOD.

When we come to God, it is important to realize that we have come to interact with THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH.
Our life begins to be dictated by His spirit. It is important to be conscious of his leading and his dealings in our lives.

People of God, we who have come to God are not the same with those who don't have a relationship with Him. So even our definition of success is different from theirs. We must never compare ourselves with those who have no relationship with Jesus. It's a foolish thing to do.
Every time the people of God compared themselves with the people who have no relationship with God, it was considered a Sin. And it still is even now.

Remember, many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers Him from them all. Psalm 34:19
Even after coming to Jesus, we are not promised an easy life but we are assured of victory in all situations. John 16:33 Hallelujah.

You may be going through a tough time I pray for you that God gives you Victory now in the name of Jesus because of your relationship with Jesus. Even with you who is reading and has no relationship with Jesus I ask you to come and surrender in faith to Jesus ,he loves you and died for you. He is alive for your Justification. Come to Him and be saved from all your sins.

Don't give up, brother, don't give up sister Jesus is ready to help you.

Child of God tell yourself;

" I have a relationship with Jesus and therefore I overcome every challenge of life in Jesus mighty name".

HE CAME BY WHAT WAS WRITTEN IN THE SCROLLS
Our master Jesus loved to spend time with people but before being with people he loved so much to be alone with the father . He would always ascend to the mountain to pray . He would spend hours praying alone and sometimes with his disciples . And then he would descend and preach ,teach and heal the people and raise the dead.
Do you know why he loved going to the mountain?

He came by what was written in the scrolls about him. So whenever he was there ,it was a time of prayer and meditation. This was everyday meditation so he couldn't miss any of what was in those scrolls.

If we are to successfully live this life we need to acquaint ourselves with what's written about us, that which God has ordained and said concerning our purpose. This calls for meditation.

The quality of carefulness you apply in doing God's word is determined by what you know in the scrolls of your life. Allow Jesus to take you in that secret place . You can only pursue a future you know. Many today don't have a clue of their future because they don't have a relationship with the owner of the future. Jesus knows it all. Come to him for the rest of your soul.
