Walking With Jesus — Ndola West On Mission
“Walking With Jesus” was the inspiring theme for this year’s World Adventurer Day celebration as Adventurers from the Ndola West Mission District gathered at Chifubu North East to commemorate the special occasion in a spirit of worship, unity, and service.
The colorful gathering brought together Adventurers, Directors, church leaders, parents, and youth leaders, creating a memorable day centered on faith, character building, and community outreach. The event was graced by aspiring government leader and District Pastor Conrad Buunda, The message encouraged the young people to remain faithful in their walk with God. The main inspiration of the day was drawn from the life of Enoch — a man who walked so closely with God that his life became a testimony of obedience, faith, and righteousness.
The celebration continued in the afternoon with a meaningful community service activity at Holy Family along Broadway Road. In the true spirit of Christian service, the Adventurers donated mealie meal and cooking essentials, prepared extra cooked food and refreshments, and shared meals and fellowship with fellow young people in the community. The outreach reflected the love of Christ through kindness, generosity, and practical service.
Also present during the occasion were Youth Advisory Elder Kafweta and Copperbelt Zambia Region Coordinator Elder Sukuntu, whose presence and support added encouragement to both the Adventurers and their leaders.
The day stood as a powerful reminder that walking with Jesus is not only about words, but also about living a life of love, humility, compassion, and service to others. Through worship, fellowship, outreach, and community engagement, the Adventurers and their Directors truly demonstrated what it means to walk the talk with God.
