VINEYARD YOUTH CONFERENCE SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT Greeting in the Name of the Lord Jesus to all the Youths of the Vineyard Family in Zambia, On behalf of the Youth Movement and the Youth Leadership May i take this time to make a few Announcements.
1.The December conference was postponed due to lack of funds from our Youth groups across the nation to this year in April, But we received Concerns from the following Youth Groups, Itezhi tezi Vineyard, Nkeyema/Tbz Vineyard churches, Lumwana/True Vine Vineyard, Kasempa Vineyard and Livingstone Dambwa Vineyard, the common Concern was that the April period was not convenient due to busy farming and harvesting Activities and also Finances because by this time they have not yet sold any of there Farm produce. While the Livingstone Youths felt the information reached them late and needed more time.
2. Due to the above reasons we decided to Push the Event to AUGUST 2020; During School Holiday, in consultation with Our National Director Rev Damas Kamfwa, The Youths of Mongu Vineyard Hosting and Mobilization team and Other Regional and National Youth Leaders. *The decision was made in the interest of other youths and for the sake of unity as one family other benefits are that; - we hope to have big number of youths coming due to adequate time of preparation. - The Mongu Vineyard church Building maybe complete by then and we can use our own Venue instead of Hiring Other places at High Cost. - we hope the Corona Virus disease outbreak COVID-19 will be over at that time.
# On behalf of the Leadership we regret the incovenience this might have caused to some of our Youths who wished and planned to travel in April , however we are appealing and asking that preparations continue and funds be raised so that the AUGUST EVENT BECOMES A BIG SUCCESS.
- Be informed that we are considering Permanently shifting the NATIONAL YOUTH CAMP TO AUGUST INSTEAD OF DEC OR APRIL Due to several reasons and lessons learnt from the past. ---------------------------------------------------------
