Happy Easter to all believers!

Dear Brethren,

On the occasion when believers celebrate the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, I wish to extend special Easter greetings to all of you.

This Easter season is an extremely important period on the Christian calendar, and for BIGOCA we raise our eyes to Heaven and thank God for sending Jesus Christ to come and die for us as a atonement for our sins. The resurrection of Christ serves as an assurance for our salvation, and in all this we give glory and honour to God the Almighty.

As we celebrate this important occasion I would like to urge all believers to continue to carry your own cross.

I know there will be celebrations in various churches, other places where Christians will gather, and also in homes. I pray that the focal point in our celebrations will remain Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.

To those who will be travelling across the country, I implore you to ensure you uphold your personal safety and for others so that this occasion can pass without negative occurrences.
