THEME: ”YOUR LIFE IS FOR THE GLORY OF GOD”

”This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise (Isaiah 43:21).”

God didn’t create you for nothing. He formed you for Himself: to manifest His praise, display His excellence, and reveal His glory. As a new creation in Christ Jesus, your life has purpose and divine significance. You’re God’s showcase of grace and righteousness. You’re not just saved to go to heaven; you’re saved to reveal heaven on earth.

1 Peter 2:9 AMPC says, “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” That means your life ought to be full of testimonies. You were born to shine, to impact your world with the glory of God.

No wonder the Lord Jesus said you’re the light of the world, a city set on a hill. Through you, others see God’s goodness, power and love. Your words, your walk and your results are all meant to glorify God because you’re the effulgence of the Father’s glory. The glory of God is within you, and when you meditate on the Word and live the Word, that glory shines through you more and more.

Colossians 1:27 says, “...Christ in you, the hope of glory.” In John 17:22, the Lord Jesus said, “And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one.” You’re replete with the glory of God, and much stronger than that, you are the glory of God, and your heavenly Father is called “...the Father of glory...” (Ephesians 1:17). That means your name is glory!

Live in sync with your divine nature. Don’t accept a life of failure or defeat. That’s not your calling. There’s no shame or reproach in your life. God ordained your life to be the proof of His grace, love and power. You have a life of excellence, victory, purpose and divine eminence. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

My life is for the glory of God. I am His workmanship, created to show forth His excellence. I live a life of purpose, victory and impact. Through me, the world sees the power and beauty of God’s love, and many are brought out of darkness into God’s marvellous light, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

TOPIC: WALK IN THE REALITY OF YOUR DIVINE NATURE

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4).

Christianity is not a religion; it’s a relationship with God and a participation in the divine life. When you were born again, you were recreated in Christ. You received a new life, a new nature, and a new identity. This isn’t a future hope but a present-hour reality. The Christian is not a forgiven sinner but a new creature: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new ”(2 Corinthians 5:17).

The old man with his limitations, weaknesses and failures is gone. The new you, the new creation, is
fashioned after Christ—righteous, victorious, and a living tabernacle of God. This truth is foundational to walking in dominion. Some Christians struggle because they still identify with the old nature which was crucified with Christ (Galatians 2:20). They pray like beggars, think like victims, and speak defeat, because they don’t know who they really are in Christ.

You’re the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21). You’re more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). You’ve been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:3). You’re complete in Christ (Colossians 2:10). You hail from God; your origin is divine (1 John 4:4). Have this consciousness. Live the divine life. That’s Christianity; it’s a life of power, glory and fellowship with the Spirit.

Every day is an opportunity for you to express Christ and manifest the realities of the Kingdom. Refuse to see yourself from a natural perspective, as a mere man. Psalm 82:6 says, “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.” You’re a God-being. You’ve been brought into life and immortality. Walk in the reality of your divine nature: “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue” (2 Peter 1:3). Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. I walk in righteousness, victory and divine purpose. I’ve been brought into life and immortality. I manifest the glory of God and the realities of the Kingdom everywhere. Blessed be God!

📖For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us (2 Corinthians 1:20).

God’s promises are not uncertain or pending. In Christ, every promise God ever made has already been fulfilled. You don’t need to beg, wait, or wonder, because in Him, the answer is “Yes” and the confirmation is “Amen!” Hallelujah! Imagine all the beautiful promises of the Old Testament, the entire blessings of Abraham—they’ve all been fulfilled in Christ.

Now that you’re in Christ, you’ve possessed the blessings. You’ve received the promise of the Spirit and the fullness of divine life. 2 Peter 1:3 tells us that His divine power has _ “…given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” _ Every blessing you can ever imagine, anything good that you can ever contemplate in Christ Jesus, they’re already your present-hour possessions.

Sadly, due to their ignorance of this reality, some Christians live as though they’re still trying to obtain what God has already given to them. They pray and cry for what they should simply acknowledge and receive by faith. You were born into an incorruptible inheritance. All things are yours now: _ “Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours” _ (1 Corinthians 3:21-22).

The Word says, _“He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”_ (Romans 8:32). This means nothing is withheld from you. God gave you His best, the Lord Jesus. Along with Him, He freely gave you everything: eternal life, righteousness, divine health, prosperity, wisdom, victory, etc. It’s time to stop “seeking” and start walking in the blessings. Enjoy your inheritance in Christ.

Declare, “All things are mine. All blessings and divine favours are mine, and I enjoy them in real-time.” If it’s written in the Word, then it’s already yours. Take possession with your words. Rejoice like one who has received. Act like one who has inherited the blessings. You’re not a beggar in the Kingdom. You’re a possessor. All the promises are yours, and in Christ, they are fulfilled. Glory to God!

PRAYER

Dear Father, what joy to know that in Christ I’ve possessed all things; all blessings and divine favour are mine, and I enjoy them in real-time. I walk in divine health, prosperity, righteousness and victory. Nothing is missing or lacking in my life. I live in the fullness of God’s blessing, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

YOUR WORDS ESTABLISH YOUR DOMINION

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof (Proverbs 18:21)

Your words are not just sounds; they are spiritual instruments of power. Words are things; they have spiritual tangibility. God designed the human spirit to function like His: to speak and create. It helps you understand the reason the Lord Jesus said, *“You shall have what you say”* (Mark 11:23). Your dominion in life is voice-activated.

As the seed of Abraham, you function like God by speaking truth in faith. Don’t speak on the basis of sensory perception. Don’t speak fear. Speak what God has said. Your health, finances, relationships and destiny respond to your words. Keep declaring life, peace, strength and increase.

Many live below their inheritance because they’ve never voiced what is written of them in the Scriptures. The written Word must become the spoken Word. Until you say it, it will not happen. Your words set spiritual laws in motion. When you speak in line with God’s Word, angels move to act in your behalf. Heaven backs your declarations.

Therefore, don’t be quiet. Speak your inheritance. Proclaim your identity in Christ. Declare that you’re full of the Holy Ghost, walking in power and divine insight. Command your day, and frame your future with your words.

CONFESSION

My words are full of life and power, and as I declare the Word of God boldly in faith, it produces victories and the realities that I desire. My life moves in the direction of my confessions. I speak life and abundance, and that’s what I see and enjoy, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

THE TRUTH, THE GOSPEL, AND THE WORD*

Friday, 31st May 2024

Stand therefore, HAVING YOUR LOINS GIRT ABOUT WITH TRUTH, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And YOUR FEET SHOD WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE; Above all, taking the shield of faith…and THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, WHICH IS THE WORD OF GOD (Ephesians 6:14-17).

‭Observe the underlined portions of our theme scripture; they all have to do with using the Word of God. Was this just a repetition or do they refer to differentthings? These are actually different things. Let’s start withtruth. Truth refers to the whole counsel of God.

Jesus said concerning the Word of God, *“…thy word is truth”* (John 17:17). Truth is what God has said concerning you, the world, the past, the present, the future, and anything else about life, about death, the spiritual, and the material. This means God holds the truth about anything and everything.

Number two is the Gospel of peace. The Bible says *“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace…that publisheth salvation…”* (Isaiah 52:7). The Gospel of peace therefore refers to the message of salvation.

Now, the whole Word of God isn’t necessarily about salvation, but it points to it. This means the message of salvation is a part of that body of Truth because after salvation, there’s still a life to live. So, what we’re dealing with here is the preparation of the Gospel. It says, *“...your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace...”;* meaning that God is sending you with the message of salvation.

Then the third one is *“...the sword of the spirit, which is the Word of God.”* This isn’t just the Word revealed and kept within your spirit; it’s dealing with the spoken Word, the “Rhema” of God—God’s Word on your lips. It’s called the sword of the Spirit because it’s for combat.

As long as the Word is inside you, that’s Truth; you’re keeping the Truth in you, which is wonderful. Then the preaching of the Gospel saves, heals and delivers, but there’s a “war.” And the sword of the Spirit, which is the spoken Word of God, is your offensive weapon against the adversary. Therefore, speak the Word always and keep the enemy subdued. Hallelujah!

Dear Father, your Word is the true Light. I’ll never walk in darkness, because your Word guides my path in victory and glory. Your Word is in my heart and in my mouth, prevailing mightily in my life, city and nation as I speak it forth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 #𝐍𝐄𝐆𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐎𝐑 𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄

🔴If you ever surprise yourself by expressing any negative emotion or attitude, repent and correct yourself quickly. Say, “Father, I didn’t know I could get impatient like this. From today, I reject impatience in Jesus’ Name.”

🔴If, instead of responding in love, you find yourself respond with hatred, anger, or bitterness, you say, “Father, in the Name of the Lord Jesus, I reject this. It will not have power over me.”

🔴Don’t let anything or anyone produce the worst in you.

🔴Don’t find yourself manifesting such ungodly attributes.

🔴Refuse to let your life be a vent for satanic expressions.

🔴That’s why I like that song that says,“Satan has no authority here in this place, he has no authority here, for this habitation was fashioned for the Lord’s presence, no authority here.”

🔴This is one of those songs that you sing and they help your life go in the right direction.

🔴You’re the Lord’s habitation, fashioned for His presence. Therefore, satan has no authority in any part of your life.

🔴If you ever notice anger trying to boil over in you, you say, “No! I’m full of love!” Then you address the anger: “Anger, you have no authority in my heart, for I’m the Lord’s habitation, fashioned for His presence!”

🔴When you do that, the love of God will well up and fill your heart, glory to God!

PEACE—THE WORK OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

Wednesday, 13th December 2023

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven (Matthew 5:16)

Isaiah 32:17 says, *“And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance forever.”* We’re the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21). So, when the Bible talks about the work of righteousness being peace, it’s telling you what you must produce as a result of your nature: your work is to establish peace.

The word “peace” is from the Hebrew “shâlôm” and it refers to the totality of the human welfare—health, prosperity, etc. So, your work is to produce health, prosperity, and peace. Remember the words of the Lord Jesus in John 9:5. He said, *“As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”*

He didn’t say those things just to distinguish Himself alone; He said it so we would know to speak accordingly. You’re the bearer of His peace. Places where there had been war, bloodshed, hostilities, and wanton destruction of lives and properties can have peace when you show up, darkness is dispelled and the righteousness of God is established. Hallelujah!

Our God is the God of peace. Therefore, peace in the nations is His will. The Lord Jesus said in John 14:27, *“Peace leave with you, my peace l give unto you....”* How the world needs this today—the peace that only Jesus gives. We’re the ones to help others and the nations experience this extraordinary life of peace through prayer, the preaching of the Gospel, and our works of righteousness.

1 Timothy 2:1-2 says, *“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.”* That’s it! Peace with extraordinary grace for prosperity, excellence, preservation and rest will mantle the nations and hearts of men as we pray for all men, as we carry out the works of righteousness. So it makes no difference the turmoil, distress and troubles in today’s world; decree peace, health and prosperity for your city and nation.

Dear Father, I’m the expression of your will and nature of righteousness, and I enforce your peace, health, and prosperity wherever I go. I decree peace over my city and nation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF HIM

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3).

There’s nothing you could ever need or desire for a godly life that’s not already yours. But the way to make all that’s already yours in Christ a reality in your life is a function of your knowledge of Him. Read our theme scripture again: it’s about your knowledge of Him. This kind of knowledge is full, exact knowledge—“epignosis” (Greek).

God’s provisions aren’t going to come to pass in your life just because they’re written in the pages of the Bible; there’s a knowledge of Him that you must have, knowledge that unites the knower with that which is known.

Something so beautiful and powerful about knowing Him is that not only do you get to know and are able to appropriate all that He’s given to you, but you also get to know yourself. The more you know Him, the more you know yourself. His Word mirrors you; in Him, you see you. You can never really know yourself as God knows you until you know Him.

The way to know Him, and get to discover you, is to study and meditate on the Word. 2 Corinthians 3:18 shows the Word to be the mirror of God that reveals your true description. It says, _*“...we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”*_

Search and discover who you really are by looking into the mirror of God; by getting to know the Lord. The moment you get a hold of what the Word says is yours, or who the Word says you are, respond by affirming accordingly. That’s how you endorse His Word to come to pass in your life.

Ephesians 1:3 says God has blessed you with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ, and 1 Corinthians 3:21 declares, _*“...all things are yours.”*_ God has given you everything you require to live victoriously and be a success in life.

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, I thank you for giving me everything I need for a godly life of success and victory in this world. I’m full and loaded with blessings; and as I look into your Word, I’m transfigured; your glory is revealed in and through me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*
