DESTINY DESTROYERS

A destiny destroyer can be anyone or anything that hinders or blocks someone from achieving their God-ordained purpose.

According to the Bible, destiny destroyers can manifest in various forms, including:

INTERNAL FACTORS

- Sin and Disobedience:
Disobeying God's commands can separate us from His will, leading to destruction
(Isaiah 59:2).

- Fear and Doubt:
Fear can paralyze faith, preventing us from fulfilling our purpose
(James 1:6-8).

- Pride:
Excessive pride can lead to arrogance and self-centeredness, distracting us from our true purpose
(Proverbs 29:23).

- Laziness or Procrastination:
Neglecting God's assignments can delay His plans
(Proverbs 6:9-11).

EXTERNAL FACTORS

- Negative Influences:
Toxic relationships or ungodly connections can lead us astray
(Proverbs 13:20).

- Satanic Oppression:
Spiritual attacks designed to derail our purpose
(1 Peter 5:8).

- People with Malicious Intent:
Individuals like King Herod, who sought to kill Jesus, or Haman, who plotted to destroy the Jewish people, can be considered destiny destroyers
(Matthew 2:16-18, Esther 3-5).

DEALING WITH EVIL FAMILY PATTERNS
EZEKIEL 16:44-45
1. Idolatry and Ancestral Worship
Pattern:
Some families keep repeating idolatry—worshipping other gods apart from the true God.
Gideon’s family (Judges 6:25–27):
Gideon’s father had an altar of Baal and an Asherah pole in their household.
God warned Israel that idolatry would bring generational curses (Exodus 20:5).

Effect:
Families that stay in idolatry often suffer spiritual bo***ge and God’s judgment.
2. Polygamy and Sexual Immorality
Abraham’s family line:
Abraham took Hagar (Genesis 16), Jacob married two sisters and had children by their maids (Genesis 29–30),
David had many wives and concubines (2 Samuel 5:13), and Solomon ended up with 700 wives and 300 concubines (1 Kings 11:3).
Effect:
These choices brought jealousy, family strife, and even judgment in later generations.
3. Anger, Hatred and Murder
Cain and Abel (Genesis 4:8):
Cain killed his brother.
Lamech, Cain’s descendant, boasted of murder (Genesis 4:23–24).
Effect:
Violence often continues if not broken, leading to generational conflict and destruction.
4. Deception and Lies
Abraham lied about Sarah being his sister (Genesis 12:11–13).
Isaac repeated the same lie about Rebekah (Genesis 26:7).
Jacob, their son, deceived his father Isaac to steal Esau’s blessing (Genesis 27:19).
Effect:
The pattern of deception caused broken trust and family division.
5. Favoritism and Sibling Rivalry
Isaac favored Esau, Rebekah favored Jacob (Genesis 25:28).
Jacob favored Joseph and gave him a special coat, leading to his brothers’ hatred (Genesis 37:3–4).
Effect:
It breeds bitterness, betrayal, and family wounds.
6. Poverty and Financial Struggles
The widow’s family in 2 Kings 4:1–7: Her husband died in debt, and the creditor wanted to take her two sons as slaves.
Effect:
Without wisdom and God’s intervention, poverty often continues from one generation to another.
7. Rebellion Against God
Eli’s household (1 Samuel 2:12–17, 1 Samuel 3:11–14)

Types & Causes of Hindrances in Life
1. Fear and Doubt:
Fear and doubt can hinder our progress and faith.
- Example: Gideon (Judges 6-8)
- Gideon's fear and doubt initially hindered his obedience to God's call, but he eventually overcame them.
2. Sin and Disobedience:
Sin and disobedience can create barriers between us and God, hindering our lives.
- Example: Adam and Eve (Genesis 3) - Their disobedience in the Garden of Eden introduced sin and hindrances into human experience.
3. Negative Influences:
The company we keep and the influences we allow in our lives can hinder our growth and well-being.
- Example: King Solomon (1 Kings 11:1-8)
- Solomon's relationships with foreign women led him astray, hindering his devotion to God.
4. Lack of Faith:
A lack of faith can hinder our ability to trust God and experience His power.
- Example: The disciples (Matthew 17:14-21)
- Their lack of faith hindered their ability to cast out a demon, but Jesus' intervention showed the power of faith.
5. Pride and Self-Reliance:
Pride and self-reliance can hinder our humility and dependence on God.
- Example: King Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 4:28-37)
- His pride and self-reliance led to a period of humiliation, but he eventually humbled himself and acknowledged God's sovereignty.
6. Unforgiveness and Bitterness:
Unforgiveness and bitterness can hinder our relationships and spiritual growth.
- Example: Joseph's brothers (Genesis 45:1-5)
- Their guilt and unforgiveness initially hindered their relationships, but Joseph's forgiveness and reconciliation brought healing.
7. Distractions and Busyness:
Excessive distractions and busyness can hinder our focus on God and our priorities.
- Example: Martha (Luke 10:38-42)
- Martha's busyness and distractions hindered her focus on Jesus, while Mary prioritized listening to Him.
These examples illustrate common hindrances and how biblical figures navigated them. By learning from their experiences, we can better overcome obstacles in our own liv

‎Today's Prayer Point:

‎"Deliver me from My Ancestors and Forefathers"

‎TExt: Lamentation 5:7

‎"Our ancestors sinned and are no more, and we bear their punishment."

‎This verse highlights the idea that the current generation is suffering the consequences of the sins committed by their forefathers.

‎Interpretations:

‎- Generational Consequences:
‎The verse emphasizes the reality of generational consequences, where the actions of one generation can impact the next.

‎This concept is echoed in Exodus 20:5, which warns of visiting "the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation".

‎- Personal Responsibility:
‎While acknowledging generational consequences, the Bible also teaches personal responsibility. Each individual is accountable for their own sins, as seen in Deuteronomy 24:16,
‎"Fathers shall not be put to death for their children, nor children for their fathers; each is to die for his own sin".

‎- Repentance and Restoration:
‎The lament in Lamentation 5:7 should lead us to repentance.
‎God is merciful and desires to restore those who turn back to Him, breaking the cycle of sin.

‎Prayer!!!

TEXT:Romans:7.21-24

So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me.

For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members.

What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death?

PRAYER AND FASTING

TEXT: JOSHUA 21:1-3

Now the family heads of the Levites approached Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the other tribal families of Israel at Shiloh in Canaan and said to them, "The LORD commanded through Moses that you give us towns to live in, with pasturelands for our livestock."
So, as the LORD had commanded, the Israelites gave the Levites the following towns and pasturelands out of their own inheritance:

POINT TO NOTE:
It's the will of God to give lands for your inheritance and settlement.
Where your forefathers settled after migrating from the north, Congo or south, is your inheritance.

Even if you have migrated to town or abroad, you still have to build in your ancestral land.

Where you are abroad is your temporary place.
Build a house in your village or country, that's settlement.

PRAYER!
1) Repentance on half of the land
2) Confess the Lordship of Jesus Christ - blessed is the nation who's God is the Lord.
3) Bless the Lord God for blessing us in the land --- Deut 8

WAR AGAINST THE ENEMY OF SETTLEMENT
-Ancestral Spirits
-Ancestral Altars, Covenants and Shrines
-Witchcraft
-Idolatry (Idol worship)
-Curses and Spells
-Economic dependancy and slavery

DECLARATIONS
-The Lord to give us lands in our nation
-The Lord to give us peace in the land
-The Lord to heal our Nation --- 2 Chronicles 7:13-14

These we Pray in the Name of Jesus Christ.

AMEN.
