There’s a lot of things under attack these days.
And rightly so.
- Having a perfect Bible
- Worldly music
- churches looking night clubs
- removing services
- preachers looking feminine
- hating Israel
- bad eschatology
And these are just a few.

But I never thought I’d see a day when soulwinning and soul winners are under attack.
To mock it calling it “screen door” and “front porch” evangelism is wild.
Everyone in the NT who got saved got saved OUTSIDE of the church!👀
House to house was practiced.
Paul got off a boat and immediately went soulwinning.
We are commanded to go so why attack people who go?
😳🤯
And have you asked yourself why you DONT go?🙌🏽
I don’t mean hiding behind a pulpit, having an invitation and having altar workers deal with people.
I mean YOU…going door to door, on the street corner, on a bus route, to the hospitals and nursing homes.

And stop with the “easy believism” nonsense.
Your tracts say the same thing as mine. 👏🏽
Your gospel invitation is the same as mine. 👏🏽
It’s not complicated or difficult.
Unless you believe the NKJV where it says it’s difficult 🤦🏽‍♂️

I’d say the biggest problem in our churches today is our lack of soulwinning and lack of soul winners.
Many of our churches brag about being a soulwinning church yet it’s only about 10% who are actually soul winners.
Stop mocking it.
Stop making it non-important.
Stop putting it down.
Stop bringing in non-soulwinning preachers!
Most of the preachers who are getting meetings today took over large churches and are running less!🫪🤯

Inflating numbers and so called “easy believism” is NOT the same.
If you said you led 3000 people to the Lord in a month, I’d be asking questions as well.
Let’s be honest though, you might find 1 or 2 who say that stuff.
It’s beyond extreme.
If people post such craziness, here’s what you do:
1. Ask them how they win souls.
2. Ask them if they follow up.
3. Ask to go with them.
Hopping in social media with zero facts and blabbing is silly. If it’s so bad, name them.
I’ve read many preachers/missionaries get attacked and lied about on here about their soulwinning by someone who doesn’t know them or has NEVER gone with them… yet I have.
I’ve literally watched them lead someone to the Lord…the same you do…the same way your tract says….the same way your church website says…the same way you do at an invitation.

And……watch this….they go soulwinning everyday for hours.
Do you go soulwinning for hours everyday …even in a week?
I don’t. Just being honest. 🤷🏽‍♂️
Let’s take how many people you gave the gospel to and put it public.
Put your numbers up:
- how many hours you spent soulwinning
- how many times you gave the gospel clearly
- how many people you witnessed to
I think we should start calling out pastors for their LACK of soulwinning. 🧨
I’m more ashamed of myself for NOT being a better soulwinner than I am of that brother in another state who keeps talking about soulwinning and posting pics with his converts.
Good grief, men.

“Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Beloved, this verse is a warning from the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. He spoke these words to His disciples in the garden, when they should have been awake in prayer—but instead, they slept. Their spirit desired to follow Christ, but their flesh failed them.

How often are we the same? We say we love God, yet our eyes are fixed more on our phones than on His Word. We have time to scroll, but little time to seek. We are quick to check messages, but slow to bow our knees in prayer.

The battle for your soul is real. The world pulls on one side, and the Word of God calls on the other. Your flesh craves comfort, entertainment, and distraction—but your spirit longs for God.

Jesus said, “Watch and pray.”
Watch—be alert, guard your heart, discern what is pulling you away from Christ.
Pray—because without God’s strength, your flesh will always lose the battle.

The phone is not the enemy—but if it steals your time with God, weakens your prayer life, and dulls your hunger for Scripture, then it has become an idol.

Ask yourself: Who’s winning your life—your Bible or your phone?

The flesh is weak, but there is victory in Christ. Put down the distractions. Pick up your Bible. Turn off the noise. Fall on your knees. Watch and pray, for the Lord is soon coming, and blessed are those found faithful.

By definition, an “Independent Baptist” church is not a denomination in the traditional sense. Rather, it is a movement of autonomous local churches that reject centralized governing bodies, conventions, or denominational hierarchies. Each congregation is self-governing under the authority of Christ and the Scriptures, rather than being controlled by a national organization or headquarters.

This principle reflects the New Testament pattern of local church autonomy. In Revelation 2–3, the Lord Jesus addressed individual churches directly, holding each congregation accountable for its own doctrine and conduct. Likewise, Acts 14:23 shows that elders were ordained in every church, emphasizing local leadership rather than a centralized authority.

Independent Baptist churches often emphasize the truth that Christ alone is the Head of the church:

“And he is the head of the body, the church…” — Colossians 1:18 (KJV)

Because each church is independent, they answer primarily to God, His Word, and their local congregation. While they are not united under one official denomination, many Independent Baptist churches share several common doctrinal convictions and practices:

• Biblical Authority
They strongly uphold the inspiration and inerrancy of Scripture, believing the Bible to be the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God…” — 2 Timothy 3:16 (KJV)

“Thy word is true from the beginning…” — Psalm 119:160 (KJV)

• Fundamental Biblical Beliefs
Often called Independent Fundamental Baptists (IFB), many hold to a literal interpretation of Scripture, including the biblical account of creation, the virgin birth of Christ, His bodily resurrection, and His second coming.

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” — Genesis 1:1 (KJV)

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven…” — 1 Thessalonians 4:16 (KJV)

• Salvation by Grace Through Faith
Independent Baptist churches strongly preach the necessity of personal conversion through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith…” — Ephesians 2:8–9 (KJV)

“Neither is there salvation in any other…” — Acts 4:12 (KJV)

• Believer’s Baptism by Immersion
They practice baptism only after a person professes faith in Christ, and baptism is typically done by full immersion.

“Then they that gladly received his word were baptized…” — Acts 2:41 (KJV)

“And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water…” — Matthew 3:16 (KJV)

• Evangelism and Missions
Independent Baptist churches place a strong emphasis on soul-winning, missions, and the Great Commission.

“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” — Mark 16:15 (KJV)

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them…” — Matthew 28:19–20 (KJV)

• Use of the King James Bible
Many Independent Baptist churches exclusively use the King James Version (KJV), believing it to be a faithful and reliable English translation of God’s Word.

“The words of the LORD are pure words…” — Psalm 12:6 (KJV)

• Fellowship without Denominational Control
Although they reject denominational oversight, Independent Baptist churches often cooperate voluntarily with like-minded churches for missions, camps, conferences, and fellowship meetings.

“For we are labourers together with God…” — 1 Corinthians 3:9 (KJV)

In summary, Independent Baptist churches are characterized by local church autonomy, biblical authority, conservative doctrine, evangelistic zeal, and a desire to follow the New Testament model for the church. Though independent from denominational structures, they are united by shared convictions centered upon the Lord Jesus Christ and the authority of the Word of God.

AT WHAT POINT CAN A CHILD UNDERSTAND THE GOSPEL?

There is no clearly defined “age of accountability” stated in the Bible. Children develop differently, mature differently, and understand truth at different rates. Some children may begin understanding right and wrong very early, while others take longer to grasp deeper spiritual truths. The real question is not simply about age, but at what point a child can truly understand the gospel and personally believe on Christ.

Many people try to assign a specific age where a child suddenly becomes accountable before God, but Scripture never gives a universal number. A child’s mental development, ability to reason, understanding of morality, and comprehension of spiritual truth can vary greatly from one person to another.

A child may learn words and vocabulary very early in life. However, understanding language is not always the same as understanding spiritual truth. Some children can memorize verses, repeat prayers, or imitate religious behavior without fully understanding what sin is or why they need a Saviour. At the same time, some children genuinely begin to understand guilt, forgiveness, and faith in Christ at surprisingly young ages.

The gospel is simple enough for a child to believe, yet there must still be genuine understanding involved. A child does not need to become a theologian before being saved. They do not need to understand every doctrine about sin, judgment, or salvation. However, there should be at least some awareness that they have done wrong before God and that Jesus Christ died for sinners.

The Bible says:

“Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.”
— 1 Timothy 1:15

A person cannot meaningfully understand salvation without understanding there is something they need to be saved from. This does not mean a child must fully comprehend the depth of human depravity or eternal judgment, but they should understand enough to personally recognize:

“I have done wrong,”
“God says sin is wrong,”
“Jesus died for my sins,”
“I need forgiveness,”
“I should trust Christ.”

This understanding may appear gradually rather than instantly.

The Scriptures show that children are capable of learning spiritual truth from a young age. Paul told Timothy:

“And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”
— 2 Timothy 3:15

Notice that Timothy was taught the Scriptures from childhood. Parents and churches should therefore not avoid teaching children the gospel early in life. The truth of Christ should be taught patiently, clearly, and lovingly as children grow and begin asking questions about God, sin, death, heaven, forgiveness, and salvation.

At the same time, there is wisdom in avoiding pressure tactics that push children into making shallow professions of faith before they truly understand what they are believing. Repeating words alone does not save anybody. Salvation comes through genuine faith in Jesus Christ.

The Bible says:

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”
— Ephesians 2:8

Children can possess real faith, but adults should be careful not to confuse emotional responses, imitation, or fear with genuine understanding and belief.

Some children may sincerely trust Christ at a very young age. Others may hear the gospel for years before truly understanding it personally. God alone perfectly knows the heart, mind, and level of understanding of every child.

Rather than focusing entirely on discovering a precise “age of accountability,” believers should focus on faithfully teaching children the truth of God’s Word and clearly presenting the gospel as early as possible. As children begin to understand sin, forgiveness, and the person of Jesus Christ, they should be lovingly shown how to personally believe on Him for salvation.

Jesus Himself said:

“Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.”
— Mark 10:14

The goal is not to force children into professions of faith, nor to delay teaching them the gospel unnecessarily, but to guide them toward genuine understanding and sincere faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

“DON’T LET WORLDLY THINGS GET BETWEEN YOU AND GOD”
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world…” (1 John 2:15–16, KJV)

This is a solemn warning from the Lord. The world is full of distractions—money, pleasure, pride, possessions, fame, and the desires of the flesh. None of these things may seem evil at first, but when they begin to take God’s place in your heart, they become idols.

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”
—1 John 2:15 (KJV)

God is not saying we cannot live in this world—He is warning us not to become attached to it. The enemy uses worldly things to slowly pull our eyes away from Christ. A little compromise, a little distraction, and before long, prayer becomes silent, the Bible stays closed, and the heart grows cold.

“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father…”
—1 John 2:16 (KJV)

The lust of the flesh says, “Feed your desires.”
The lust of the eyes says, “You need more.”
The pride of life says, “You don’t need God.”

But all these things are passing away.

“And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”
—1 John 2:17 (KJV)

Do not let temporary things steal your eternal reward. No possession, no relationship, no entertainment, and no earthly success is worth losing closeness with God.

Lay aside every weight. Put Christ first again. Walk away from anything that stands between you and your Savior.

Choose God over the world.
Choose holiness over compromise.
Choose eternity over temporary pleasure.

For when God is all you have, you will find that God is all you need.
