Good afternoon beloved brothers and sisters in Christ of Ndola Region PCM.
I am filled with gratitude, and joy. Because my tenure as your Vice Region Representative has come to an end; gratitude, because of the incredible opportunities I've had to serve and grow alongside each of you; and joy, because I know that Ndola Region PCM is in capable hands.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to our Youth Directors who served under Copperbelt conference, and all conference leadership who have guided and supported me throughout my journey. Your wisdom, encouragement, and prayers have meant the world to me.
As I pass the baton to our new Regional Representative Elder Sakala, I have no doubt that Ndola Region PCM will continue to thrive and flourish.
Let's remember to always seek God's guidance, to support one another, and to be the salt and light in our Conference, Region, local Branches and home's.
In closing, I leave you with a verse from 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 - 'Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.'
May God bless and guide each of you, and may our Conference and Region in particular continue to be a beacon of hope and love among youths we serve.
Your humble servant,
ITAYI MUDEKWA

MORNING DEVOTION

TITLE: GOD HAS THE FINAL SAY.

READING: Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying, Let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal: Thus saith the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass. Isaiah 7:5-7 KJV

DEVOTION: When Judah was being schemed against by its enemies, God heard these plans and did not allow the enemies to succeed or prosper. Through the Prophet Isaiah, God assured His people peace and security through His Word. This scenario is not far from what is happening in our personal lives. We have a spiritual enemy that schemes against God’s people using ungodly and unrepented hearts. Yet, victory is always for those who trust in the Lord and the faithfulness and power of His Word!

Someone may have declared negatively about your future, or others may try to sabotage your family, calling, business, or ministry. But the word of the Lord says it shall not stand; neither shall it come to pass! Put your trust in the Lord and upon His Word, for He Who has declared it is faithful and more powerful than any man’s words!

PRAYER POINT: My God, my powerful Living Rock, I trust in Your faithfulness and Your promises! Thank You for giving us Your Word that I can meditate upon day and night. I don’t have to fear or worry about what others are saying because Your Word gives me peace and security! My family and I are safe in Your hands in Jesus’ name. Amen.

MORNING DEVOTION

TITLE: KINDNESS HAS IT'S ETERNAL REWARD.

READING: And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward. Matthew 10:42 KJV

DEVOTION: Kindness has its benefits and, in some ways, its disadvantages. By being kind, others may take advantage of you, and at the same time, there is a promise of reward for being hospitable and kind, especially to God’s people. As the opening scripture says, even just by offering a drink or snack to a fellow Christian because this is what your pastor or your mentor taught you, Jesus said you shall not lose your reward!
While some people may take advantage of your kindness and goodness, don’t let that stop you from being kind and showing hospitality to others. God sees your golden heart and He promises that your good deeds have their reward. You shall by no means lose this reward, especially when you offer help to His people. Stay as kind and powerful as you are in Christ Jesus!

PRAYER POINT: Lord Jesus, as I abide in You and obey Your words, thank You that I won’t lose my rewards in heaven. You prepare them for me as I follow Your footsteps and take heed of the wisdom of Your words. May You keep my heart tender and kind at all times toward people so that I may glorify You in Jesus’ name. Amen.

BLESSED SUNDAY MORNING

MORNING DEVOTION

TITLE: MAKING GOD YOUR HIGHEST PRIORITY!

READING: He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Matthew 10:37 KJV

DEVOTION: God wants us to prioritize Him above all other things. When we love anything and anyone more than Him, not only do we put our lives in danger, but we also open the door to idolatry, which gives the enemy permission to work in our lives. That is why the first and greatest commandment is to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, and mind with all our strength, and the second is to love others as we love ourselves (Mark 12:30-31).
God understands that our family, whether biological, institutional, or spiritual, is our most treasured investment in this world. But as the opening scripture says, as Christians we are not worthy to be followers of Christ if we love our family, lover, spouse, children, and anyone and anything else more than Him! We can’t fully follow His will and live our God-given calling if other voices and opinions matter more than His! Make God your highest priority and utmost love, and you are doing your loved ones the biggest divine favor! Let God take care of them!

PRAYER POINT: My Lord Jesus, my utmost love and delight, thank You for taking care of all my loved ones as I pursue You, follow Your will, and surrender my life to You. I don’t have to worry about them or be afraid for them because I know that You are always faithful to those who put their trust in You! Thank you, Lord, for You are worth loving and pursuing more than anything and anyone else in Jesus’ name! Amen!

MORNING DEVOTION

TITLE: START YOUR MONTH BY SITTING AT JESUS' FEET.

READING: And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet and heard his word. Luke 10:39 KJV

DEVOTION: Nothing makes a Christian more powerful and anointed than sitting at the Lord’s feet, basking in His presence, and listening to the words He has to say! In the story of Martha and Mary, Jesus praised Mary for choosing what was necessary at the moment! Martha chose to prepare meals for the Lord, but Mary chose to be with the Lord and sat at His feet (Luke 10:41-42)!

The Lord’s presence never goes away! The moment you decide to sit at the feet of Jesus, you will hear Him speak as you listen! As you choose to meditate on His Word and spend time in His presence, He is right there waiting for you! Begin this month by choosing to sit at His feet and hear His instructions, which are vital for your life goals, ministry, family, health, education, business, etc.! Obey His instructions and walk in His victory! Praise the Lord!

PRAYER POINT: My sweet Lord Jesus, thank You for Your presence. You are always there, ready to speak to me as I sit at Your feet and listen to Your words. Speak to me, Lord, for I am willing to listen. Tell me Your instructions for this month, as I am willing to obey in Jesus’ name! Amen.

MORNING DEVOTION

TITLE: GOD IS WITH YOU IN THE FIRE!

READING: He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. Daniel 3:25 KJV

DEVOTION: When we go through suffering, persecutions, trials, and difficulties in life for the Lord’s sake, the kingdom, and righteousness, we can be sure that He is with us in the fire and will cause those who put us in the fire to behold the glory of the Lord! When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did not abandon God by bowing down to other gods, He proved to them His faithfulness by rescuing them in the blazing furnace. They were not consumed or harmed by the fire, and King Nebuchadnezzar witnessed the God Whom they served!

God will never allow anything to harm you or consume you as you place your faith, hope, and trust in Him. He is the God Who walks with you in the fire, in the raging seas, and in every difficulty and pain of life (Isaiah 43:2). He is always with you, never leaving and abandoning you! He will cause those who put you in difficulty to repent as they will witness the goodness and power of God in your life! Stay faithful!

PRAYER POINT: Lord, thank You for being with me when I go through the fire. I will not be burned or consumed, for I have You by my side. Thank You for showing Your power and glory in my life, and cause others to repent and come to You because You are alive, real, and faithful! Be glorified in Jesus’ name! Amen.

BLESSED WEDNESDAY MORNING

MORNING DEVOTION

TITLE: THERE IS A GREAT BLESSING IN OBEDIENCE!

READING: And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. 1 Kings 17:13-15 KJV

DEVOTION: When God asks us to do something that contradicts our understanding, fear can take hold of us. After all, you are going to risk something when you obey God, similar to what happened to the widow in Zarephath. She was asked by the prophet to prepare her and her son’s last meal and serve it to the prophet first! But because she obeyed regardless of her feelings, there was a supernatural blessing that made it so she and her son survived and lived! Her jar of flour and jug of oil never ran out because of the Lord!

God wants us to obey and trust Him at all times, even if it doesn’t make sense! When we put our faith and hope in Him and walk in obedience to His Word, His supernatural blessings will surely follow. Do you want to experience God’s amazing moves like the miracle He performed for the widow of Zarephath? Fear not! Listen and obey!

PRAYER POINT: Abba Father, thank You for Your Word! Thank You for the supernatural blessings and provisions that are coming to me and my family as I walk in obedience. If there is any fear in my heart, thank You for removing it so that I may hold nothing back as I put my faith into action in Jesus’ name! Amen.

MORNING DEVOTION

TITLE: LET NO MAN HINDER YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD!

READING: And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner. Luke 19:7 KJV

DEVOTION: It isn’t uncommon to be judged by the people surrounding you when you are vocal and open about your relationship with God, especially when you have a negative history or past life. People will always see you for who you were rather than who you are in Christ. Zacchaeus experienced this firsthand when the Lord chose to visit his house. Instead of celebrating with him, they remembered his mistakes and thought it was wrong for Jesus to visit his house!

What other people say or think about you and your relationship with God is between them and their conscience. But you, however, continue to pursue the Lord and stay close to Him and His Word. Even if you fail and even if at times you make mistakes, let no man stop you from coming to Jesus, for you are His beloved!

PRAYER POINT: Lord Jesus, thank You for looking at me for who I am and not for my mistakes and failures. Thank You for Your endless mercy and grace that is too wide, too deep, and too wonderful for me to comprehend. While some people may not understand this divine relationship, I will continue to seek You and run to You, for You alone bring me satisfaction in Jesus’ name! Amen.

BLESSED MONDAY MORNING

MORNING DEVOTION

TITLE: GOD WILL SATISFY THE HUNGRY!

READING: And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for today I must abide at thy house. And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully. Luke 19:5-6 KJV

DEVOTION: When Zacchaeus climbed the sycamore tree, the Lord could just have passed by, since there were so many people overcrowding and wanting to see Him. Yet, the hunger of Zacchaeus to behold the Lord caught Jesus’ attention and called out to him. Because of his hunger to encounter the Lord, Jesus Christ visited his home and was joyfully received by Zacchaeus!

As you hunger to know the Lord more and get to know Him through the Word, He will acknowledge that hunger and draw near to you! He won’t fail to show up to satisfy you with His presence! And your joy will be unlike anything else as you encounter the majestic presence of the One Who captured Your heart! Are you ready to be filled and satisfied?

PRAYER POINT: Lord Jesus, the King of my heart! I want to know You more and encounter You! I hunger for Your presence and thirst for Your Word! Thank You for drawing near to me as I draw near to You, for I long to behold Your beauty and be satisfied in You alone in Jesus’ name. Amen.

BLESSED SUNDAY MORNING

MORNING DEVOTION

TITLE: GOD MAKES HIS PRESENCE KNOWN TO YOU.

READING: And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. Exodus 3:3-4 KJV

DEVOTION: God has an amazing way to get our attention in the same way he caught Moses’ attention. God knew Moses would be interested in looking at a burning bush that was not consumed, and he was. It caught his attention, he turned aside to see it, and from there, he heard God speak.

God always finds a way to make His presence known. Even when we are too busy or too occupied with the day’s tasks, He will always find a way to get our attention. It can be through a song lyric that’s being played on the radio, someone wearing a message T-shirt, an unusual cloud formation in the sky, and so on. Having a relationship with Him is the best because you know you are always pursued by Him. The only question is, will you turn aside to encounter God?

PRAYER POINT: Heavenly Father, thank You for making Your presence known. You know every detail about me and the things that easily get my attention. I know I won’t fail to notice Your presence and Your promptings, for You capture my heart like no other, and I always stand amazed in Your presence in Jesus’ name! Amen.
