*PAIN* *OF* *LOSING* *BELOVED* *ONES* .
ππππππ
As we end the week of the 45th year of God's faithfulness celebration at Twapia Main SDA church,
We honour the memories of our beloved departed ones.
Indeed, death leaves a wound that doesn't fully heal in this life. π We put on a brave face, but the ache remains, raw and real π. Yet, in Christ, we find a hope that transcends the pain.
He carries us through the valley of shadows, and one day, we'll be whole again π."
May their legacy of faith inspire us to keep pressing on π.
'Till we meet again' indeed - for in God's presence, death is not the end, but a glorious reunion.
'The dead will rise' - what a hope! π May this truth comfort and strengthen us as we remember our loved ones π.
" *Paul* , one of the most influential early Christian leaders, wrote extensively on death in his epistles. Here are some key points:
1)- *Death is a transition*: In 2 Corinthians 5:1-8, Paul describes death as a transition from earthly life to heavenly life, using the metaphor of a tent (earthly body) being replaced with a house (heavenly body).
2)- *Death is a gain*: Paul writes in Philippians 1:21-24 that death is a gain because it means being with Christ, which is far better than life in the flesh.
3)- *Death is defeated*: In 1 Corinthians 15:51-57, Paul declares that death has been swallowed up in victory through Christ's resurrection, and believers will share in that victory.
4)- *Death is a reminder*: Romans 8:38-39 reminds believers that death cannot separate them from God's love, and 2 Timothy 4:6-8 encourages believers to persevere in faith, knowing that death is a natural part of life.
These writings offer hope, encouragement, and perspective on death for believers.
And indeed being alive isn't a sign of superiority, but an opportunity for growth, reflection, and making amends.
Let's make the most of this opportunity, focus on our path, and support one another.
Remember that our departed beloved ones were likely wise in their own way, and their legacy can inspire us. Now their journey is done, but ours is still unfolding.
In whatever situation God's name must be glorifiedπ.
*Umuyayaya* *umuyayaya* *umuyayaya* .
Let's say," *AMEN* "
