our own David nkuwa was among those that participated in the children ministry preaching exposure that had a title The Midlands West Zambia Conference Children Ministries Ministries Department just concluded a highly successful Child Preacher Training program, themed "The School of the Prophets". The initiative drew 1,220 children from across the conference, providing them with skills and knowledge in preaching and ministry.
The training was held across five zones: Lusaka West, Lusaka City, Mumbwa Zone, Malambanyama Zone, and Mwayansuka Zone. Participants learned about the fundamentals of preaching, crafting impactful sermons, presentation skills, and sermon preparation techniques.
Pastor Linah Chatambudza, Director of Children's Ministries, applauded the program's success, saying it was a pivotal part of the "OneVoice27" strategy, emphasizing the critical role children play in sharing God's word. She added that the conference was committed to creating avenues where young voices could be heard and nurtured.
The training was a transformative experience that empowered children to embrace their calling and become active in spreading the gospel. Participants expressed gratitude, highlighting their practical and spiritual growth.
The initiative underscores the conference's dedication to nurturing future leaders and preachers, ensuring the continuation of its mission to spread God's message.
