The true mission of the Church has never been about buildings, programs, or popularity. It has always been about people. Jesus gave us a clear mandate: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). The main business of the Church is to win souls and make disciples—bringing people from darkness into light, from confusion into truth, and from brokenness into healing through Christ.
Winning souls is not just about filling seats; it is about transforming hearts. It is about sharing the Gospel with love, compassion, and boldness, reaching those who are lost, hurting, and searching for hope. And making disciples is not a one-time event; it is a lifelong journey of teaching, mentoring, and helping believers grow into mature followers of Jesus who live out His Word daily.
The Church exists to extend God’s Kingdom, to equip the saints, and to multiply leaders who will carry the message of salvation to the next generation. When we focus on souls, we fulfill our divine purpose. When we make disciples, we ensure that the faith continues to grow and impact the world.
Let us return to the heart of the Gospel. Let us prioritize what heaven prioritizes. Let us be a Church that reaches out, builds up, and sends forth. Because the main business of the Church is — and will always be — to win souls and make disciples.
