Come, Holy Spirit,

You are the Fire of the living God, Breath of the Eternal Father, Love poured into our hearts through Christ Jesus.

I come before You in humility and longing.

On this Holy Feast of Pentecost,

I remember how the risen Christ entered the room of fear and spoke peace to His disciples:

“Peace be with you.”

Then He breathed upon them and said:

“Receive the Holy Spirit.”

O Holy Spirit, come!

Breathe upon my soul once again.

Breathe upon every dry place within me.

Breathe upon my fears, anxieties, hidden wounds, and discouragements.

Blow upon me Your strength, power, and peace, and make my heart Your dwelling place that I too may overcome the world in Christ Jesus.

Amen 🙏
