FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENT ✝️

Dear Confreres and friends.

With great sorrow, I announce the death of our dear confrere, Rev. Fr. Michael Walsh, C.S.Sp., who passed to the Lord this evening, Sunday, 9 August 2026.

Fr. Michael was one of the pioneering Irish Spiritans who arrived in Zambia in 1971. He served faithfully in the Diocese of Monze, at Kasiya and Zimba, and for many years as Director of our Spiritan Postulancy. His life among us was a gift.

Funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course.

Please pray for the happy repose of his soul.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
