HOPE
"For in this hope we were saved." (Romans 8:24)

A scientist once conducted an experiment using rats placed in jars of water. The rats struggled to stay afloat but eventually drowned after about fifteen minutes.
He repeated the experiment, but this time, just before they drowned, he rescued them, dried them, warmed them, and allowed them to recover. Later, he placed them back into the water.
Remarkably, the rats survived for over an hour.
The conclusion was simple: they endured because they had hope that rescue would come.

Whether every detail of that experiment can be verified is not the point. The illustration reflects a profound truth about human life:

*People can endure incredible suffering if they have hope.*

Conversely, when hope dies, people often give up.
_Do not lose hope!_

Romans 8:28-29
28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. 29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.

So, you are Giving up Now?

Sometimes quitting seems to be the easiest thing to do. You have tried everything but nothing seems to be working out and your only option is to give up.

If you are sure, it was the LORD who led you this way, hold on to your dream, hold on to your vision, hold on to God’s promises for you. HE IS FAITHFUL.

James 1:2-4
2 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
