MAZHINDU FAMILY BUS - From the Hospital Window.
2 December 2020 begun just like any other day. I had taken five days leave to visit my family in the Copperbelt. Like any any my day, my day always begins with my live service with NSPPD for one hour 30 minutes, immediately the prayers were done I had my Fruitree drink and crackers. It was at that particular time that I started Sweating like no man's business, I had headache, backache and abdominal pains. The way I felt as if I had been sick for a number of days.
For me this pain was strange because I had never experienced it in my Life. Sitting on my chair became a pain as well. I had strengthen myself but to no avail. I had no option than to get my Chitenge in my bus and lied down in the corridor of the bus. This situation attracted the people sited next to me. All I had in mind was "GOD SAVE ME"
I didn't know what to do but to tell someone to tell the conductor stop the the bus. I went out but the pain became more and more. Again, I thought I will manage to reach Lusaka but still the pain became more and more. Again, I told someone to tell the conductor I need to go to the hospital. When we arrived in Kapiri Mposhi, the conductor of MAZHINDU FAMILY BUS was so good that he sent someone to help me get to Kapiri Mposhi General hospital.
In Kapiri Mposhi, the Nurse at the OPD was good and she gave me the procedure of what to do. I was still sweating like no man's business. I sent the taxi driver to bus a book for me and when he came back, I forced myself to go to the Registry but there was no one. After waiting for some few minutes the pain was more. I told the driver to take me to any drug store just to buy any pain killers.
Again, we drove back to Kapiri Mposhi to buy pain killers. When I drunk the pain killers, the pain reduced but I was still sweating. Though, the conductor of Mazhindu Family bus told me to wait until the next bus, I couldn't because standing was also painful. I got into another Bus but the Rhumba music played irritated me as if it was the one which made me sick.
By God's Grace, I slept for some hours in the Bus and only wake up at 15 miles in Lusaka. The pain was becoming unbearable I called my sister in Lusaka she took me to UTH Hospital where I was saved by two injections to reduce the pain. We were at UTH that day from 17 hours to 01: 00 hours the following day. Yesterday, we went for full blood samples, and scanning . Why am I sharing this?? The following are the reasons for sharing
1. THANK YOU
I might not know the people that helped me in the Mazhindu Family Bus on 2 December 2020 coming from Chililabombwe to Lusaka but all I need to say is thank you. I am also grateful to the conductor in Mazhindu family bus God bless you. All I can remember is that I was not seeing properly when I needed help but you hold my hand as if you knew what I was going through-Luke 2:52 . Please any one who knows him say thank you to him for me.
2. POSITION OR FAME
A time will come when your Fame or position will not matter but your relationship with God. I lied in the corridor of Mazhindu family bus, all what I thought was GOD SAVE ME. At that particular time, God because the only one who could save my soul. Your RELATIONSHIP with God is more important than your POSITION
3. BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR
A good neighbor is one who does not look at class or if they know the person they can help. Do unto others what you would like to do for you.
4. BEAUTY OR HANDSOMENESS
A time comes when our beauty and Handsomeness will not help us. A relationship with God is more important than beauty or six pack. My question is is God happy with us?
5. DEATH
Everyone is appointed to die one day. But if that day comes where will you spent your eternity. Sometimes, we are blinded by beauty, Handsomeness, fame, wealth etc but no one will die with his or her wealth. Naked we came naked we will go
Brothers and sisters in Christ, we need to check our lives because no one knows the day or the hour. Indeed, it has ended in Praise. What God can not do Does not Exist
