MAZHINDU FAMILY BUS - From the Hospital Window.

2 December 2020 begun just like any other day. I had taken five days leave to visit my family in the Copperbelt. Like any any my day, my day always begins with my live service with NSPPD for one hour 30 minutes, immediately the prayers were done I had my Fruitree drink and crackers. It was at that particular time that I started Sweating like no man's business, I had headache, backache and abdominal pains. The way I felt as if I had been sick for a number of days.

For me this pain was strange because I had never experienced it in my Life. Sitting on my chair became a pain as well. I had strengthen myself but to no avail. I had no option than to get my Chitenge in my bus and lied down in the corridor of the bus. This situation attracted the people sited next to me. All I had in mind was "GOD SAVE ME"

I didn't know what to do but to tell someone to tell the conductor stop the the bus. I went out but the pain became more and more. Again, I thought I will manage to reach Lusaka but still the pain became more and more. Again, I told someone to tell the conductor I need to go to the hospital. When we arrived in Kapiri Mposhi, the conductor of MAZHINDU FAMILY BUS was so good that he sent someone to help me get to Kapiri Mposhi General hospital.

In Kapiri Mposhi, the Nurse at the OPD was good and she gave me the procedure of what to do. I was still sweating like no man's business. I sent the taxi driver to bus a book for me and when he came back, I forced myself to go to the Registry but there was no one. After waiting for some few minutes the pain was more. I told the driver to take me to any drug store just to buy any pain killers.

Again, we drove back to Kapiri Mposhi to buy pain killers. When I drunk the pain killers, the pain reduced but I was still sweating. Though, the conductor of Mazhindu Family bus told me to wait until the next bus, I couldn't because standing was also painful. I got into another Bus but the Rhumba music played irritated me as if it was the one which made me sick.

By God's Grace, I slept for some hours in the Bus and only wake up at 15 miles in Lusaka. The pain was becoming unbearable I called my sister in Lusaka she took me to UTH Hospital where I was saved by two injections to reduce the pain. We were at UTH that day from 17 hours to 01: 00 hours the following day. Yesterday, we went for full blood samples, and scanning . Why am I sharing this?? The following are the reasons for sharing

1. THANK YOU
I might not know the people that helped me in the Mazhindu Family Bus on 2 December 2020 coming from Chililabombwe to Lusaka but all I need to say is thank you. I am also grateful to the conductor in Mazhindu family bus God bless you. All I can remember is that I was not seeing properly when I needed help but you hold my hand as if you knew what I was going through-Luke 2:52 . Please any one who knows him say thank you to him for me.

2. POSITION OR FAME
A time will come when your Fame or position will not matter but your relationship with God. I lied in the corridor of Mazhindu family bus, all what I thought was GOD SAVE ME. At that particular time, God because the only one who could save my soul. Your RELATIONSHIP with God is more important than your POSITION

3. BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR
A good neighbor is one who does not look at class or if they know the person they can help. Do unto others what you would like to do for you.

4. BEAUTY OR HANDSOMENESS
A time comes when our beauty and Handsomeness will not help us. A relationship with God is more important than beauty or six pack. My question is is God happy with us?

5. DEATH
Everyone is appointed to die one day. But if that day comes where will you spent your eternity. Sometimes, we are blinded by beauty, Handsomeness, fame, wealth etc but no one will die with his or her wealth. Naked we came naked we will go

Brothers and sisters in Christ, we need to check our lives because no one knows the day or the hour. Indeed, it has ended in Praise. What God can not do Does not Exist

It has been God all the way. Lord, I am grateful.

REVEREND VIOLET SIKWESE

A valiance Woman

I vividly remember we used to talk and joke a lot together with her younger sister Bridget whenever we visit their home . Reverend sikwese had a brother Late Kennedy sikwese our childhood friend whom we grew up with in the boy's Brigade. So most of the time we were found at their home with Officer Diphas ,myself and not forgetting our friends former BB members Dr Willard mutambo and Jonathan Mbewe. Officer Jimmy chanika LT was our very group leader. He knew places of almost all the members of the movement just the same way you see ba chileya doing Lol. Just for laughs🤣🤣
But all in good faith.

One day we met Bridget younger sister to Rev sikwese she told us that you must go and visit our friend Kennedy for he was sick. I can't remember what kept us busy the day passed we didn't visit him.. Another day at the market l bumped into her and she asked me . Why don't you want to visit your friend? I was about to respond she cut me and just told me that it's up to you and she left. I was so touched and felt guilty.

That time we had no phones so l hurried to Willard mutambo and Jonathan's place that were near and forced them to go and visit Kennedy in the evening and it was absolutely dark. l can still remember. We reached home and what we found utterly terrified us we thought it was a mere sickness but when we entered the house and looked at Kennedy we were filled with sorrow Kennedy was really sick.

We prayed and left.

The following day morning Willard broke the sad news to me that Kennedy sikwese is no more😭😭. What!! We were broken. We cried . Mum came out found us crying she embraced us sat us down and comforted us. It was too heavy and difficult to comprehend🤔. Officer Duncan chulu who was our band master then encouraged us to be strong and courageous. Our spirits where revived and we played the band in honour of our dear friend the late Kennedy sikwese.

I can't forget what happened on the burial day. We were standing in front holding candles while sorrounding the coffin. Late Tom Filika collapsed Moses mumba became unconscious and were quickly rushed out.

So seeing that Diphas Ng'ambi whom we were playing band with was terrified run away🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️. And never attended the burial. Sounds Funny today but it's true.

It would be incomplete to talk about Reverend Violet sikwese without mentioning Kennedy because his death crippled us we were young then l was 16 years old and in grade 10. The lesson that l harshly learnt is no delayement whenever we are called upon to do a service because we are each brothers keepers. Sometimes healing and redemption may simply requires the presence of the closest family and friends.. So we must be quick to respond.

Continue resting in eternal peace my dear friend Kennedy. Surely We shall meet on the other side.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Reverend sikwese's entry into the ministry has utterly shocked a lot of people my self included. I knew her as an accountant a woman who loved calculations. And as we know every woman who does well at numbers must be brainy and intelligent because generally speaking mathematics is for men . A big percentage of women dodges mathematics for they find it difficult..

The very first time l heard Reverend Violet preach was on a Sunday then she was a student Minister. She did preach from 2 Chronicles 7:14.

That message up to now l can still recall it. She really was very composed ,on point and very articulate.
And the message was wow..! Personally l was so blessed..
It was such a splendid message and absolutely uplifting...

Since when did she became this brilliant?

When did she drink the cup jesus Christ spoke about in Mathew 20 and build the capacity?

Since when did she become eloquent?

Such questions surely filled my mind.

I remember in 2011 during gala which was held in chililabombwe at kamenza secondary school . We met in the ground she found me polishing my shoes.

And she started teasing me.... Officer Marvellous. !Officer marvellous...! The smartest officer...

And l was like wow! Imwe ba officer me smartest?
We greeted each other she went her way and l proceeded with my business. A very jovial Reverend Violet sikwese.

Why am l talking about Reverend sikwese?
Because she is a product of 1st chililabombwe company Boys Brigade.

She has gracefully become so powerful, so critical ,so analytical as a minister of God.
She is now our mother and counsellor and devinely used by God in the ministry.

God has called her to do the work and l have a lot of conviction in my very heart of hearts that she has reached the Pinnacles of life and the congregation is amazed and therefore soothed.

Thank you Reverend Violet sikwese so so much for wholeheartedly giving your life to serve and Shephard the flock.

You have enveloped yourself and put on the full armor of God so that you may stand against the devil's schemes. (Ephesians 6:10-18).

As you are ministering and Shepharding the flock l want to encourage you with Bible passage (Joshua 1:6)

Always be strong and courageous Rev because the greatest temptation and setback may come from the closest people and people you trust.

We know the very point that the battle is not ours but God's.

May God increase you.

May God sharpens you.

May God give you fortitude and use you mightly like epaphras in the Bible.

May you endure hostility and hardship.
Jesus Christ the son of God was mocked and lowered in estimation on the cross of Calvary for that condemned thief when in his heart of hearts knew he was really the son of God but uttered no word of resentment.

And may you wax very great and prestigiously...

*Watch out for another bullet person in the next episode*

Peace love and respect.

Love you all.

Chanika Besa Marvellous LT.

DEBORAH

Deborah which is also spelled as Debbora was a female prophet and heroine in the Old Testament according to Juges 4-5. She was a woman who inspired the Israelites to a mighty victory over their Canaanite oppressors. The Canaanite oppressors according to the Bible were the people who lived in the Promised Land in the later Palestine. These are the people Moses spoke of before its conquest by the Israelites.

What made Deborah to succeed was that Deborah did not question God's voice or wonder what others will say or think she simply has the faith to do what God tells her. The beauty about Deborah is that Whether people follow or not was not her concern. Her only concern is doing what the Lord has called her to, and not letting anything get in the way of that.

DESPITE WOMEN NOT RESPECTED DURING THAT TIME. I Love Deborah's leadership because of the following:,

Her Wisdom was exceptional: This made people to came to her for counsel and guidance.

Deborah was Approachable and this made the people of Israel to sought and came to her for guidance

Deborah was Sensitive to God because she She knew God and God communicated to her

Deborah was a Leader to leaders. Despite Deborah not being as experienced as Barak even experienced leaders like Barack who was the military leader of the Israelites came to her for help.

In our Christian journey, God has no respecter of person whether woman or man. Infact, God does not look at Gender but looks at the capabilities, Wisdom and how one is sensitive to God's call. That is why when we need to be good Christian all we need is to be available live Deborah (Judges 4) , like Samuel no matter how young you may be ( 1 Samuel 1) , like Easter being obedience to the instruction of those with experience (Easter 3-4), etc and God will come through for us.

God will come through for us regardless of our back ground like Ruth of being widow but will look at the faith and obedience. May God see you through in this month of October for whatever we are believing Him for.

May God raise the Deborah's, the Easter's, The Ruth's, the Mirriam's in our families, marriage, neighborhood etc. The women that will stand with men to put things right in our society. Women that will bring morals in society and the country at large. I know with God everything is possible. Remember, what God can not Do Does Not Exist.

God Bless you ABUNDANTLY

INFERIORITY COMPLEX

Inferiority complex is a condition of being lower in status or quality than another or others. In other words, we can say inferiority complex is the quality or state of being lesser or lower in rank, position, quality, class etc.

Many people feel inferior because they dont value themselves because of what happened to them some time back. Or rather because of the situation they passed through in relationship, workplace, at Church or even to the places they grew from.

Inferiority complex has no gender, age, class, education levels etc. May people who have JELOUSY of you is because they feel inferior to you. That is why your life is full of people having JELOUSY and even reporting you to your superiors. In short, they can contain the GRACE on your Life. But little do they know that The Grace of God comes with commitment, Sacrifice, availability and focus.

God's Grace will always Fight for you because you position is meant for the Glory of God and not COMPETITION. Infact, there is no need to complain why some people have so much hatred and jealousy for you.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, maintain your Lane, Be Focused, and dont respond to some criticisms because your position in Life gives them headaches and sleeplessness night. Remember, being born for a purpose is different from being Born without a purpose. Discover your purpose and work towards achieving your Goals of Purpose. No matter how they fight you What they meant for Evil, God will Turn it for Our Good. Judges 11:1-10. God Bless you ABUNDANTLY
