IT IS TIME TO CHANGE THE NARRATIVE!!🙌🏾
To us as the youth of Matero congregation, this is more than a statement; we are embodying this theme in our youthful walk with Christ.

And today, we convened and had a very insightful conversation and discussion on Growth and Obedience. Our anchor scriptures were:
>Romans 12:2
>John 14:15
>Philippians 2:8

We believe Changing the Narrative begins with growth in Christ and submission to His will for our lives.

*LIVING ABOVE THE SYSTEMS OF THIS WORLD_*

*Joh 3:31 KJV* He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.

When you're above the systems of this world, you dominate everything that is beneath you, and also the standards of this world. Though we are in the world,we are not of this world. Our operations are based on the kingdom supernatural abilities and it's standards. The systems of the world and it's standards do not determine the course of our lives but we determine the course of our lives.

Go for that interview with boldness because you reign. Execute each and every plan that you have fearlessly because you are well able. Face your academics with so much boldness and power, you have the supernatural abilities. The Holy Spirit is our advantage.

Face this life with so much power because you reign. He conquered all and overcame, we too are overcommers and more that conquerors through Him. The power that Jesus had here on earth to do tremendous things, is now within us.

Thank you Lord that indeed I am well able to do tremendous things here on earth because of the power that lies within me, thank you for setting me apart and giving me the supernatural abilities to do everything.......Amen

THE DAILY BREATH DEVOTION
*Prayer Is a Conversation*

*And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. (Matthew 21:22*

Prayer is a two-way conversation; it is our talking to God, and His talking to us. As a Christian, you have a heavenly Father who hears and answers prayer. Jesus said, “All things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” Every man or woman whose life has counted for the church and the Kingdom of God has been a person of prayer. You cannot afford to be too busy to pray. A prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian. Jesus Christ spent many hours in prayer. Sometimes He spent the night on a mountaintop in solitary communion with God the Father. If He felt that He had to pray, how much more do we need to pray!

THE DAILY BREATH DEVOTION
*Run and Not Grow Weary*

*But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount to up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. (Isaiah 40:31, AMP)*

Do you sometimes feel like there is so much on your plate that you are constantly running to get it all done? There are seasons when we need to go the extra mile and give it our all, and there are seasons to rest and rejuvenate. Today’s scripture tells us that during those times when it’s necessary, we can run and not grow weary!

Are you facing something that seems to be taking all of your energy? Wait on the Lord! Expect, look for and hope in Him. The Bible promises that when you live with expectancy, when you stay hopeful, when you make preparations for the goodness of God, you’ll rise up higher. Your strength will be renewed, and you’ll be empowered to overcome life’s obstacles!

*Father, thank You for giving me Your strength and power. I receive it right now by putting my trust and hope in You. I know that with You, all things are possible in Jesus name. Amen.*

THE DAILY BREATH DEVOTION
*The Fullness of the Blessing*

*But I know that when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ. (Romans 15:29, NKJV)*

Are you living in the fullness of His blessing? God’s blessing is His supernatural empowerment. It is His favor. We’ve all seen a measure of His blessing, but He wants to take you to a whole new level. God has promises and opportunities that you haven’t even thought of yet! What you’ve seen in the past is only a fraction of what God wants to do in your future!

Understand that God likes to outdo Himself. He wants to open doors for you and bring out talents and abilities that you didn’t even know you had. We serve a God of abundance! He is the God of more than enough. Not only does He want to meet your needs, He wants to give you enough to bless other people. That’s living in the fullness of the blessing.

Today, don’t settle where you are. Your destiny is not determined by the economy, your past, or what anyone else thinks or says. Your destiny is determined by Almighty God, and He wants you to walk in the fullness of His blessing!

*PRAYER AND MEDITATION*
*Father, I come before You today with an open and humble heart, ready to receive all You have for me. Teach me to live a life that is pleasing to You so that I can be an example of Your love and walk in Your blessing in Jesus name. Amen*
