Today, with hearts full of gratitude and thanksgiving, we celebrate the remarkable ministry and service of our Global Mission Fellow.

Your time with us at St. Mark's United Methodist Church – Matero has been a blessing beyond words. Through your dedication, humility, faith, and servant leadership, you have touched lives, strengthened our fellowship, and reminded us of God's love in action.

Thank you for walking alongside us in worship, mission, community outreach, and Christian fellowship. Your presence brought encouragement, intercultural learning, friendship, and a deeper understanding of God's mission among His people.

As you embark on the next chapter of your journey, we pray that the Lord will continue to guide your steps, enlarge your ministry, and bless you abundantly wherever He leads you. Though distance may separate us, the bonds of faith and friendship we have shared will remain forever in our hearts.

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord." — Colossians 3:23

Friday's Reflection Through The Magnifying Glass of God's Word

Bible Reading: Luke 10:1-12

This inspiring message by Rev Bernard reminds us that prayer was always Jesus' first priority. As He sent out the seventy-two disciples to spread the Good News, He taught them that the work of God's Kingdom requires prayer, partnership, and dependence on God.

In this reflection, we are encouraged to pray for more laborers for the harvest, support the spread of the Gospel, intercede for those who do not yet know Christ, and be willing to lead others to the Savior.

Watch, reflect, and be encouraged to place prayer at the top of your daily to-do list.

Be Inspired and Stay Blessed. AMEN.

📖 FRIDAY'S REFLECTION THROUGH THE MAGNIFYING GLASS OF GOD'S WORD

📖 Bible Reading: Luke 10:1-12

UNDERSTANDING THE PRIORITY OF PRAYER

When it came to accomplishing any task, prayer was at the top of Jesus' list.

In our passage of today we see our Lord Jesus teaching us also how to divide the labour.

He sent out seventy-two of his disciples in pairs to spread the Good News about Him.

Despite this good start, His mission was still under-staffed. The first step He took in solving this problem was to instruct His followers to pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest, and ask Him to send out more workers for His fields.

The followers had a huge task, and getting it done meant asking God to send more people.

Today, we too have a huge task in furthering the spread of the Gospel.

No one person can save the world single-handedly.

LET US RETAIN THE FOLLOWING:

🔹 Today, let us pray that God will equip people through the Holy Spirit and send them to spread the Good News.
🔹 We can also ask Him to help us take advantage of the opportunities to share the Gospel that come our way.
🔹 If we have friends and relatives who don't know Christ yet, pray for them.
🔹 Ask God to send believers into their lives who will address their concerns, objections and needs.
🔹 Be that person who will lead others to the Saviour.
🔹 Spread the Word. Understand the priority of prayer and place it at the top of your to-do list.

Be Inspired and Stay Blessed. AMEN.

🔥 SERMON HIGHLIGHTS | THE POWER OF TRANSFORMATION AT WORK 🔥

📖 "You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you." – Acts 1:8

✨ The disciples received the teachings of Jesus, but it was the coming of the Holy Spirit that transformed them into bold witnesses for Christ.

🙏 Before Pentecost, they lived in fear. After Pentecost, they preached with boldness.

🔥 Transformation begins when we allow the Holy Spirit to take control of our lives.

💬 "A Christian is someone who receives the teachings of Christ, keeps them in their heart, and allows those teachings to transform their life."

🙌 Just as the disciples made themselves available in the Upper Room, we too must make ourselves available to God.

🕊️ The Holy Spirit was given to us when we accepted Christ. Our responsibility is to allow God's Word to transform us daily.

💡 When the power of transformation is at work in you, people will see the change.

💬 "When I was a child, I behaved like a child; when I became a man, I put away childish things."

✨ The Christian journey is a journey of growth, maturity, and transformation.

🔥 The coming of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost changed ordinary people into powerful witnesses for Jesus Christ.

🙏 Lord, transform us so that we may boldly proclaim Your Gospel.

📖 Thursday's Reflection Through The Magnifying Glass of God's Word

Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 15:12–23

Today's message reminds us that obedience to God is far better than sacrifice. God looks beyond outward religious activities and examines the condition of our hearts. True worship, devotion, and service must flow from genuine love, repentance, and obedience to Him.

Take time to do a spiritual inventory and reflect on your relationship with God. It is not merely what people see on the outside that matters, but what God sees within.

Be Inspired and Stay Blessed. AMEN
