THE DANGER OF DECEPTION
2 Corinthians 11:3
“But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”
Matthew 24:24
“For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.”
Jesus’ first warning about the last days was not persecution, famine, or war, it was deception.
When banks train tellers to detect counterfeit money, they don’t study fake notes, they study the real currency so thoroughly that anything false is immediately obvious.
In the same way, believers are not called to chase every false teaching, but to know the truth deeply.
Deception is dangerous because it looks harmless, reasonable, and spiritual.
Teachings that promise miracles without repentance, wealth without obedience, or grace without holiness sound attractive, but they slowly pull people away from Christ.
Anything that removes the cross, repentance, or holiness is a red flag.

YOUTH SUNDAY SERVICE REPORT- 19th April 2026
What a beautiful and refreshing Youth Sunday we had today. The atmosphere was filled with genuine worship, as our young people led with so much passion, energy, and love for God.
We were blessed with touching sign dances, uplifting songs, and amazing memory verse presentations from our Sunday School children. It was such a joy to watch them confidently share God’s Word.
Sister Hellen shared a powerful message titled “THE SHEEP HEAR HIS VOICE” from John 10:1–6. She encouraged us to stay close to God so we can recognize His voice and follow His leading in our everyday lives.
It was truly a meaningful service, and we are grateful for how God continues to move in the lives of our youth.

SUNDAY SERVICE UPDATES

SPIRITUAL GROWTH THROUGH OBEDIENCE
Scripture Readings: James 1:22, Isaiah 1:19, Titus 2:11–12

Last Sunday we were greatly blessed as the Women’s Ministry led the service with dedication and heartfelt worship. We thank God for their commitment and for the grace with which they served the church.
The message reminded us of a simple but powerful truth: just as the body grows with time and the mind grows through learning, spiritual growth comes through obedience to God’s Word.
Many people desire to grow spiritually, but growth does not come from hearing the Word alone. It happens when we obey God’s Word. The Bible encourages us to be doers of the Word, because obedience is what brings real transformation in our lives.
God also promises blessings to those who are willing to obey Him, and His grace teaches us to live godly and disciplined lives.
As a church, we are reminded that our spiritual maturity is closely connected to how faithfully we obey God’s Word.
We once again thank the Women’s Ministry for blessing the church. May the Lord continue to strengthen and use them mightily.

GIVING IS PART OF YOUR PRAYER
In Scripture, giving is never separated from prayer. It is a language of faith, an expression of dependence on God, and a spiritual action that speaks before heaven. Throughout the Bible, we see moments where sacrifice provoked divine response:
Solomon’s sacrifice moved God to appear to him and ask a powerful question:“Ask what I shall give thee.” 1 Kings 3:5 (KJV)
Cornelius’ prayers and generosity reached heaven and resulted in an angelic visitation:“Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.” Acts 10:4
Elijah’s sacrifice called down fire from heaven, proving that the Lord alone is God:“Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice…” 1 Kings 18:38
Noah’s sacrifice caused God to make a covenant with all creation: “I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant…” Genesis 9:13
Abraham’s sacrifice and obedience released generational promises: “Unto thy seed will I give this land.” — Genesis 12:7
Giving speaks before God. It demonstrates trust, obedience, and faith. It invites divine remembrance and divine intervention.
“So David built there an altar unto the LORD… and the LORD was intreated for the land.” 2 Samuel 24:25
Many times, we give what does not cost us.
We give spare time, leftover money, and convenient service.
But God deserves:
• The best of our time
• The best of our resources
• The best of our harvest
Sacrificial giving involves personal cost.
God values willingness over amount.
“For the LORD seeth not as man seeth… but the LORD looketh on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7
Cain gave, but his heart was wrong.
Abel gave with faith and purity.
“The LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: But unto Cain… he had not respect.” Genesis 4:4–5
God examines intention before action.
Without pure motives, even good deeds lose spiritual value.
Giving is not just an act . It is a prayer.
When your giving rises from a pure heart, heaven responds.

CROSS OVERNIGHT PRAYER 31 Dec-01 Jan 2026
TIME IS RUNNING OUT
A new year is more than a change of date. It’s a reminder that time is moving forward and not waiting for anyone. Every year we grow older and closer to eternity. The real question is not how long we live, but what we are doing for God with the time He has given us.
“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” Psalm 90:12
Life is a gift, not a guarantee.
“What is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” James 4:14
If we are alive today, it means God has given us another opportunity to repent, to grow, to serve, and to bear fruit.
Every year also reminds us of accountability.
“So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.” Romans 14:12
Jesus reminds us to act with urgency
“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” John 9:4
As we begin this year, let us reflect:
• Am I growing spiritually or just aging physically?
• Am I closer to God than I was last year?
• What am I doing for God’s kingdom?
“Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2

CAN ANYTHING GOOD COME FROM NAZARETH?
John 1:46
This Sunday was truly special, a day filled with faith, joy, and hope. Celebration songs lifted our hearts, the Sunday School children touched us with their sincerity, and the youths brought energy and passion to the service. It was a beautiful reminder that God uses every generation for His glory.
The message, “CAN ANYTHING GOOD COME FROM NAZARETH?”, gently challenged us to rethink how we see things. Nazareth was a small, ordinary, and often overlooked place. Yet from that very town came Jesus, the Savior of the world. What people may see as insignificant or broken, God can turn into something extraordinary.
God delights in using ordinary people, humble beginnings, and even broken vessels. Just like a worn utensil can still be useful in the right hands, our imperfect lives become meaningful when placed in God’s hands. He doesn’t throw us away. He restores and redeems us.
The activities were deeply heart-touching. Children ministered with pure joy, youths with bold faith, and together they showed us that God’s power is not limited by age, background, or appearance.
So when the question is asked, “Can anything good come from Nazareth?” our answer remains clear.
YES. WHEN GOD IS INVOLVED, THE ORDINARY BECOMES EXTRAORDINARY, AND WHAT SEEMS BROKEN FINDS PURPOSE.
To God be all the glory.

DO NOT GET DISCOURAGED BECAUSE OF YOUR SITUATION
1 Timothy 1
2 Corinthians 12:7
Discouragement is one of Satan’s main tools. It can come from small things such as feeling ignored, disappointed, or comparing ourselves with others. When we allow discouragement to settle in, it weakens our faith and makes us ineffective as servants of God.
God does not always work in the same way for everyone. You may not feel anything, fall down, or receive immediate answers, yet God may still be working quietly in your life. What matters most is our confession. We must say about ourselves what the Bible says about us. We overcome by the word of our testimony.
Paul encouraged Timothy not to step back when facing sickness, persecution, or hardship. These challenges are not meant to destroy us but to build and promote us spiritually. Our situations are not our enemies; they are often God’s tools to draw us closer to Him.
When challenges cause us to pray more, depend on God, and seek Him deeply, that is a sign that promotion is coming. We live in an unsteady world, but as believers, we must remain steady by standing on God’s promises.
When your situation reminds you of God, it is not punishment, it is preparation.
