There is power from the Holy Spirit that we
are able to experience when we bow down in worship before our Maker. As we
surrender ourselves through the act of worship, we make space for God to come
in and change our hearts. We begin to see the world through his eyes. We can
then experience the fruits of the spirit in our lives. Pause to worship your
Maker today!

Don't we all occasionally feel like we've just had a good pruning? As a gardener, our heavenly Father will mold and shape us to be a beautiful masterpiece. At times it hurts. In the end we are fruitful because of His skillful hands. Stay open to the work God is doing in your life. In which area of your life would you like to be fruitful? Invite the gardener in.

This verse articulates the simple truth that our actions, feelings, and motivation begin in our minds. What we ruminate on influences the ways we interact with our world. Let’s be mindful of what we allow to influence our behaviors. Make a point to only consume media, entertainment, and music that points you towards the good and beautiful things in our world.

Fear would like to tell us that God is surprised by the events of our lives. He has no control or ability to help you in this scary and uncertain world. God’s word promises something different, it promises that God will keep you. When we realize that God is with us no matter what we face we can live lives filled with peace rather than being stuck in our fear.

God’s mercies are unending and he loves you love with a powerful never-ending kind of love. As you go through your day you can take comfort in knowing you are never alone. God promises to faithfully provide what we need for each new day. Pause at some point today to thank God for the way you have experienced his mercy.

We need God’s help to be able to navigate the
relationships in our lives well! We live in a divided world, where topics such
as politics or religion can create huge rifts in our relationships. This is not
God’s best plan for our lives. Ask God to help you to put on his compassion,
kindness, humility, meekness, and patience! Pause to listen and show love, even
when you face a dividing issue with someone in your life.

It’s good for us to be near God. We need to be near his word, near his presence, and near his people. Spend time meditating on who God is and what he has done in your life. Share with other the testimony of his love at work in your life!

“His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us.

Did you realize that the Bible tells us that God predetermined the time and place that you would live? Truly, you are where you are on purpose. The God-who-sees-you determined where and when you would be breathed into life. He has a plan for your life and is not surprised by the twists and turns that rise up in each of our stories. God made you in such a manner so that you “would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him.” Meaning, God has crafted your life in such a way that you would have the best chance of knowing him. What if we examined our circumstances both good and bad from this perspective? God is at work in the good and bad of our lives, hoping that through it all, we would reach out to him and find him.

close to you as you navigate feelings of grief, loss, disappointment, stress,
and more. Ask God to give you the strength to be present, to find joy, and to
experience his supernatural peace even when you walk through a season of
heartbreak. He is close to you in every season.

Do you know why God calls us to not be afraid? It’s because he calls us to take some crazy steps of faith in our lives! Joshua was leading the Isrealites into the promised land, a very scary task! God knew they needed his assurance to be courageous while facing huge obstacles. Remember God is with you when you face trials. He has not left you in the dark but offers you courage for the fight!
