LIBALA PATHFINDER CLUB SUCCESSFULLY HOSTS PATHFINDER BIBLE EXPERIENCE ON THE BOOK OF GENESIS

The Libala Pathfinder Club Ministry successfully hosted the Pathfinder Bible Experience yesterday, Sunday, 12th July, 2026, at the Libala Seventh-Day Adventist Church from 08:00 to 16:00 hours. This year’s PBE focused on the "Book of Genesis ", as Pathfinders in different units were tested on their knowledge, understanding, and application of God’s Word.

The event was held under the theme: "A Peculiar People", drawn from 1 Peter 2:9, which calls God’s people to be a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, and a holy nation. The theme song for the day was Local Hymn 238 – “Who, Who are these”, which set the tone of worship and identity throughout the program.

The Pathfinder Bible Experience is an annual church program designed to encourage Pathfinders to study the Bible in depth, build teamwork, and strengthen their relationship with Christ. Through Bible quizzes, presentations, and scripture-based activities, Pathfinders demonstrated how the stories of Creation, the Fall, the Flood, and God’s covenant with Abraham in Genesis are still relevant to young people today.

Speaking after the event, the club Director, Dr. Felix Chibomba, said the program achieved its goal of raising “a peculiar people” who stand firm on God’s Word. “We are proud of our Pathfinders. Studying Genesis has helped them understand where we came from and where God is leading us,”.

The day was filled with praise and worship, Bible quizzes, role plays, sermons, and award presentations. Parents, church members, and visitors turned up to support and encourage the Pathfinders. The Libala Pathfinder Club Ministry extends gratitude to all that made church the event possible and successful.
